Great service and really good sushi! I'm always skeptical because there's so much bad sushi in South Florida but this place was a total surprise! Since trying this place for lunch one day I have been coming regularly and everything we've ordered was really fresh and delicious. The waiters are friendly, polite, professional, and totally focused on doing their job well. I like to order rolls with tempura inside and they make the tempura fresh right before assembling the roll... it's mouthwatering! The atmosphere is authentic and comfortable too.

I been eating from Hiro Maru sushi since 2011 when I found them while at TY Park. I have always had consistent fresh and delicious Sushi, every time. I don't eat sushi as much as I used to (every Saturday for years) so, when I want sushi, I don't want to worry whether I will be disappointed or not. (Which happens more than I like)I have tried many sushi restaurants in the area and where I live, and there are many choices near downtown Fort Lauderdale. Today, I was craving sushi for dinner and knew where I wanted it from, Hiro Maru. Today I ordered the Mango Tango roll with salmon in place of tuna (one of my favs) & the sashimi roll (trying for the first time). I was not disappointed at all. It's really the best sushi I have had. Note: They are take out only and when I called to order, you press#1 and they will text you the link to order online. It was easy and efficient. They texted that the received my order and texted when my order was ready for pick up. In closing, it was worth the drive to satisfy my sushi craving.

Great food. Owner was super friendly, service was great. Huge menu with alot of variety/rolls and everything was very reasonably priced as well. Easily one of the best sushi restaurants I've been too.

Overnighting in FLL and ordered takeout from Hiro Maru. I must say, it does not disappoint. The presentation is beautiful. The amount of fish on both rolls I ordered were huge. Will definitely hit up this place if we come back to Florida!!

Went for lunch around 3pm and the lunch menu was still in effect. Everything was priced very well, especially for the massive size of the portions. The waiter was extremely polite, attentive, and interested in our experience. The fish texture was extremely fresh and the presentation was orderly, as well. Such an overall wonderful experience. In addition, the atmosphere was very relaxing with some soft jazz in the background and their spicy mayo was actually a little bit spicy. 😃 I’ve been meaning to go for years and finally made it. We’ll definitely be going again! (We didn’t have drinks, but they also have great drink specials depending on the day.)

First time at Hiro Maru Sushi, but not our last! From the moment upon arrival, we were promptly greeted. Friendly and clean environment and we were very pleased with the huge selection of dishes and sushi. Everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. Thank you! We shall return! :)

If I was rich, I would visit this place everyday. Worth a visit. Excellent food and friendly staff. Easily the best sushi place in the area!!! If you are reading a bad review about this place… just ignore it. I look forward getting out of work everyday just so I can go order some sushi from this place. Hiro Maru is absolutely incredible. Probably the best neighborhood sushi joint I've ever been to in Florida. The nigiri pieces are huge, the rolls are fresh and the service is awesome. No need to go out and spend 100's of dollars on fancy Miami or Ft Lauderdale sushi when places like Hiro Maru exist! We had the spicy rainbow roll (left center), surf and surf roll (middle center), Sashimi roll (top left), ahi tuna blocks (top right) and a classic tuna avocado roll (bottom right). Also had some tuna and salmon nigiri to top it off. Do not hesitate to dine in here, everything was 10/10.

Place looks cool. Take out was late over 40 min over promised timeI doubt this is acceptable. People ordering after me got their faster. But sushi was amazing. So next time let’s see if we make it faster

Food was very tasteful, the only catch is portion wasn’t good enough. We ordered chicken pad Thai, the amount of chicken was very little, I know chicken is $2/lb max, so it doesn’t hurt to be generous with it.

Great sushi with a cozy atmosphere! The service was also great and everyone was friendly. We tried the beef fried rice, salmon sushi appetizer, red dragon roll, sashimi roll and tiger roll. All were great! The rice was perfect (not too cold not too hot) and the sushi itself was very fresh. I loved how they put the rolls in a tray with the wasabi fish! It’s all super cute for a good price and great quality.

My wife and I were going to a show at hard Rock and picked this place randomly. The food was amazing. The fish jerkey, Bahama mama roll, and godzilla roll we're so flavourful and the spicy tuna (which is actually how I judge a sushi place) was spot on. I will definitely drive down from west palm to try more of their menu.

I love ordering from here, but i will say the sodium levels are pretty high, i always feel like i had a tank of salt whenever i eat from here. Still I've tried almost everything on their menu and it's always so so delicious, great sushi indeed. My favorite dish is takoyaki 👍

I think the people that gave Hiro Maru one star reviews have an ulterior motive. There is no way that anyone would think their food is bad. I’ve been a customer for 5 years. Please read the feedback on the Facebook page of Let’s Eat, South Florida. This is the most recommended sushi restaurant in the area.

Amazing food. The owner saw my daughter sitting outside. Asked if she was hungry. Fed her with No intention of charging her since she thought she was alone. I went in. Paid for her food. Ordered myself food and to be honest is one of the best Sushi restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Thank You for the great food and amazing hospitality.

I've lived here all my life and have never been here. There's no reason why, I just never gone. That changed last weekend, and I could not be happier. The food there was exactly what was needed after a long day, and the service was fantastic. I had a salmon skin hand roll and a sashimi roll plus salmon fried rice. Everything tasted great and was reasonable priced. The waiter was very attentive whenever we needed water or any other request (extra napkins, sauce, etc). They will be seeing me again!

My first time ordering sushi here and it was fantastic! I’m a vegetarian and I love the options they had. Definitely will be back, especially when I get a late night craving

I really like their sushi and we have been ordering from here for years. We live 5 minutes away. Tonight, due to some martini intake, I decided to have it delivered (though we normally pick up). DO NOT DO THIS! Two and a half HOURS later we are still waiting for delivery. I am now stone cold sober and starving. I need to find a new sushi place.

Absolutely fantastic and quick food. Prices are fair if not a steal for the quality. Recommend to anyone who’s not about the flash and all about the BANG. Personally, I prefer to eat outside rather than indoor to begin with 🤘🏽👍🏽

The absolute best. Our go-to dinner spot. Food quality is excellent & we appreciate the take-out packaging. Best miso soup. The employees are also wonderful and accommodating. :)

I was so excited to find a new restaurant having seen all the great reviews. We ordered the tempura shrimp dinner and the soba noodles with beef. The tempura didn't taste terrible. But it wasn't good either. It was heavy and I only received 5 shrimp instead of six! The tempura vegetables that accompany it were bad. There were six pieces, 5 were heavy starch like sweet potato and one piece of broccoli that had a burn mark on the coating. How does that happen, unless it's reheated? The soba noodles were discarded because they were so bad. I am not sure I've ever thrown away Japanese noodles. The salad did not have the expected delicious ginger dressing. It had super sweet ginger dressing that was not what is normally served in any Japanese restaurant I've been in. Saving money by skimping isn't a good idea in the restaurant business. Had I gotten the proper amount of food and it was delicious, I would be a devoted customer for the rest of my life. Good luck if you eat here. I won't be back.

this is the absolute best sushi restaurant to ever exist on the face of the earth. i could eat the salmon plate every day and NEVER. EVER. get tired of it. if i cant guarantee that it will be my last meal i will simply never die. raw salmon is my favorite food and i could tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this place’s is the best. kings should eat here. the president should eat here. their sushi could solve every single pressing political issue in the world right now. aliens could come down and all you would have to do is offer them Hiro Maru Sushi and there would be intergalactic peace forever.

I order from this restaurant regularly not only is it always packed with care to perfection, the food is mind blowing so fresh and tasty each and every time. Easily one of my favorite sushi spots. The menu has a great variety I definitely recommend.
