Please be advised that this establishment is under new ownership! For almost a year now. When it was first sold alot of the cooks stayed but, maybe all different a year later. Food is 100% not the same. I know as I was a frequent there an knew all the main people by name. Last service Food came out cold. Along with many other service issues. For those who been coming here since they were teens, the good times are OVER. this place will never be the same. Just like the Hukelau that I continue to miss I will miss coming here. It's OVER. Golden Chopsticks it is😒

LOST A CUSTOMER. Average Chinese food go there just for convenience.. the takeout girl gave a full dollar back in quarters knowing people probably just throw the spare change in the jar .. a customer probably won’t check and just throw all of it in the tip jar. Definitely won’t go back to a restaurant that tries to scam you and trick you into a tip. Get a higher paying job if you need to scam a dollar in quarters … disgusting

The food is always great here. They also have the best chicken fingers in Western MA.

I've been to MANY Chinese food restaurants. This, truly, by far, is the most delicious. Everything is always fresh.

It's a hole in the wall place in a dying plaza, but the food and service are phenomenal!

5 stars. Their soup is fresh and feels like someone made it with love. The place to eat is simple, family and kid friendly, The people and food are worth the drive, no matter the distance.

Prices are near double for door dash orders. Food ok for a cheap takeout but not worth the cost when they jack up the prices to partake in door dash. Either be transparent with prices when increasing for the convenience - plus delivery and tip. Way overpriced for food received. Cheap take out way overpriced with convenience tax

They are very courteous. Great prices on the meals. Make wonderful food and get my order right every time. I have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and I highly recommend it

I order from Bamboo house often, however today it was even better than expected. I am feeling under the weather so I ordered a small house soup, small chicken noodle soup, small chicken wonton soup and a small chicken finger for my husband. The house soup has some of the freshest vegetables and most flavorful broth. 10/10!

I have been going there since high school in 1983. Today we went with expectations of the truly consistent food quality we knew. Noticed the regular lady and family were not there. Sat down and asked for tea, was told no tea for over 2 years. Granted we were last there begining of covid 2 years ago or so. Had to ask for dry noodles, used to bring them upon seating with the tea. They brought a small sealed bag on a plate. Food arrived. Horrible fried rice, chicken fingers hard and not in the usual coating. The crab racoon were limp and a funny color and just awful. Once he brought the bill I just asked, when did this place sell and change hands? He replied almost 3 years ago, same family and cook. I replied, I am sorry but this is the worst food I have everhad. You can see the changes are not for the better and we will no longer be coming here from Westfield after 40 years. I wish then luck and we are so dissapoibted. When I think about it though, the owners must of been in there late 20's to 30's in 1983, so I guess the retired and will surely be missed. Its the same situation with China Star in Westfield? Used to be standing room only till it sold and they retired.

Food is always good. If you’re looking for some appetizing fried rice/ noodles and some Chinese dishes this is the best place to be. I always buy from them and they never disappoint. If you’re new in town or a local this is the best Chinese restaurant. Order from them and thank me later.

I went during the Lunch hour and got one of the specials, sadly, the rice was barely warm. The menu in house didn't have the correct prices for the domestic or imported beers either. Lastly, no one ever did a follow up to my table to ask how I was doing, I had to grab a to go container myself. My visit there a few years back was much better.

Ordered yesterday a Friday afternoon. The chicken fingers were large and good, the boneless spare ribs were of decent size but had very little taste it is like eating chewy paper, and the General Tso's Chicken was decent. They had a non-asian waiter, when I go to an asian restaurant I expect the staff to at least be asian. They allow paying online through the beyondmenu app so that's a plus.
