Preface:
my
family
and
I
have
been
coming
here
for
decades,
and
the
food
was
always
excellent!
So
today
I
wanted
to
take
my
wife
somewhere
on
the
water
for
lunch,
so
we
took
the
30
minute
trip
out
to
Le
Tub
and
arrived
to
an
empty
parking
lot..
strange,
this
place
has
always
been
packed
at
lunch
time?
Well,
that
can’t
be
a
good
sign..
Alas,
we
went
in
hopeful
that
it
was
just
a
little
late
into
the
lunch
hour
and
that
was
all.
We
went
in
and
were
seated
with
a
lovely
view
(spoiler
alert,
the
only
good
part
of
today’s
experience)
and
promptly
ordered.
I
ordered
the
burger
medium
with
american
cheese
and
bacon
with
no
veggies
and
a
large
fry.
My
wife
ordered
the
lobster
BLT
with
fries,
and
we
also
got
a
New
England
clam
chowder
to
share.
So,
after
30+
minutes
waiting
and
probably
10
more
tables
showing
up
our
food
finally
arrived..
well,
2/3rds
of
it,
they
completely
forgot
the
chowder..
we
were
both
so
hungry
that
I
didn’t
even
get
a
chance
to
take
pictures,
we
just
wanted
to
eat,
but
upon
arrival
the
fries
were
all
either
under
or
over
cooked,
the
bacon
on
my
burger
was
2
over
cooked
and
pathetic
slices,
and
the
burger
itself
was
much
smaller
than
it
used
to
be,
and
much
less
juicy
and
tasty.
My
wife’s
sandwich
the
lobster
was
bland,
the
bacon
overcooked,
and
the
bread
was
terrible.
They
did
finally
bring
us
out
the
chowder,
and
it
was
sour
and
acrid,
as
if
it
had
been
sitting
around
for
days..
needless
to
say
we
were
extremely
disappointed
by
our
$55
lunch
and
that
is
with
the
chowder
being
taken
off..
Oh
how
the
mighty
have
fallen,
this
used
to
be
one
of
the
tastiest
places
around,
but
they
are
now
under
new
ownership,
so
like
many
of
the
places
with
a
rich
history
down
here
that
get
taken
over
they
just
ride
the
coattails
of
their
reputation
and
sling
garbage
to
tourists
who
just
want
to
take
pictures
to
say
they
were
there..
sad.
