This place had a line out the door when I went on mid-day on a Saturday. The name of the bakery suggests that the offerings are decadent in regards to sugar. I patiently waited in line about 15 minutes and ordered a frosted sugar cookie and a buckeye with a chai latte and sat at the counter to enjoy them. My only complaint was a bit too much salt in the buckeye compared to what I am used to. (Probably salted peanut butter, which some might like, but I prefer not to taste salt). But I enjoyed it all so much that it still deserves five stars. Perfect place to treat yourself to a sweet or pick something out for someone as a gift. Cash register pay station is fun!

Great selection of coffees and teas and fresh pastries. Very vintage feel, I could hang out all morning at the place, munch on pastries and just people watch!

Devil’s Food Bakery, in the Wash Park neighborhood, has so many delicious bakery treats available. I didn’t see any gluten-free options, but that didn’t stop me from getting treats for the family. My craft coffee - mocha - was tasty and delicious. And, I absolutely loved the dated architecture, shelves, heaters, and fixtures inside. The place has such a wonderful, vintage personality. The decor and all the treats make me want to come back. The shop has a variety of merchandise for sale. The Café is woman-owned. Street parking is available. Complimentary wi-fi is also available.

My go to spot for coffee and pastries! Super cute shop with lots of yummy options. There is always a line but it’s well worth it, always!

Not just a Bakery! Had the most delicious breakfast with wonderful service! Beautiful, quaint outside patio area is available for seating. That’s where I will sit next time! Be sure to enjoy breakfast out at this wonderful eatery!

Excellent cakes, tarts, and cookies. Butterscotch tarts are the best. The Chocolate tarts are like mini french silk pies. Espresso butter cream is delicious and melts in your mouth. The booze soaked cake reminded me of a wonderful french bakery that closed years ago. Best sugar cookies around Denver this far. Perfectly soft and chewy center with crispy exterior. Love that you can pre-order for a party 🥳. The walnut croissant is delicious and perfectly textured too!

Had the BEST PIE I’ve ever eaten from here. I ordered the blueberry + sour cream pie and was not disappointed. Everyone who tried it said it was the best pie they have ever had. I wish I could give 10 stars!

Came here on a trip to Denver and ordered a variety of pastries, and every single one was amazing. We ordered the German chocolate mousse cake, the key lime tart, the old fashioned donuts, and a small Devil’s Food chocolate Bundt cake. Not a single dud in the bunch, literally every single one was super delicious. Kind and friendly staff, in a lovely part of town. Will be returning!

This place has a nice atmosphere and a good array of seating. There’s almost too many options of food to choose from or all looks so good! Good location, parking isn’t so bad on the streets around the corner. Cool decorations and nice staff even though there seemed to be a constant flow of people coming through the doors the whole time. Will be back!

I pickup for a client, cashier was super nice, esp since they're so busy(hard to come by these days), The guy that handed me my two hot drinks to go with no lids, no carrier. I asked where the lids were and he looked at me like I should have known. I said I've never been here and he just looked behind me. I guess to point me in the right direction? Anyway, my client really enjoys this place.
