I gave this place three chances because I know things happen. All three times. No acknowledgement. They only wait on their regulars. Seriously. Today, I asked her if she forgot about me after a 10 minute wait at the bar. She waited on everyone at the bar, everyone coming to the bar and did not come to us. When I said something, she then proceeded to wait on the people next to me and ignored me to make a point. Needless to say I left. Not worth my money or my energy. I should have known better since it’s the third time this year I have to leave with no food because I received no acknowledgement. My money is worth just as much as your regulars lady! Wish the regulars don’t move, because if you treat your new customers like you did me, you’ll have none. Good luck!

Josh the bartender is amazing. Starts making your drink as soon as he sees you walk in. Wings are great as well. Great local watering hole for the locals.

If you live close by, this is the place to go. Devin is wonderful a bartender! He's friendly, knowledgeable, and right on time all the time. Also,Tina is an excellent barback. She's sweet, she's cool, she'll take care of you without being overbearing. In fact, the entire staff is a great mesh. The crowd is cool. It's an excellent atmosphere to relax, eat, and the prices aren't bad. You want a local pub with a great vibe? This is the place.

Great place to have a beer and eat some really great food. Had great experiences with bartenders and never any issues with my food orders.

Great place to watch a ballgame or just meetup with friends. Friendly bar staff, outdoor seating, and a really good BLT make Shakey Ray's one of my go-to places in the Holly Springs area.

Was kind of worried by some of the last reviews but definitely had a good time. Angela is awesome. Not a fancy place, I was happy about that! No wait for a Saturday dinner.

This is a great place to watch your team, eat great food, and enjoy a fun time with your family or friends. Josh is the best! My wife and I do try other places from time to time she always reminds me that Shaykey Rays has the best wings.

Food was typical pub food. Good but not amazing but I only ordered 1 plate from the menu so maybe they have 5 star pub food im not aware of. What was amazing was the atmosphere and the people running the place. So friendly and responsive. Had fun watching sports here and will definitely come here again.

This is THE BEST local spot to hang out at. Everybody TRULY knows your name and makes you feel welcome. The drinks are on point! The taco salad is massive, and I THOUGHT I'd need a to-go box, but I put a pretty good dent in it and didn't need one after all. Hey, a girl was hungry, okay!

Good atmosphere. Good service! The servers were super nice, prompt with fresh drinks. Tasted us like regulars. In town for UNC basketball. Great experience overall. Will go back. Wife had the buffalo wrap. Said it was good. Their ranch was amazing! Went well with the fresh made house chips.

Randomly ended up here for drinks on a Saturday night and it did not disappoint. They had a great live band playing, people dancing, and good drinks. Casual and welcoming atmosphere. Quickly made friends with the people, I’m assuming mostly local community.

Not a good imitation of the Rochester "garbage plate". No homefries (just crummy french fries) or baked beams and food was all mixed together, not layered like the original. We asked for hot dogs instead of hamburger and that seemed like a big deal. 2 small hot dogs were cut up and mixed in - ugh....may give place one more try for the beef on wick.

Nice little neighborhood bar but the one bartender doesn't have much personality. I think she's probably good at bringing drinks but don't expect any happiness or even friendliness. 😞 It's a bummer because this place could be fun.

I'm so sad to say this but Shakey Ray's changed instantly when new staff was brought in very recently. The chili is not the same, the fries taste like Food Lions frozen fries. I tried one more time today.. They used to have the best fries! All prices increased immediately. Lastly, the atmosphere is changing.

Apps were really tasty, we got nachos and cheese sticks. The chilli on the nachos was so good, I’d might order a cup next time. The cheese on them really stood out too, really creamy like queso. Got the roast sandwich and the cheesesteak. House chips were scrumptious. I got a Yuengling, and it was delicious, it’d been awhile since I had it last, I was very happy the waitress suggested it. I wish they had a draft list printed available (difficult to see tap handles when the bar is full) and maybe a wider selection of crafts. Service slow at times but all was fine, everyone was very kind. Love that the kitchen is open late, will definitely be back to try more.

This is a great little bar/tavern. Really good food and a friendly wait staff. It was a live music Friday night, so a little crowded, which caused the wait staff to play catch up when I first arrived. But I will definitely go back again

One of our favorite places to grab wings in town. The rest of their menu has never disappointed either, and the staff is super nice as well. If you're looking for laid back sports bar with a great menu check this place out.

One of the best hometown Restaurant/Bars I've been too. Specifically, it's the staff and patrons of this establishment that make it great. The building is in a convient location of a corner suite in a generic shopping center, which btw Holly Springs is modern/nice. They do have outdoor seating and dart boards.

We just moved to the area from upstate NY. We all ordered wings and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were. We all got a different flavor- honey BBQ, mild and medium. All were delicious served with lots of blue cheese and celery/carrots. It is a VERY casual atmosphere. But once you sit at a table of your choice a very friendly server takes care of you. We felt right at home and so happy that as a new local we have found a really sweet go to place! Thanks Shakey Ray's Tavern.

I wish I took a picture of the food. The food is awesome!!!!! I had the Shakey Rays Burger; absolutely delicious. The fries were a little on the salty side but the burger was on point and cooked to a T.

Had the Reuben and tots. Very good. Has a neighborhood bar feel.

Bartender/service was great. Definitely an upgrade from what the place was. Wings were good , will ask for extra crispy next time.
