I cannot express how amazing of a stay we had at the Inn. Erica and her husband went above and beyond to take care of our family during our wedding. The food was excellent and they take amazing care of their animals and the grounds. The eggs were fresh from the chickens they raise on the property. The rooms were extremely clean and their is so much thought and care put into the theme of each room. The highlight for us was having somewhere which was so dog friendly. Our pup loved her Breakfast meal. We will be back - if I could give more stars I would!

The Inn on Golden Pond is a dream! We stayed there for a week prior to our wedding, and then filled the Inn for our wedding weekend with our friends. Erica and Mike are the most incredible hosts, fostered such a beautiful atmosphere among guests, and took care of us and all our friends. The Inn is *magical* for children: there are chickens and dogs (our friends' kids can't stop talking about them) and loads of space to wander, and the location is perfect, with spots to hop in the lake right near by, delicious sandwich and ice cream spots right down the road, and places to hike all around you. The food is delicious, and Mike cooks for all dietary needs, making it especially welcoming to people with dietary restrictions. We are all still talking about what a special experience it was staying there, and we will be back as soon as we can. Thank you Erica and Mike!!

We had fantastic one night stay around Easter. Host are lovely, we had some great chats to them and it’s really inspiring to see what they have done with the old Inn. Our 6 year old had a great time here. It is very family friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. We wish we had stayed longer! Hopefully we will be back soon

WORTH EVERY PENNY, A MUST STAY!! My family and friends just stayed at the Inn on Golden Pond and we had the most relaxing and enjoyable time in a place that felt like a home away from home! Mike and Erica treat you like family and their inn is an oasis of detail oriented comfort that welcomes children as well as dogs—there’s even dog themed breakfast choices on the menu. The breakfast is delicious and features eggs fresh from the inn’s chickens that you can observe roaming around the property. Our kids enjoyed sledding and endless games by the fire. The views of the hiking trail were breathless as well as so serene that you can truly recharge your soul! We look forward to visiting again for summer fun on the lakes and beaches.

We stayed here two times for a weekend and we will definitely go back. Ericka and Mike are super hosts!! The Inn is beautiful, everything is sparkling clean. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are great and remodeled. Every little detail is thought through and great. I traveled with 8 and 6 year old kids. They were so happy to play with Erica's and Mike's three children. They became good friends and did not want to leave. Inn is also very dog friendly. Chef Mike cooked an amazing breakfast for us and for the dog also. Plus, we did family fire and smores and movie night. Beautiful lake 3 min away. I cannot say enough good things about hosts and our stay. Highly recommended for families with kids, dogs or anyone who wants a great time away. We will go back for sure. Best experience for us! Thank you so much Erica and Mike. Katya, Sergei, Ari and Nina. Thank you!

Amazing! Great location, spotlessly clean and great amenities - we brought our dog Oakley and he had as amazing a time as we did :) the breakfasts were delicious and the grounds were really nice - huge dog run and a beautiful back patio. Getting into town was super easy too. The stay was wonderful and the owners are the nicest and most helpful people you could hope to meet - the hikes they recommended were perfect for us. Thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed at The Inn for bike week June 2023. One of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed in, owners are friendly, breakfast was great and the room was extremely clean, welcoming and very comfortable. We already booked our stay for next year. Highly recommend.

Super friendly hosts! Kid friendly pet friendly and down right great time! We were there in the off season and still had A-1 quality service! The breakfast is fresh and local, eggs on premises! They even had breakfast items for our dogs! Just booked our return in the summer! Stayed at Moose Mountain and booked it again

Pete and I did our first "peepers" trip, traveling to New Hampshire for the changing of the leaves. Fortunately, we found the Inn on Golden Pond at Squam Lake, as we traveling with our dog Sasha. Erica welcomed us warmly and presented Sasha with a toy, The Inn is absolutely lovely! Every room is different, charming, impeccably decorated with high quality finishes and materials. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was a fire outside on the evenings when the weather permitted, and inside in the fireplace when it was drizzling. There was always an interesting group of people and interesting conversation, which was a nice surprise; it was very sociable, and enjoyable! Every morning Mike presented us with a sumptuous homemade breakfast featuring farm fresh eggs and other items as well as locally sourced bacon, sausage and other goodies. They were sensitive our particular dietary needs without having to be reminded; something both of us appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring the lake district, the white mountains, the small historic town and covered bridges of the region. We ended up hitting the peak along some of the most scenic highways and the Inn was perfectly situated to explore the region. We hope to return for a visit soon- with or without Sasha!

Perfect New England Fall Experience. Erica and her husband were excellent hosts. The breakfast included farm fresh eggs from their own chickens who free roamed the property. Rooms are newly renovated with luxury linens and are very comfortable. The location on Golden Pond is a perfect base camp to explore the surrounding state parks and long fall foliage drives.

We stayed at the Inn on Golen Pond for 4 nights. It’s an old establishment that’s been refurbished quite tastefully. The decor is farmhouse aesthetic - comfortable and clean. No plumbing issues. The bed/mattress too was conducive to a good night’s deep slumber. The surrounds of the inn are both open and woodsy with a welcoming atmosphere both inside and out. There are hens, and a rooster with a rather robust pair of lungs in him. Erica and Mike, and Paul, were friendly and made our stay memorable. In case, plant-based food matters to you, no worries here on that score. We were served delicious meals which I assure you is a rarity - for traveling vegans in any establishment - especially in a place where one is lodging.

Erika hosted our family for a wedding weekend, and everything was perfect! The inn is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is yummy! The bridesmaids were welcome to take over the front room for hair and make up, while Erika prepared special snacks for them. We couldn’t have asked for better!

This is a delightful property to stay at. The owners are welcoming and attentive to every detail. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, with very comfy beds. Breakfast is a real event with home made, home sourced fresh eggs and ingredients. Try the home made maple syrup- amazing! Very convenient for Squam Lakes, the Kanc and exploring upper New Hampshire. Fabulous!
