and
my
wife
had
the
pleasure
of
going
on
a
10
day
Sri
Lanka
tour
with
Beyond
Escapes
and
it
was
truly
an
unforgettable
experience.
From
start
to
finish,
our
guide
Dinesh
went
above
and
beyond
to
ensure
that
we
had
an
amazing
time
and
got
the
most
out
of
our
trip.
Dinesh
was
incredibly
knowledgeable
about
the
history,
culture,
and
customs
of
Sri
Lanka,
and
he
shared
this
knowledge
with
us
in
a
way
that
was
engaging
and
informative.
He
was
always
willing
to
answer
our
questions
and
provide
additional
information
about
the
places
we
visited.
We
visited
ancient
temples,
hiked
through
lush
rainforests,
went
on
a
safari
to
see
elephants
and
other
wildlife,
and
even
took
a
village
tour
in
a
traditional
Sri
Lankan
hut.
Each
day
was
filled
with
new
and
exciting
adventures,
and
Dinesh
was
always
there
to
guide
us
and
make
sure
we
were
having
fun.
Throughout
the
tour,
Dinesh
also
took
care
of
all
the
logistical
details,
such
as
transportation,
accommodations,
and
meals.
Everything
was
well-organized
and
seamless,
which
allowed
us
to
relax
and
fully
enjoy
our
vacation.
Overall,
I
highly
recommend
Beyond
Escapes
for
anyone
looking
to
explore
Sri
Lanka.
And
if
you
have
the
chance
to
tour
with
Dinesh,
I
highly
recommend
it!
He
is
an
excellent
guide
who
is
a
credit
to
the
company
and
truly
went
above
and
beyond
to
make
our
trip
unforgettable.
I
do
have
to
mention
a
couple
of
negatives
regarding
our
trip,
we
booked
through
a
UK
company
called
affordable
luxury
so
didn’t
deal
with
Beyond
escapes
directly
and
our
issues
stem
from
the
communication
between
the
two
companies.
On
the
14th
Jan
over
2
months
after
we’d
made
our
final
payment
affordable
luxury
informed
us
that
because
of
our
flight
times
we’d
need
to
pay
£80
for
an
extra
night
at
Heritance
Negombo
Hotel.
We
booked
our
entire
package
(flights,
transfers,
hotel
etc.)
through
affordable
luxury
so
that
should’ve
been
incorporated
into
the
initial
cost.
Nevertheless
we
paid
it
so
when
we
received
our
final
holiday
documents
we
were
perturbed
to
see
that
we
were
staying
at
Golden
Star
Beach
Hotel
on
our
first
night
a
3
star
hotel
where
the
most
expensive
room
we
could
see
was
£30
so
there
was
clearly
a
breakdown
in
communication
between
the
two
companies.
Golden
Star
beach
hotel
to
be
quite
honest
is
a
horrible
hotel
its
dated,
the
air
con
didn’t
work,
the
bathroom
was
dirty
and
there
were
flies
all
over
the
breakfast.
We
had
booked
this
package
specifically
because
of
the
high
quality
hotels
included,
so
as
you
can
imagine
this
was
not
the
way
we
envisioned
starting
our
honeymoon.
The
other
issue
we
had
was
the
itinerary
we
were
given
by
affordable
luxury
and
the
one
from
Beyond
Escapes
didn’t
seem
to
match
up;
the
were
things
that
we
did
that
we
would
of
opted
not
to
do
if
we’d
been
aware
of
them
before
the
day,
specifically
the
herbal
gardens
and
the
gem
store,
we
didn’t
feel
these
added
any
value
to
our
tour
and
felt
more
like
an
attempt
to
get
us
to
spend
money
on
things
we
didn’t
have
any
interest
in.
Thank
goodness
for
Dinesh,
He
saved
the
trip
as
far
as
we’re
concerned
and
I
don’t
think
any
other
guide
would’ve
been
able
to,
he
really
was
your
companies
saving
grace,
without
him
we
really
would
have
a
bad
impression
of
your
company,
his
positive
attitude
and
friendliness
really
turned
the
trip
around.
He
was
truly
exceptional
and
someone
me
and
my
wife
both
consider
a
friend.
