Fantastic experience! Rooms: Vintage - but everything is working fine and in a good shape. I would have preferred some higher quality bathroom amenities. The no name soaps don’t really befit the rest of the hotel. Location: In the middle of a forest. It is very quiet and peaceful. Staff: Friendly and service oriented. Breakfast: Good selection, high quality.

The restaurant was amazingly good. The service was quick and the ladies were very welcoming. Have the blueberry cake if it's available!

Such a lovely family run establishment. Highly recommend if you want somewhere in the wilderness which is quiet and close to the beautiful town of Rothenburg. We stayed 1 night 2 days before Christmas and the decorations and warm fire were very festive. Had a lovely evening meal, recommend the local fresh trout. The rooms are clean and well maintained and great value for money. Will visit again in the future during our German adventure.

It is in a very quite and beautiful location, in the middle of nature. They peacocks running around. Kids will love this place. Definitely recommend to stop by here to get coffee or beer.

Very cute and peaceful place. The staff is very friendly. I do not recommend eating with angus meat at dinner. The breakfast is not very varied but is managed very successfully. Especially the coffee that comes with the thermos in the table is very delicious. In summary, the air of this place is pretty nice. The staff is quite helpful and caring.

We LOVED this place. My wife and I stayed there with friends for a long weekend in September. Great trails to hike in the forest and delicious meals served for dinner. The rooms were a good size and our breakfast experience was the best we had during this trip to Germany. We will be back.

The Cod was amazing. Nice atmosphere, worth the drive to this out of the way gem. Friendly staff that speaks English. Well worth the visit.

I was there for birthday festivities and didn't stay overnight. The location and ambiance are idyllic, the service and food were very good. We had a lovely time.

Stopped for one night en route from Denmark to Italy for Christmas .We had a very enjoyable stay. Comfortable room and great local cuisine in the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were very very good. The staff were great. A super start to our Christmas break.
