👍👍 A great historical building in Reutlingen is the local history museum. Unfortunately this is currently closed due to Corona. It is a beautiful half-timbered house with an adjacent courtyard. The inner courtyard is designed as a small park with seating and historical relics from the city of Reutlinge... People often mention museum, Reutlingen, exhibits, exhibition,

A great historical building in Reutlingen is the local history museum. Unfortunately this is currently closed due to Corona. It is a beautiful half-timbered house with an adjacent courtyard. The inner courtyard is designed as a small park with seating and historical relics from the city of Reutlingen. There is also a small chapel in the inner courtyard. The park is accessible from three sides and a sign describes it as a garden for elderly citizens. A great oasis in the middle of the old town and currently freely accessible (during opening hours). It's definitely worth taking a look.

A very great museum! We celebrated a children's birthday (dragon birthday) with a museum educator and all the kids were very enthusiastic, even the "wild boys" listened excitedly and took part. The employees are all very friendly. We always enjoy coming here.

Very nice little special exhibition on the topic of Playmobil. Very lovingly made dioramas with lots of details. Our boys were very excited. Children have free entry.

Friendly welcome. Extends over several floors. A beautiful exhibition including changing traveling and special exhibitions. Information is available on boards next to or on the display cases Dogs (including minis) are not allowed. But next to the museum is the entrance to a small park. There you can wait, relax and look at the outdoor exhibits. The park is primarily for older citizens; children are only allowed when accompanied by an adult.

Very well curated museum with friendly staff. No English description of the exhibits unfortunately, but Google Translate does the job. Free entrance and also a nice garden to relax.

A perfect place to learn history of Reutlingen, even though they don't have English description, by using Google translate I can almost understand everything.

Another great exhibition, this time “Reutlinger Bäder”. Very informative and lovingly presented. Thank you for the great work. It would be nice if there was always a catalog for the exhibition, because... There are no memories of the photography ban...

My wife and I visited the "Buy Shop Click" exhibition today and were very disappointed. The arrangement of the poor exhibits was sometimes disordered and not very interesting. We would have expected more, there were no clever details of sales rooms and lively exhibits from the 50s. There was also a lack of information about the development of purchasing power from 1950 to today. We found a few dresses and shoes to be unappealing. Many important shops in Reutlingen were missing, as were the attractive snack bars like Udo at Merkur and the hot dog house on Wilhelmstrasse, which is why many came to Reutlingen to shop. A short film would certainly have enriched the exhibition. The advertisements in the GEA with the prices at that time also caught our attention. Most of the pictures can be viewed on Bildertanz.de, which is why the ban on photography surprised us all the more. A lot could have been done better in this small area.

A shambles of exhibits. Descriptions are largely difficult to read and cannot always be assigned to the corresponding exhibits.
