The room smelled like cigarettes even though it advertised as "Smoke free". Hair dryer and 2 night shelf lamps were not working. And most importantly the safe in the room was not working too and they couldn't do nothing about it- like moving me to a different room (saying that safes don't work in all the rooms). Since when is working safe is a luxury in hotels ?! Especially when it advertised as room with safe. Usually in such cases hotels at least offer safe at the front desk. The chair in my room was dirty and with stains. Bathroom Stopper wasn't working either. The bathtub was dirty. Promised breakfast wasn't available neither for FREE nor for extra pay. Wouldn't recommend to anybody. If you want cheap hotel just stay at "Motel 6" at least they don't lie. The only reason why I give them even 1 star is because of location- there are a lot of restaurants and nice stores on the plaza across the road.

This is one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Besides being conveniently close to the airport and the room being relatively clean, I wouldn't recommend staying here. I honestly thought this was a hotel instead of a motel. So much noise going on all night, I barely slept. It was all too much from the couple arguing all night to the cat crying near my door for hours. Around 8 am, I was awakened by a large pounding knock at the door. It wasn't room service, it may have been a homeless person. Plus, the front desk was kind of rude over the phone days before. I called a few times to let them know my flight got delayed but I needed to still check in after midnight. They explained the front desk would be closed and I wouldn't be able to. After a few times calling, they finally agreed to pass my information to the security guard. The whole ordeal was stressful. My suggestion, spend the extra few dollars and enjoy your time somewhere with more quality!

Arrived at the hotel for check in and they had no rooms available. Waited and they finally found something. The room is not a esthetically pleasing. But if that's not a big deal since they had the cheapest rates anyway. I know I wasn't staying in a luxury place. However the sofa bed where my kids were going to sleep was dirty. They had no sheets or comforters. No pillows. The tub did not drain so we had to shower with dirty water on our feet and ankles. They gave us ONE towel (family.of.four) The only saving grace was the employees. They really did try... but I guess the owners did not equip the place with all the needed things. Disappointed entirely. And like I said... I didn't expect an amazing luxury... but even the basics weren't there.

If I could give it a zero I would. Let me first say this place has great potential but whoever is doing the building maintenance chooses easy sloppy fixes. I checked in early the lobby and the pool area were beautiful and clean. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant as well. These were the only good things about our stay. After we parked our car the first red flag was all of the elevators operation certificates were expired! We made it up to the third floor to be welcomed by a drug addict passed out holding on to the balcony with her mouth! We squeezed by her and continued towards our room. When we opened the door it immediately reeked of mold and cigarettes. The room itself looked like it was attempted to be updated but with poor workmanship. It was painted and decorated with new tiles on the floor. When looking closer you’ll find poorly patched holes in the walls or ceilings, dirty scuffs on the walls and a room that seems to have not been cleaned just new bedding put on the bed. We were horrified. The bathroom was not clean there was still sand in the tub, the shower walls still had blue soap residue. My fiancé and I opted to not bathe for our two night stay and wash up instead due to the conditions. The ac kept the room comfortable but definitely not cool and was extremely loud. The bed was uncomfortable it was sunken in. But since we were only in town two nights for a concert and wouldn’t be spending any time in the room other to sleep we just chose to deal with it. The location was awesome super close to the airport, restaurants, shops and casino. This place could be really cute if they took there time to maintain it properly unfortunately the management chooses otherwise. Please be very cautious choosing to stay at this location, if you have ANY standards this place is NOT for you!

Great location and good pricing. Maria from housekeeping is really friendly, excellent attitude and above and beyond service. She helped me bring a chair into my room. She is much stronger than she looks!!! They have been very accommodating.

This place is a complete dump. The toilet had a sanitized wrapper on it. When we ripped it off and opened it we found an unflushed toilet. There was hair in the sink and on the bed. The nightstand and dresser was so dusty you could write in it. You can see the light coming in from outside through the door. There's people living there with giant noisy dogs that dont stop barking. The bed was the most uncomfortable nasty thing ever. You can hear all the street traffic. Yes, its cheap. If we werent exhausted and basically napping there before catching our plane we would have glady gone next store and paid 3x the price.

The location is amazing! Next to a lot of good food places and shopping centers however, you can tell that they do not clean the rooms at ALL!!! spotted hair on the bed. Walls are covered with dirt and residue! The bathtub was completely completely dirty. I did not even bother to bathe my children in that you can literally see the ring around the tub and the dirt in the grooves. The sheets were yellow spotted. It was so nasty that we had to go and buy Lysol so our kids wouldn’t catch anything! Luckily we were just staying for a night and leaving early the next day. I would never book this hotel again please adhere to this review it is not worth it. Will be speaking to the manager about this, and will be filing a complaint with DBPR!

This was the most disgusting motel I've ever been in my life. Upon arrival we were informed that there's nobody at the desk after 11:00. We got to our room, no glasses, no towels, no washcloths, no soap, no Kleenex, in a less than half of a roll of toilet paper. The bed was disgusting. We had live crabs in our room. I took pictures. No coffee pot. Ice machine was broke for 3 days. We had gone over for hurricane Ian so there was no other places to really go to. After 3 days we finally were able to move. It was horrifying. We had to go to the motel next door to get ice and coffee. No carts or anything to help move your luggage. When I asked for some glasses the next morning they wanted to know why 🤦 and on top of that they charge a $20 a day resort fee. Somebody needs to shut that dirty filthy place down.

DO NOT GO HERE! We walked into the room and roaches scattered everywhere!!!! Had to immediately find another place. The lobby looks nice but the rooms are not at all. Very dirty, mismatched furniture, not clean at all. There was garbage under the bed ( my husband took pictures) so not recommend.

Room 236... I must have had the WORST room on property 1. the toilet was not bolted to the floor. Toilet moved when you sat and got off 2. The sink faucet was loose and lifted when you tuned on faucet 3. The closet shelf was not bolted, screws loose 4 the draw handle was hanging. 5. The desk chair was old. The left arm rest was torn and peeled back 6 the lounge chair was old, dirty. 7. Grocery carts were all around the property. 8. Room was prepaid in advance, but my card was charged $20.81 FOR WHAT????

Rooms are very basic and well worn in this roadside motel. 2 star I would say. It's one of the best motel prices in the area but you get what you pay for. It was clean enough, and the tv and plumbing worked fine. A couple of prints on the wall would be nice. Close to airport and cruise terminal. Lots of parking, and fast food and restaurants ate handy walking distance.

Do not stay here… The place is disgusting… The shower is all oxidized and the bed sheets are dirty, no towels in the room and the AC is really big and noisy. Honestly recommend staying at the hotel next door that is way better and although a bit more money it is TOTALLY worth it. We had the worst experience and ended up leaving in the middle of the night and checking into the hotel next door instead because it was too gross to even sleep there.

The stay was fantastic. The grounds are lovely, the staff is kind, and the food is superb. I came here with a large group, and every aspect was perfect! He is an asset to the hotel, and I will most certainly book with him again when I return. I need to start saving so that I may stay longer and enjoy the amenities! There is much to be done. The epitome of luxury!

The first room stunk so bad of mold it was disgusting. The second room smelled fine. But, the door had to be slammed shut to close all the way. It looks like it had been forced open many times before. There were ants in the shower and sink area. There were no night tables beside the bed. So, no night light at the bedside. Don't stub your toe on the bed legs, my big toe was broke in 2 places. The thermostat doesn't work. The shades did not provide the proper privacy as they were both broken. I am a female traveling alone and this is a problem! And on top of all that, MY TOILET SEAT WAS BROKEN AND WAS NEVER FIXED! The handle was about to fall off, too. The seat was cracked in half on one side. I really don't appreciate having my backside pinched. NONE OF THIS WAS EVER REPAIRED. Not to mention the rooster crowing before 4 am and the trash truck at 4:45 am.

The staff here are very kind and super dog and kid friendly. The pool is very well maintained. It is always crystal clear and I do see a pool guy here at least once a week. Each room is unique and you cannot beat the location across from Dania Pointe. My service dog and I are genuinely very happy to be here!

The room had extreme mildew, roaches. My friends and I got really sick due to the conditions of the room. Let's not forget to mention my friend had asthma due to the mildew. This is like an extended stay, very ghetto. Never again!!! Only good thing was the pool.

The manager, Brandon Valdes is especially helpful. Front desk clerks, Tevin and Shelley are always pleasant and just ask Maria in housekeeping and she gets it done. It was a really great place to transition in, waiting for my apartment to be ready. The price was affordable. Last but not least, the overnight security, Danny is great. Thank you, you guys for everything.

Room for improvement but not bad. Comfortable, fair pricing, clean, great location. Hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, and airport. Worked for our 1 night stay before our cruise, beyond I'd say no thanks. Odd that we asked for extra towels and would have to wait for security to come in, we never received the towels. Exterior private room entry with random things sitting in walk way. I would actually give it 3.5 stars because of good inviting lobby decor and good overall customer service. However, the music needs to be more professional and universal like instrumental style, not personal selection of the staff. Beware of the additional $100 hold at check in.

Staff was friendly. That's the only good thing about this place. Paid for a king deluxe room, got 2 double beds instead. (very romantic)The front door looked like it had been kicked in so it was not very secure. Holes in the walls, outlets that don't work. It was just awful. How they get away with charging almost $200 for that dump, I will never know. Never again.

Please use this as your cautionary tale to stay far away. I also read the reviews, but I thought, it can’t possibly be that bad. I was enormously wrong. My girlfriend and I ATTEMPTED to stay here for one night, primarily due to the proximity to the airport and our next day travel arrangements. We arrived. The front door was broken and stuck halfway open. The gentleman behind us in line asked the front desk for “a white girl”. Not that he was trying to find a white girl he knew, but that his preference was a white girl. I think you see what the implication is. The second front desk agent/security guard, had to unlock a door to let us through to the main complex. We went up to the room. I am certain the room was currently occupied by someone. Bed unmade and recently vacated. A trash can overflowing with McDonald’s bags. A dripping wet washcloth hanging in the shower. We called the front desk assuming the room simply hadn’t been cleaned. No answer. So we towed all of our luggage back downstairs. We explained the situation to the security guard/front desk agent #2. He simply said “oh I see what happened. Unfortunately we’re fully occupied tonight.” No consideration to our fully paid reservation. No thoughts of simply cleaning the room so it was suitable for habitation. Just, I’m sorry we can’t accommodate you. Considering the circumstances we handled it with grace, were assured that we would be fully refunded, and said we would sit in the lobby and call an Uber. But wait, “I’m sorry I have to lock the doors now so you need to leave the building”. Literally thrown out on the street with no ability to lodge paying customers. All this before I even mention the filth and cockroaches that were visible from the moment we walked in, but the cherry on top? It’s been 5 days and I still have no refund for a hotel we were thrown out of because they couldn’t clean a room or accommodate paying guests. The State of Florida should do the public a favor and demolish this establishment straight to the ground. An empty lot would be of greater service to the public.

I started my stay a hotolos on August 28th 2023. I stayed there until November 13th 2023 because I had reconstructive surgery on my foot, and I needed to be in the area for my orthopedic surgeon. I can't tell you how wonderful the maids are here and the maintenance men. These are the people that we usually forget but they're so good and they were so good to me offering to take my trash down and asking me if I needed anything in my room when they saw that I was casted for so long. Dina was absolutely a godsend when right after surgery I had to move rooms and I'm telling you that she did that in about 15 minutes flat what a beautiful person. My thank yous go out to Kelly and Brandon and Antonio and Shelly at the front desk. The rooms here absolutely spotless clean trust me when I tell you that. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe and then having surgery it was very important that I always had a very clean room and I'm telling you I've been to all types of hotels across the country and this gets 20 Stars Plus for cleanliness. I'm now in Atlanta Georgia and I will be visiting Miami after the new year and I made them promise me they'll have a room for me when I go LOL. Again kudos to the entire staff, the hotel the location the people everything was wonderful have a happy New Year everyone and may 2024 bring everyone happiness joy and prosperity. Alba

This place is horrible. It reaks of skunk smelling weed, hookers and drug dealers abound at night, a drug deal went south outside our door and they were arguing about it. They free shuttle to/from Airport and Cruise port. It’s a lie. they advertise free Breakfast. it’s also a lie. When we called about it. They verified both. When we checked in they said check in the building next door. The building next door is a Hampton Inn which has no agreement nor association with them yet they send their guests over to eat Hampton Inn’s breakfast.

Great service, professional staff, prices are amazing, room is durable and clean. Everything I need when I visit.. next door I'd also a hotel, more up to date but stupid expensive. Hotel is close to the highway and the beach.

First person I met when I walked in was the lovely lady named Shelley. She welcomed me and gave my mom a compliment on her gray hair. She gave us a great room and I also want to let everyone know that Victor the maintenance supervisor knows his stuff. He even had patience walking behind my overweight slow dog. They cleaned the place up and it's lovely. -Rachel

Cheap place to stay compared with anything else around. Mysteriously, TV on the room turns on at night by itself, I saw a roach. Everything else was just fine.

I did think this would be a good place to stay at. As I walked in, there were two attendants at the front desk. Only one of them was greeting customers. The girl who did the greeting was very nice and even let me in a room early. The following day, I tried using the blowdryer and it started throwing smoke as if it was about to set on fire. I immediately turned it off and called the hotel (there are no phones in the room so you must call the hotel from your cell phone). The girl who answered assured me housekeeping would come up to replace the blowdryer in 5 or 10 minutes. 30 minutes went by and nothing. I called again and asked the status as my hair was soaking wet and I needed to be somewhere. She had me on hold for a long time and came back to tell me they'd be up soon. Nothing. At this point, I'm just getting ready with hair wet and all. An hour later when I'm dressed and makeup finished, I call once again, this time upset. I ask why no one has been up and that I have been waiting an hour and a half. The girl then proceeds to tell me housekeeping is busy and I should be understanding. What?? That is the wrong thing to tell a paying customer. I told her that is not right given I have been calling and waiting. She tells me they are short-staffed and that is why they are taking so long. I tell her I do not work at the hotel so I obviously would not know these things and that a customer should be notified housekeeping will take this long when they call to request something, I have things to do and people waiting on me. She does apologize, I think because she noticed how upset I was. I had been very nice up until I had to call a third time and be told I needed to be "understanding." As I was already walking out of my room, housekeeping is showing up. The lady was very nice and apologetic. Still, I had no more time to lose, so I went with hair damp. The towels felt like sandpaper. The water pressure was bad so it did take longer to shower because of it. Also, the shower had black strands of hair so it was obvious housekeeping did not do their job by cleaning the tub. The location is good because it is walking distance to Marshall's and other stores and restaurants.

Good location, close to malls and places to eat. Rooms, hallway and outdoors were dirty like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. The doors in the rooms (outdoor and bathroom door) didn’t close well, lock didn’t function properly, TV didn’t work, only 2 towels for 4 people, and shower water didn’t fully close. Cockroaches found in the hallway and rooms. After 7pm no lobby services. Thin walls and no wifi.

Scam. Booked this hotel after a cancelled flight. Got to the hotel and there’s a sign that states the lobby closed at 7. That’s not on the website anywhere. Called number on their sign repeatedly for 30 mins with no answer. Received a TEXT from that number 2 hours later saying “ Sorry was running hotel security lobby is open for check-in sorry for the inconvenience.” Meanwhile I had to get another hotel in order to sleep and catch a 5am flight home. Nobody answers the phone number listed on my confirmation email. Absolutely disgusted with this establishment.

This place is absolutely horrible. DO NOT LET THE PRICE BAMBOOZLE YOU. We have never stayed somewhere so gross. There was what looked to be pee in the corner, the shower/tub was brown it was dirty. There was loose dirt on the floor. Our friends room had a huge brown stain of what looked to be some kind of larvae on the bed and they wouldn’t give them a new room. The whole place is just disgusting. There were cockroaches in the lobby and a nice display of all the room numbers that need pest control. We were so disappointed in this place because we have stayed here multiple times in the past and recommended it to our friends this time which at this point is just embarrassing. They must have new management or a new owner because this place has gone straight to you know where. No shuttle, no pool bar that they used to have, no breakfast not even coffee makers in the room or in the lobby! But the cleanliness was the most disturbing part. They should really be shut down. And whoever this new owner or management is needs to go to a few classes on how to run a successful hotel.

please listen to all this review , don’t do my mistake. I see and read all review and I booked looking for a cheaper price I thought it’s good just to sleep and spend the night ,but seriously it’s not worth it. This hotel is miserable , Call the hotel the day before, let them know,we will check in at 1 AM. They said call the number on the door so when you arrived ,then the security will let you in ,next day we arrived at 1:30 AM call the number multiple time, No one open the door and check us in ,also three family with us have the same situation ,we stay for four hours outside. Couple family left from behind the building they already spend one night ,They said “it’s horrible experience we don’t want to stay here” many reasons they talk about it ,I left with my husband looking for a different hotel. We waste one day vacation because of this experience, ,glad my kids is not with me, never never recommend it for anybody, still I am waiting to-get my money back from them.

This place is nice and cozy. The maintenance supervisor is awesome not only that he greets you with a smile he also make sure he ask is everything working okay in the room. Both girls at the front desk is extra polite. The reviews that I've seen are not welcoming. The rooms you all were given must be the old rooms because my room had new everything. The bed and the pillows so freaking comfortable. Don't give up try the 3rd floor lol.

Terrible experience. After booking I received an email stating that if I would arrive after 11pm to make sure to call. I called the office and I was told that I was all set. After driving 3 hours and being exhausted we expected to be able to check in and go to bed. When we arrived there was a security guard who was left with my room card. (While I was grabbing my room card there were a few other families upset that the hotel had canceled their stay because they don’t have anyone at the front desk.) My husband, TWO KIDS, and I walked with all our stuff to the room and the key card did not work. I tried to call the front desk several times and no answer. My husband found the security and the guard “activated” the key card. This time my husband went to the fourth floor room to check on his own and it still didn’t work. He went back downstairs and was given a new card by the security guard and once again that card did not work. By this time it is now 12:30am and we have nothing else to be but to leave because there is no one who can help us at Hotolos. Now that I asked for a refund they will only refund me one night because you can’t make cancellations after 4pm, but I did make a cancellation I wasn’t able to access my room because the key card never worked. So please do not stay here.

This hotel is absolutely terrible, the walls are paper thin can hear everything around us, the safe in the room doesn’t even work… so we couldn’t use that AT ALL. Asked someone to come fix it he came said he’d be right back and never came back. The bed broke off of the bed frame the second we put our luggage on it, one of the lamps didn’t even work as well, the customer service/reception girls were awful as well getting us checked in. We will never come here again. The overall cleanliness of this hotel is horrendous & gross. And to top it all off as I’m writing this we just had another person try to get into our room. So we went to the door and she said they gave her a key our room since it showed vacant in their system. Please avoid this place at all costs.

This was the worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed at. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and was very beat up (holes in blankets, rubber gloves shoved in hole in wall, no shower curtain). We slept and left the first possible second we could in the morning. One positive, the bed was not uncomfortable. Spend an extra few bucks and go somewhere else.

Our wedding reception was held at the hotel. Many thanks to everyone who assisted us along the way. We spent one night in the hotel's lovely suite. We had a tasting session before the big day and it was difficult to choose because everything we tried was delicious. We were graciously provided with personalized bathrobes by the hotel.

On my first visit, I was pleasantly delighted by the general quality and diversity of amenities. Our visit was nothing more than an unplanned request for tea and scones. Scones were smaller than expected, but wow how tasty they were, service was superb, and we will absolutely return for a longer visit, maybe with an overnight stay. Excellent establishment.

Beautiful location and hotel, with attentive and kind personnel. Afternoon tea was wonderful, nicely arranged, and tasted fantastic. It brought tears to my eyes because it was so powerful... everything else was great and made my mother-in-birthday. law's Thank you to everyone of the employees, from my early inquiries to the actual day, as well as those who worked behind the scenes; you were all a credit to the hotel, so Thank You.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was just incredible. The attention to detail is unmatched and the decor is amazing. The service was absolutely impeccable - from the wedding dinner to the breakfast - I couldn’t fault it at all. The food is delicious and perfectly prepared. The rooms are sumptuous and well appointed. .
