My dog had an emergency and I contacted the receptionist I was in tremendous pressure and i seeked her assistance She was very rude to me and was not helpful at all She knew I was at work as I told her and I was needing assistance however she continued to be very rude . From the day my pup was born I took him there for all his treatments traveling 10km one way!!!! Will never make the mistake of stepping to this place again.

Worst vet clinic ever. They don't care about our beloved pets. Service is very unprofessional. Staff make fun of our babies (pets) instead of giving proper treatments. They killed my little baby squirrel giving a vaccine. And they don't even know how to handle a squirrel. (Lack of knowledge) If you don't love animals ane please go find another job. I guess you guys might have plenty of jobs here to do rather than killing our beloved innocent animals. And this is not the first time. Horrible and disgusting 🤬 🚫🚫🚫 Strictly not recommended 🚫🚫🚫

This hospital is a scam They charged LKR 8000 for dog to just to make him vomit. My dog ate a chocolate and for the treatment they charged like crazy. And the doctor who came even not knowledgeable and very inexperienced. I asked couple of questions why they take blood from the my dog because my dog just ate the chocolate less than hour. That's why I came quickly to make him vomit. When I asked why, she said because food get digested within an hour and flows into the blood and then she gave all unnecessary treatments. Not recommending this place to anyone. After this case, when I checked my neighbor, her dog also has died even though after paying a crazy bill. They have uncleaned saline ensilage hung in the wall with old blood stain. The worst hospital!

Vets and Pets has been the place( The original location between Madiwela and Thalawathugoda Junction ) I have taken my dog for over 4 years since she was a puppy. Recently went to the new place and I was really happy about how modern and welcoming the branch was. The veterinarian and the staff were friendly and their procedures are very standard as well. Highly recommended ( both the original location and this place )

First time we took our pet to Vets & Pets and must say the service, professionalism and the set up was excellent. The doctors and the nurses and the staff were very attentive and friendly. More than anything, with the way they handled our pets, we could clearly see that they genuinely love and care about pets. It was really convenient for customers as they have a pharmacy and a pet shop set up inside the hospital itself. So, you don't really have to go to multiple places looking for stuff. Overall, we were very very happy and will surely continue to go to Vets & Pets.

I just took my dog, potatoe, for a groom last week with tishini, and I have to say it was the best experience. I’ve taken him to many other groomers before but this was by far the best. She was so gentle with him- usually my pup gets very sacred and reacts but she was very good with him. I definitely plan to keep using them for it and will even consider their boarding program next time we go away. I highly recommend this place for all your dog/cats needs. Amazing Place!

Well my story is slightly different. My dog was not well and refusing food. I took it to this place. Kept it for 2.5 days. They updated me on blood work etc and said she is making slow progress etc. When I went to bring my dog back. I was recommended Euthanasia by the doctor. They charged me 106k for 2.5 days. When I asked why they didn't tell me earlier that the dog wasn't going to make it, I was told that they follow usually try their best. In my case I would have preferred honesty. I even asked them why they continued medication and tests etc if they knew it was going to die. No one had an answer. I spoke to Dr Wathsala and the manager there Danushka, who said they would talk to the management and get back to me. This incident took place in September 22. Nobody has contacted me since and not even apologized. A complete rip off.

The place is so good and the staff is pretty friendly...they loved my dog and took care of him well... There is a ambulance if u want to take and a small car park also..u can carry your dog and cats there for everything without hesitation . It took 9000 to do 4 stichs my dogs leg. And there is a small shop that u can buy your pet needs

They stood me up twice and from dealing with their phone operator they really don't seem to care, operator wasn't polite at all when I booked and really didn't care when I was trying to find out why I was stood up. First appointment they didn't even bother to inform that they won't make it, I kept waiting and called after an hour to find out that doc had emergency surgery until further notice. Next day, they called at time of second appointment that now doctor wasn't well. I am not going to waste my time on a third attempt. Very unpleasant experience.

We had boarded our pet cat Salem for 3 months last year and when we came back our pet had generated an eye infection which was not told to us and the space where he was kept was very unhealthy, unhygienic, dark, hot with no ventilation, it also had strong odor. This led to a very complicated eye sequestrum which resulted in our cat to have surgery and he is still on eye drops. All because of negligence and improper care by the facility. We would not board our cat nor would recommend anyone to board over there.

I would recommend Vets and Pets Animal Hospital to all those who want the best treatment for their pets. Dr. Vishwa is very professional and competent. She handled my 12.5 years old German shepherd dog who had to undergo surgery with kindness, gentleness and she understood my concern and did the surgery under local anesthesia. Her assistant Mr. Asanka impressed me with his kind and gentle handling of my dog. I was never made to feel that this was just another Animal. Thank you to all at Vets and pets Animal Hospital.

Horrible customer service. As my pet was very sick we needed a pet taxi, found their number and called Vets and Pets on the 22nd of December, 2022 at 7 am. Who responded said that it is possible to send a vehicle and to call by 9 to book it. Even though we mentioned that it is urgent they said they couldn't proceed with anything as they were the emergency service and vehicles start operating at normal hours. It is problematic why they don't have taxis for the "emergency", but anyway, we followed up with three calls and each time they said that they will send the vehicle at 9. Note that our dog was in no condition to wait but there was no option so with the reassurance received, we waited. The 4th call however was answered by some lady who is not suitable to answer urgent calls. She was rude, denied that they agreed to send a vehicle, and said that who answered before were people who worked during the emergency shifts who had no idea about the vehicle availability. Sounds like a you problem? She said that the vehicles are all garaged and not in working conditions. Shouldn't this have been informed way earlier? Have to wonder what an emergency shift does if not address emergencies like we were in and what an emergency service is without taxis to answer emergencies. The time (almost two hours) we wasted waiting for their response worsened my dog's condition. Fortunately we were able to find a place and secure his life. Extremely disappointed. Do NOT recommend.

One stop shop for your pets veterinary needs, as well as wellness goods, food items, and other products to pamper your pet. Visited place since now I do have a German Shepherd dog, who loves to play with a toy which was given to him by his first owner, my nephew who is not in the country. Had to go in search of the very same, given that the toy broke. Visited the place and I not only bought the toy ended up buying a raw hide, which the dog is happy chewing on. The staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting once again if I do need anything to do with the dog. November 27, 2022 Whilst I did initially give a 5 star rating, today I am going to lower the raging, given the most displeasure I had with my last visit to the place. I did have an incident with the dog that I am taking care of somehow managing to pull a packet of poison that was kept away from him, and had bitten it all. With the fear of his life, i did rush to the place since it was the closes and the only one to be open at the time I did go (around 10:00 pm). However the most unexpected was the fact that the member who opened the promptly informed that if I am to get the dog examined we need to pay Rs. 10,000/= for consultation alone, and any medicines the cost would be above this, and only if I am in agreement that they would check the dog. However between this I did managed to speak to the veterinarian who have been taking care of the dog, and managed to resolve the matter at no cost what so ever other than a bit of fuel and cost of a telephone call. Sad how the costs have been done and how peoples love for an animal is misused to ear money.

Today was first time we went there. We took one of my cats for a checkup. Before we went we gave them a call to make an appointment. The person who answered said there is no need for that & they have enough doctors. When we got there the person at reception told us to wait around 30 minutes because doctors are giving treatment to other pets. We sat at dog waiting area since it was our first time. Nobody told us there is a different section for cats on the upper floor. We waited almost 2 hours and no doctor was assigned to check our pet. After two hours a doctor came and asked us to come the upstairs. That’s when we got to know there is a different section for cats. The doctor’s name was Isuru and she is a nice and kind person. Also the boy who came to help was good. Doctor Isuri took care of everything and suggested us everything that we have to check of our cats. We did lot of blood tests and results came very quickly. Also our cat’s ear wax got cleaned and she has done it very smoothly. We are super impressed about the vet Isuri. She’s a professional. But as first time visitors we are not happy about wasting two hours there. That’s why we called for an appointment. Also our cat was very afraid before the checkups because of the barking sounds of dogs. At least they could have asked us to go upstairs because it was our first time we came here. We’ll come there again only because the doctor did a nice job today. Hope you give instructions to your reception people to improve this.

They will kill your beloved pets, avoid if you truly love your pet. Be prepared to spend around 110, 000 lkr for less than 24 hours at this place. Probably the worst experience Iv had in my whole life time. Very negligent and inexperienced doctors.

False charges are being charged. Due to internet problem of these people, they are charging more money. The doctor does not face. The workers are just petting the animals. Amazing scam. The best care I have ever seen in a Pet Hospital so far... It was so touching to see my pooch be shown the love and care that we would show him at home... He had to undergo multiple surgeries and was hospitalised for 3 days and the care never lacked... They made him feel totally at home and had round the clock care... They even made us feel totally comfortable and at home and is refreshing when your mind can be in a very stressful place. I loved the experience and won't be taking my pets anywhere else...
