Wow! I can’t believe what I just experienced. The front desk was out of this world crazy. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but I sure did record a video of him. Just moved my daughter and friend into Rust college. We drove from Minneapolis. We had been in the car for 14 hours. My booking was thru Expedia for a 2 queen room ( I later found the reservation proving this). So upon checking in I was told that I booked one queen room but I could upgrade to 2 queen room for an additional 25 bucks. I didn’t complain and I paid. My card was charged 3 times for this room upgrade. I asked about the pool and I was told that it was kept locked. I mentioned that we wanted to swim immediately. The front desk went to open it and watched us very closely as we walked into our room. Our college daughter and her friend came with. We were about to go swim when the phone rang in our room. The front desk was upset that we had 2 extra people in our room. I went up front to talk to him. I was very cordial and respectful. I asked him if he was watching us and why. He immediately called me a liar and told me to get out of his hotel. I was blown away. My daughter wasn’t staying in our room but just visiting after a long day. She was going back to her dorm. I continued to explain that my daughter and her friend were not staying in our room, just merely visiting after a long day. He said that it was not permitted and we were not allowed guests. He stuck to his ground that we had to leave. We left because this situation was very uncomfortable. Unbelievable actually. I hope the owner watches the camera footage of this conversation. I have a recording of this man promising me a full refund. Expedia contacted him after many calls and he said he can not issue a refund. I’m not sure if this is the owner or an employee, but don’t stay here unless you like to be watched. He is crazy!!!! Expedia is working on my refund. I have never in my life encountered such ridiculous treatment at a hotel. I’d like to note; he also asked many questions that were none of his business. At first I thought he was making small talk, but later realize he was stereotyping us and making judgement. He asked why my daughter is going to college at Rust. He said it like it was bad. It’s sad that this is the only decent hotel in Holly Springs. We ended up staying at the Super 8 in Olive Branch. 5 stars btw.

I recently stayed at a Quality Inn elsewhere and didn't have a very good experience. This location was so much better in nearly every way. I've been traveling for over 2 months and have stayed in everything from my car to the Hyatt and even Don Cesar Beach Suites on St Pete Beach. Usually you get what you pay for but I found this location to exceed expectations and was the cheapest hotel room I've paid for in probably 11 years. Great, safe location next to a 24/7 truck stop and customer service was great.

The first room we were given smelled like smoke. When we politely asked for a different room, we got one that smelled like dog and had a crack in the bathroom mirror and what looked like mold on the bathroom ceiling. There wasn't even a clock in the room. A picture had been torn off one of the walls and not replaced, and it looked like one of the fire suppression sprinklers might be broken. At one point, we were able to get into the building through one of the exterior doors without using a key card; and a door into the stairwell was wide open (until I closed it), despite being labelled "Fire Door--Keep Closed at All Times."

I’d say stay away unless you have to stay in holly springs. The lady at the counter is the only reason I give it 2 stars and not 1. I give her a 5. And location is off the highway so 5. But the room was terrible. The smell of smoke greeted us. The mirror had an 18” crack across it. The wallpaper was peeling. The hair dryer sounded like a loud annoying lint trimmer till it popped and burnt up after 30 seconds. The shower had terrible water pressure. There was a handle bar in the shower that was in the way. There were feral kittens eating garbage from under the vehicles. The beds were hard. The tv stopped working in the middle of the show. I’d say just keep driving.

I received an email from mgt thanking me for taking an online survey for this hotel. My husband and I stayed 2 nights the end of November. I don’t recall taking a survey, but for the record here’s my review. If you’re in Holly Springs this hotel is in a descent location. It’s near the highway, stores and fast food restaurants. As for the hotel, it was below average (C-), except the staff was friendly and accommodating. The lobby was acceptable, however the breakfast was skimpy. After settling in, we realized the room had an odor, I sprayed Lysol and it dissipated. The window didn’t have privacy blinds, the wall art had what appeared to be mold growing in it. The lamps were old, rusty, and dusty. The outlets weren’t charger friendly had to unplug the dusty cord on a floor lamp to charge my phone and computer. Overall, the room felt dark and dingy.

It's nice being treated like an everyday person as a hitchhiker/backpacker. Front desk was super nice and helpful. Room was clean bed was comfy. The only personal complaint is the shower didn't get hot off but again that's a personal preference. Breakfast was good too.

It's the best place to stay in Holly Springs. There's no doubt about that. The rooms and breakfast were sub-par, but you can see that they tried. Now, I do have to say that the manager, Gary, was a complete delight and handled an issue with professionalism and diligence. They just took over the property so im sure that hotel will soon catch up to Gary's management quality. Again, if you're staying in Holly Springs, this is your best choice. Main things no bugs, good people.

I stayed here when I drove to for the Ole Miss game. The room was great quality for the price. Check in process was easy. It was situated near the highway for easy access. Everything in the room was in good condition and clean.

Hotel had a musty smell to the rooms ac would cut on and off and kept the room hot at night to sleep in. The frig in the room was not keeping cool. There was no hot water just warm and it would go back and forth between hot and cold. The doors to the hotel were not kept locked at night to where anyone without a room key could just come in at anytime of the night. It's right next to a truck stop so be prepared for alot of heavy traffic all.through the night. Only good part they allowed pets...

😠 I guess you can't possibly give a zero star review. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. I booked three rooms and prepaid them for guests I had coming in out of two. The rooms were to be non-smoking. Guest #1 arrived, and the room had been smoked in. Then, light bulbs were blown in t...

😠 The nicest lady, but it was scary sketchy. Everything was sticky, tons of wandering people in the parking lot. I had my gun ready the whole night. My son and I were on a motorcycle trip we got in at 11 pm and left by 8 am. Didn’t shower, because it was nasty, slept on top of sheets and used our own...
