Art museum showcasing the Broad family collection. You have to make ticket reservations online in advance; note that the general admission ticket is separate from the infinity room tickets, so you need to make sure you select both things when reserving tickets. The infinity room tickets go fast, so you need to make them at least a month in advance. There’s a parking lot but it’s $17 for three hours; you can try your luck at city lot instead for $9/$10. Tickets are free but they do have special exhibitions which are paid-admission. Masks were encouraged but not required when we went. No food or beverages allowed. Backpacks need to be worn in front of your body. Some of the art was not kid-friendly, and there are warning signs indicating such. There are restrooms on the second level. You take the escalator up to the third floor and work your way around. You can get a peek at storage while taking the stairs down to the second/first level. Overall, it’s a really fun way to spend a couple of hours to a full day looking at an eclectic mix of art.

Parking is easy and $17 all day on the weekends. You will need to request your tickets online. Masks are required and vaccinations cards are also checked. The museum architecture is really cool. If you do not like art don’t waste your time going here. The restrooms are nice and clean. Would not recommend taking young children here.

This is a nice pop art museum in downtown LA. The tickets are free, but you need to reserve them online. The infinity mirror exhibit requires a different ticket, but also free. We came here last minute and could only secure the general admission. It's about 1.5 to 2 hours of leisurely walking with plenty of places to rest if you choose to do so. The parking is right under the museum and costs $17 (as of 2/6/24) for three hours and you will need your validate your ticket right inside of the exit door. Note: you can check out the Miseum of Contemporary Art right across the street. It’s a bit smaller than the Broad, but for three hours of parking, you have enough time to see both very nice contemporary art museums.

What a great modern art museum and in such a cool building. We got tickets for general admission + the infinity room about 3 weeks ahead of time, for free. You just have to remember to check at 10am on the last Wednesday of the month. The tickets for the infinity room are timed but we showed up about an hour early and had time to go through the entire third floor and get in line for the infinity room, getting us to the front of the line at exactly our ticket time. We then went through the first floor room in about 15min. We loved the infinity rooms even if you only get 1min. The third floor rooms were more interesting than downstairs with larger pieces. The building itself is great, with lots of cool dark concrete stairways. We spent about 90min here.

Free Admission!! Get tickets online. Easy process, just need to choose a time slot. Great place to visit, had a few Andy Warhol. There was one exhibit that showed a film that is not recommended for children.. You do have to pay for parking, I parked like a block away for $10 all day (Sunday) parking.

Visited this in June 2023. Place is famous for its great masterpieces and infinite mirror. They are very strict with the timing so I suggest you to book an appointment in advance and make it to right time. We really had good time seeing all the arts and creativity. The parking is complimentary if you have booked the visit with them and you need to get it reimbursed/tagged before heading back to parking lot. There are many nearby attractions like vintage cable cars. The skyline 🏙️ from this place is really impressive.

Fantastic museum with fantastic pieces and ongoing expositions. Worth every second. For all ages. For all people, even those who are not “art lovers”, will have fun and enjoy. Rooms are wide and pieces very well organized. Staff inside the museum is super friendly - from the store, not so much. By the way, store should be bigger. Right now Keith Haring’s is a must go.

Contemporary art museum with a lot of amazing artworks on display. While I’m not an art person, the notes accompanying the artwork are interesting and really gets you thinking. Even the elevator and stairs are so artistic! Entry is free but you need to book zero cost ticket on their website.

The museum has some beautiful art and I love that they give a little gift if you find all the items on the app. The employees were really friendly and helpful. I liked that they were really strict of wearing the mask all the time while inside.

Excellent modern museum. It has some of the best collections I have e ever visited in an art museum. It is just amazing to view Warhol and Liechtenstein in one place. If one is visiting LA, they need to make the time and visit this place. They would not regret the time, one also need to book their time slot online to enter the place.

Parking is $17 with voucher. Free entry, you can sign up online or at the door they have a QR code. I wouldn’t recommend being a backpack or large bag you have to take it off and wear it ok your chest or hold it. Good art pieces and friendly staff and the parking attending were very helpful as well. You can leave your car and go explore to the grand central market down the street.

This is a fantastic art museum! We went to see the intriguing infinity room, a room made of mirrors with colored LED lights hanging from the ceiling at various heights. The effect leaves you feeling like floating in space with ghost images of yourself floating around in all directions. Time in the room is very limited, only 1 minute per group which is far from enough time to fully absorb the wonder of it all. Following the delight of the infinity room we explored the third floor gallery, home to such greats as Liechtenstein and Warhol. As with most art, some was very appealing, some appalling, and some awesome. One room was adults only due to the graphic nature of the art, mostly depicting people of color. I highly recommend visiting the Broad for the experience available in the Infinity Room.

There were many variety of works by artists who are said to be the most famous these days, and there were also friendly staffs. Actually, I’m not good at art but love to study, to see, to do ❤️ so I could really enjoyed the museum. I really appreciate it. * Parking fee was $17 for 3hours.

Coolest free museum I've ever seen! You do need to get your tickets before on their website but it's easy and free. Paid $17 for parking which was great but the only downside is that they were having people double park and some people weren't able to get out of their spots when they were leaving. The museum has lots to look at and is so unique. Highly recommend!

I'm not usually a fan of art museums because its pretty hard for me to understand the creative vision. However, this one in particular was all over my Instagram feed, and it looked great. The most popular attraction is the Mirror Room Exhibit. Entry is free into the museum and the mirror exhibit, but you have to reserve your tickets on the museum website about a month in advance, and there are reservation options with and without the mirror room. There is about a 30 minute wait to get into the mirror room, and you only get to be in there for 1 min. That one minute is absolutely worth the wait, since the room is beautifully lit up. Great place to take pictures. Other places to get cute pictures is next to the giant metal balloon dog, and the oversized dining table. It takes about an hour to see the whole museum not including the wait time for the mirror room. Its a great display of modern art for people who love art and also for those that don't really understand it. There are also some other paid exhibits that require separate tickets on the website, but I did not see any of those.

very suggestive place, characterized by futuristic and very particular architectures, almost unique. the structure hosts important contemporary exhibitions and the staff is very kind and qualified. ideal to spend at least 2 hours to appreciate evolved paintings, technologies and sculptures. parking spaces everywhere for those who want to travel by public transport. in the area you can also find excellent dining options and good Italian cuisine, with Italian espresso, and it's not a small thing. recommended!

The way the infrastructure of the honeycomb design on the outside of the building let’s the light in is so cool to see from inside. It’s the best way I’ve seen diverted light in a museum. I’m always in Awe when I visit even the general area. For something like their Soul of a Nation special exhibitions, they are offering days of the week to view it for free. And that’s pretty sweet.

Los Angeles has been home to The BROAD for 5 years now. Anyone who has an appreciation for modern art or architecture should have visited twice already. Tho surprisingly many have not visited yet. Well besides its bold unapologetic art pieces. This museum also provokes thought and offer insight into topics both art and human related. Which helps us better understand the artists and their work and the times in which we live. A sophisticated yet very accessible atmosphere fostering an appreciation for art and for artist maybe even for your first time.

We booked tickets the morning of. They are free reservation tickets but I recommend getting them in advance because I believe they do "sell out". Firstly, the architecture of this building is incredible. The building itself is a work of art and was mind blowing just walking through the entrance. The art pieces are fascinating as well and so entertaining to look at and gain some inspiration from. It was not too crowded and was pretty easy to check everything out quickly. The exhibit is not huge and can most likely be looked through in about an hour. I highly recommend checking out The Broad as it is in a great spot of DTLA and has some iconic pieces.

Likely my favorite art museum that I've been to, actually creates a great experience with a fun vibe, everyone is bound to find at least one section that piques their interest. Good size too. Art fans could probably spend 3 hours here, but even if you don't love art it's gotta be 30 minutes minimum.

Large and interesting collection of art pieces created from very well known names. Great to see in person. Tickets are free to see the third floor alongside 30/40 min wait on the weekend. Tickets can be booked online but walk ins are allowed too. The museum also contains a small store to buy items.

The Broad was a magnificent artistic landmark. A terrific way to spend the time in the center of Los Angeles. The museum exhibits both contemporary and traditional art. It is extremely advised. The Infinity Mirror room is also complimentary, although it requires a separate reservation. Because the Infinity room has a limited capacity, booking in advance is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

LOVE! I greatly enjoy visiting this museum and seeing the great variety of pieces here. Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein are lifetime favorites and I am so glad they have exhibits here at this museum. Fantastic spot to spend an hour or so on weekends or week days.

I went to the art walk as a requirement for my philosophy class and I really enjoyed it. There is a nice variety of street art as well as 3 art exhibits in the area so that was very nice. The food was wonderful. There was a variety of food trucks so my friend and I just got a little taste of everything. The atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back.

I first become aware of this museum through a East West Bank calendar. I came along with a few friends because they want to see The Disney Concert Hall. I have to say that I love, love, love this museum! The museum architecture itself was interesting and distinct among the high raises. It was designed specifically as a museum with the controllable window, high lighting. Art collections is impressive! Check out the storage room through the windows by the staircase. Contemporary arts is intriguing and provocative! The imagination and creativity of the artists are impressive! Do all the research and reservation to maximize your experience. Plan out your day. We only planned to see the free exhibit so we stayed about a couple hours. Wait time was about 20-30mins on a Friday late afternoon without reservation. For sure will return to see the mirror room and other exhibits.

If you want to make it to the Yayoi Kusama infinity mirror room get there early and line up inside the museum to your right they have an iPad where you have to write your name down for the waitlist after 1pm is too late for it. The museum was so good! There is a bit of waiting before entering the museum (1 hour) and there is a separate queue of 15 min for the famous infinity room, which I recommend! Your 45 seconds alone in this room are so magical this is a feeling I would never forget. Plus, the top floor is free, and you have a lot of different contemporary pieces of art, I'm sure you'll find something interesting to look at

We were invited to this museum from the locals! It was a great museum for our family. Our family size was 10 that day and the age range was from 8 years old to 70 years old and in between. Everyone found something they could enjoy in the museum. Each floor had different offerings and exhibits. The kids loved the big table the adults enjoyed each exhibit.

Free entry. Parking is $17 only AFTER you “validate” your parking ticket at the museum, otherwise it’s $27 or so. Also, parking is right next to the museum. I didn’t see any signs for parking structure so got a little lost, but it’s right next to the museum. 2 Floors to check out and a gift shop. If you LOVE art…….. this is your HAPPY place! From exteriors, to the interiors, from exhibits, to the offices……EVERYTHING IS ART over here! A MUST-SEE for all the art lovers out there.

This museum is awesome. It is easy to find parking and they have great signage. The outside of the building as a textured veil and inside has rounded edges that look organic. The staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the gift shop prices are double other museums in the area. But it is hard to complain about a free museum. We went in a weekend and it was busy but everything moved smoothly.

Booked free tickets a month in advance, especially for the infinity mirror room- you get one minute for your whole party of up to 4 people. Even with a party of 2, it felt difficult to enjoy the room and we waited 15-20 minutes to get to the front of the line. The rest of the museum was 2 floors, and had a beautiful exhibition overall, with a lot of variety in artwork. Since it’s free, I would recommend checking it out, I had a lot of fun.

The Broad is a local LA gallery that is free to enter. You do need to book the free tickets online first of all and display the QR code on your phone to get in. There are special exhibitions which you will need to pay to access and sell out fast. The most notable artwork on display is the Balloon Dog (Blue) created by Jeff Koons.

a family friendly art museum with an impressive collection and marvelous staff members. visited with elementary school children and the kids really enjoyed the infinity room. Art is shown openly and not in cases but the staff members were friendly when reminding children they were not to touch anything. Multiple staff members also encouraged the kids I was with to look at the pieces from different angles and asked thought provoking questions. All the lines move very quickly, restroom was accessible and had easy paid parking.

A gem of an art museum that is more or less a storage facility for the massive BROAD COLLECTION. Just a small portion of the collection is on display at a time but there are some magnificent pieces to explore. Did I mention that it’s free? To get tickets just go online and select your time slot. The whole thing will take you about an hour so it’s a great way to have lunch and do a little adventure in downtown LA while you’re in town.

Love this museum! Everything from the architecture, to the gift shop, to of course the art is top tier. The second floor hosts their permanent collection and first floor will occasionally have special (usually requiring a separate ticket) exhibitions. If you’re keen on visiting the infinity room, make sure to reserve tickets far in advance. And once you’re there, if you want a picture, get your phone ready because you have 1 minute.

What an amazing art resource to have in your city! And it's free!!! We had a delightful time walking through all of the art as well as checking out the Mirror Room exhibit. If you're in LA it's definitely worth your time. We spent about 2.5 hours to leisurely view all of the 3rd floor artworks (the Mirror Room is only viewed in 50 - 60 second increments). Thanks Eli & Edye for your commitment to modern art@

The art museum features a lot of contemporary art pieces that is abstract, geometric, escapism, concrete art, et al. from famous artists which the curator told me the art pieces do get rotated out once every 6-8 weeks, meaning you can come back to visit this museum multiple times. It took about an hour no more than two to tour the whole museum and the Infinity Room by the polka dot queen, Yayoi Kusama, where they allow you 60 secs per person to be in the room. It is required to have reservation to go in individually otherwise you will have to go in with your group. Reserve your free tickets online: one for the museum one for the Infinity Room and lastly, the parking is the only thing you'd have to pay.

There’s part of the museum where you have to pay, but just checking out the free exhibits was worth it too. It’ll take you roughly about 30minutes to an hour to go around but definitely longer if you’re going to read the every description of the artworks. The humongous dining table was really fun to see. A good place to kill time if you’ve seen the other touristy places in LA.

This past September 2023 we had the opportunity to attend “Art Is For Everyone” - Keith Haring. As you entered the exhibition you were greeted visually by videos of the artist at work. The soundtrack is provided via vintage mixtapes of D.J. friends of the artist. This expansive exhibition included video, sculpture and paintings. These were just a few of the artists mediums that were showcased. Works represented spanned from late 1970’s - 1988. My favorite piece of the show was one of the large painted canvas tarps which depicts two of his iconic characters with hands raised in front of a large red heart. There was a quote from the artist in a looped video recording of Charles Osgood interview from CBS News in 1982 which perfectly captures the exhibition’s message, “You don't have to know anything about art to appreciate it," Haring says in the clip. "There aren't any hidden secrets or things that you're supposed to understand." -Keith Haring

I really liked their motto free art for everyone. General admission is free. Waited for about 5 min. The collection was great. Mostly modern artists' works. We took about 2 hrs to look around. You can take longer. The building was also a piece of art. Special exhibition requires admission fee. Some you have to sign up before. Loved it. Great place to appreciate art in LA.

The Broad is one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. It’s art inspires so many people and it’s a place where people of all ages can go and everyone will get a different perspective. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The infinity room has a waiting list that is worth the wait. get wait listed then walk around the museum or get lunch and plan to come back for the infinity room. Simply nothing negative to say about this museum. Did I mention it’s free?

Had a fun time bringing the kids here. Took some pretty cool pictures, had some street bacon wraps and walked around for a bit. Great place to visit for a family night or on a date. The line could get kinda long so I would suggest buying the tickets online before. Two separate lines when showing up. The one with pre-tickets is short n really fast. and the long line for people trying to buy tickets n get in.

I’m a huge fan of art museums, especially contemporary and modern art. I love the fact that the Broad is free (just make sure to book ticket reservations in advance). I came here with a couple friends for an afternoon and was really surprised with how cool the space and pieces were. I won’t spend too much time explaining all of the art, but please do yourself a favor and reserve some tickets and get down here to see for yourself. Also-great space for selfies and photos!

The work here is large. You're really immersed in the art. The 1st time going, the line was long to the main infinity room. Most of the other rooms are small & the lines are short. I've been twice now & look forward a visit soon

The museum is open, and many exhibits are available. Unfortunately, the planetarium is closed. The rainforest sphere and the shake house require special reservations and a 2-4 hour wait. Sadly, not worth going during COVID. I would wait until restrictions are lifted to get the full experience.

(Translated by Google) The museum is impressive from the outside even in its location. The entrance is completely free, if you don't want to queue you can book online and they send you the tickets digitally, but if you don't do the registration there, only the places are released as people go by. The works have too much variety of contemporary artists and are well distributed throughout the museum so that you can enjoy and take photos without problems. It takes 1 to 2 hours to go through it and you can visit the temporary exhibitions on display.

When you have visitors in town The Broad is a nice place to introduce your visitors to LA. Free entry but parking can add up to $15-$20. The infinity room as I call it is super cool. The line to get in was 2 1/2 wait, just to spend 60 seconds to take pictures. 😂 we did not sit around for two hours at The Broad. We walked down to Grand Central Market walked around, have lunch, have ice cream take the Flight little train up, a one minute ride for $1 and boom it was our turn to get a chance to see the infinity room.

I love the academy of sciences but it can be a lot with the crowds if people and children. Such a beautiful place! Many familiar artists, beautiful paintings, and cool “Instagram-able” things to take pictures with! It’s so worth it! Especially because it’s free! Looking back on today, I would have definitely paid money to see it! I’m a 27 y/o male with little-to-no art experience & got so much joy out of seeing some of these paintings!! 10/10 recommend!

Though I'm not a huge fan of modern art, this collection is quite eclectic, with a good mix of "famous" artists alongside those who "should" be more known. Good explanatory texts along the art (English only) and several pieces are part of the audio tour (bring your own device and earbuds; wifi is free).

  • 5/5 Reisha D. 2 years ago on Google
One of my favorite buildings in LA. I love the collection they have in here! Worth visiting for art and architecture. Entrance is FREE(!) and timed tickets are required. Parking is quite steep so we would usually look for street parking or grab something to eat at Grand Central Market first and then walk from there.

  • 5/5 Mike R. 2 years ago on Google
They offer free tickets but you have to pre order them. However, I showed up at the last minute by myself, and they emailed me a ticket on the spot! While not a huge fan of stone of the art, there use something there for everyone.

I wanted to take a moment to send a very heartfelt thank you to Al Williams who is the Director of the Visitor Experience at the amazing museum The Broad. My girlfriend and I had tried to get in to see the museum on Sunday, 1/23/22, and unfortunately, we hadn't planned ahead to reserve tickets. We aren't that familiar with the area either, so our pre-planning as far as parking goes, left much to desire. Needless to say, we walked a good distance to get to the museum only to find that the admission tickets had already been maxed out for the day. Our hearts sank as we were really excited about seeing the contemporary art exhibits, but then this beautiful woman with a green dress came out of nowhere, walked up to us with the friendliest smile and said not to worry that she would be happy to help us out. Not only did she great us with courtesy and warmth, but she walked us up to the security gate, had two tickets emailed to me (upon proof of vaccination of course) and informed the admission clerk that we were cleared and approved to enter the museum. She turned a potentially disappointing situation into one of the most amazing experiences my girlfriend and I have had visiting a museum. Al Williams is a treasure to The Broad and I have already recommended this museum to 8 of our friends and coworkers. Thank you so much Al Williams. We really appreciated everything you did! Also please do check out The Broad, as it's one of the coolest experiences in Southern California! I highly recommend Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room "Longing For Eternity"!

We took a group with Los Angeles Fun Events to The Broad today and had an amazing time! Tickets are free, but you must get them ahead for timed entry online. The interior of the museum is really cool, it kind of looks like a cave! There is also a special infinity room exhibit which is really popular. Just know that they release those tickets for following month on the last Wednesday of the month at 10AM. Lots of very cool contemporary and modern art. The giant chairs and table, and the metallic balloon dog were two favorites. Walk across the street after and take a ride on the iconic Angels flight (it’s only $1.00!) down to Grand Central Market for some delicious food!

  • 4/5 Carlos T. 1 year ago on Google
It is an museum. They have cool art. The infinity mirror is the highlight of it. You have to sign up for it, one month before I believe. It's that popular. You can get free tickets but if you want to see the whole museum, you have to buy tickets. I recommend you seeing the whole museum.

  • 4/5 Tim A. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful range of contemporary art, including extensive Andy Warhol collection. Also, fun sculpture pieces that younger people will enjoy. General admission is free, but you must reserve a time. Special exhibits are not free. Was disappointed that the mirrored room was not open. Otherwise, a very worthwhile 2 hours.

Great experience and a ton to see! Entry was completely free! One of the exhibits I wanted to see was unfortunately rotated out. Staff was helpful and nobody rushes you! You take your time and look. My only complaint was for the parking garage as I paid online through the portal. Once I got the the gate it didn’t recognize I already paid and was charged again in total paying $34 for parking. I had no way of contacting anyone for a refund either.Bummer. Don’t pay online if you go, just pay at the gate(they take card).

Very nice museum and very interesting pieces of exhibits. Might be dated at the same time. Send them in a YouTube video from 4 years ago. Seem to be the same exhibits still in use. Still neat to visit and experience all around.

It was my first museum experience in LA and I was able to see beautiful artworks from various artists. They have some associates per gallery and they explained the back story of some art pieces to understand better the history on it. Will definitely gonna come back and get tickets for infinity room.

  • 5/5 Stayce 9 months ago on Google
The parking structure signage sucks, granted they have parking attendants everywhere, but they're a bit hard to understand. Parking is an additional cost. You might find close parking at a cheaper cost nearby tbh. It would be nice if there website displayed their hours of operation more accessible, sorta hate hunting that down. I figured I was able to get 5pm tickets because I at least had until 7pm or 8. But they close exactly at 6pm. To my surprise the people at The Broad where so nice and accommodated me and my family. We still had a great 20 minute experience, but they did reschedule us for another date. Update soon guys 😁, I didn't display the exhibit guys, because you should experience this in person.

  • 5/5 oliver j. 8 months ago on Google
Did you know that The Broad gives away free tickets every month? Check their website in the last Wednesday of each month to claim your tickets for a free visit in the upcoming month! Whether you like the art or not it's clearly a beautiful space, well laid out, plenty of room for exhibits of all sizes, from intimate to enveloping. The staff are diligent in their commitment to keeping the art safe and secure but still allow for curious people to respectfully approach various works close up to admire the details of technique and materials used. I personally love the collection as an introduction to contemporary art for anyone interested in the "broader" themes (intended) of the modern art world. Not every piece is to my taste but the cultural importance of the collections is undeniable.

  • 5/5 Armin M. 8 months ago on Google
So little is wait with reservations, if not they’re gonna let you in all the way till close time. It’s free to visit but if you’re planning to visit the exhibition it’s usually $30< not expensive. Dedicate 2-3hours out of your day for here. The parking may be tricky but they have parking that usually cost $7-15 for a few hours. I’ve visited it during Keith Haring exhibition. Check out the infinity room!! I love this museum, there’s a lot to see.

Great museum of impressionistic and pop artists and sculptors. It is housed in a beautiful building in downtown LA. Warhol, Lichtenstein and Basquiat are a few of the regular exhibits. You can get free tickets on their scheduled days from the website, so plan accordingly. Parking in the adjacent structure is expensive even with validation. Make it a half day event and sample some of the best restaurants in the area.

  • 5/5 Emily L. 7 months ago on Google
One of my favorite museums. An amazing collection of modern art featuring artists like basquiat, Liechtenstein, Warhol, and many more. Docents are super nice and will provide useful insight into the paintings!

Have you heard of galleries with stuffy old people acting like prison guards? Think again then 😀 Charming and friendly informative staff. The building is a gem with great natural light which feels like it's through Venetian blinds. Then the exhibition which is jam packed full of iconic pop art on a monumental scale in a gallery built specifically for the purpose. And it's free! What are you waiting for? Go and visit

I visited The Broad with my daughter when she visited from Washington state recently. She had come to the art museum once before but it was my first time and I loved it! All different types of contemporary art- from literary pieces to sculptures- everything was amazing! They have paintings from well known artists like Picasso and Andy Warhol along with pieces by artists I was not familiar with . You can visit The Broad for free and, although it doesn't require a reservation, I suggest making one online. When we arrived there were 2 sides sectioned off at the entrance. The side for people with reservations was clear and we were able to walk right up and go inside. The side for no reservations was backed up to the outside sidewalk. On the first floor there is also a section of art displayed but to see this part of the museum there is a fee. We didn't visit this part of The Broad but when I do go next time I'll pay the small fee to see this part as well! I recommend visiting The Broad for anyone who enjoys contemporary art. The staff were all very kind and helpful as well!

Absolutely loved this museum, especially with it being free! Advance tickets are recommended (and required for the current Infinity Mirror Room). There are numerous galleries with many awesome pieces on display. A can’t miss for any art lover in LA!

We had a lovely visit. Got there at 11. Did the mirrored souls exhibit right away, booked both the tickets online ahead of time and parked in the symphony hall across the street. We observed the art for about an hour we aren’t huge contemporary art people but still had fun! We walked to the last bookstore and had lunch at the grand central market. The most perfect day in Dtla!

  • 4/5 Jeremy W. 6 months ago on Google
Best to buy tickets in advance online to enjoy the whole experience that the museum provides. General admission was also very cool but will have to come back and buy tickets to see the special stuff. Would be cool if everyone could see everything, but I do understand business is business. We came here spontaneously while I was in town visiting a friend and definitely made some memories. The general admission line for people who didn't have reservations or tickets took us around 30 minutes to get through. Not a bad wait for the experience!

  • 5/5 Jin K. 5 months ago on Google
An interesting contemporary art museum for those who like contemporary art. A nice collection of works with a mix of funz thought provoking and even some controversial. Whether everything on display can legitimately be called art or trash really does depend on the observer's point of view, but I appreciated the variety.

  • 5/5 Minh N. 5 months ago on Google
I went on a weekday but there were still plenty of tourists visiting. I would recommend buying tickets in advance to skip the line. You can also buy it up to half an hour prior to the visit to make sure you can get in. The arts are great, a lot of information about the artists as well as some friendly staff explaining their artwork. There are some picturesque ones such as the large set of dining table and chairs, but other than that, this is more for understanding and appreciation.

  • 5/5 Fernando A. 3 months ago on Google New
The Broad Museum in LA is a cool place to see modern art. They have cool exhibits like Jean-Michael Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, the infinity mirrored room (we didn’t get tickets since the run out fast) and so many more. Getting around the museum is easy, and they've got signs that help you figure out what's what. It's not just for artsy people – there's something for everyone. To make things smoother, I suggest grabbing your tickets online in advance. This way, you won't miss out on anything, especially the popular Infinity Mirrored Room. This is a cool spot to see modern art. Plan ahead, grab your tickets online, and you're in for a good time exploring the different art they have.

The Broad houses a fantastic collection of art. It's large enough for a substantial visit, but not so large that it's overwhelming. Tickets are free and can be reserved same-day. I highly recommend a visit if you're near downtown LA.
