So, we came here as a group and after the lunch we were still hungry because there was not enough food for everyone and the chef is bad at the calculations. Other things are quite good.

Clean location, delicious food. Declaration of vegan food would be great.

Super nicely located Hostel, within lovely 20min walking distance to town. Quiet and green area, clean like a 4 star hotel, delicious, varied breakfast&dinner and super friendly staff. Better food than I experienced in many 2 and 3 stars hotels around the world, while cleanliness tops many of them, including other hostels. Dinner dishes are simple but delicious. Highly recommending it to young people and adults, as well as families. Better organized than regular hostels, so you will never be bothered by noise during the night. Great connection to town and railway station, too. Bus stop is at 2min distance. All in all, worth the price. I stayed for 6 days here and will surely choose it again.

Rooms are very small and only suited for sleeping, but ok. If you want to do things with other people you should book an additional group room. Breakfast and dinner are nice, but nothing special.

Nice staff, good accomodations. Food could be better

The Jugenherdberg hostel was better than I expected a German hostel to be. The staff was polite and friendly and the meals were satisfactory. I stayed in a dormitory with three others, all strangers. Tha facilities were quite clean. It was a little more expensive than I would prefer.

Great place! Rooms were clean and tidy and very spacious for dorm style rooms!

Very nice jugendherberge, we came in late, but still we were able to get a hot evening meal (very good) and a nice family room with toilet/bath. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff friendly (no holiday reliefs here). The breakfast with waffles was a hit with our kids. We missed some outdoor toys for our 6 year, but thats all.

Location was nice, service was decent. Actually pretty nice trip, but i didnt like the food.

Not the best rooms but the staff was really nice and the price was quite low for being so close to the university and city center.

Room 305 possibly the smallest single room under the roof and a bad smell. Food just average when compared with other hostels in Germany.
