They are only open until 230. We went around 1030 and only had to wait 15 min. I like the atmosphere and we sat upstairs this time. They are reasonably priced if you would like a quality and tasty breakfast. I definitely recommend it. I've been several times and haven't been disappointed yet!

This place is so good, I would come back here if I'm ever in town again. I ordered the "Redneck" Benny with sausage gravy and a biscuit as a side (wanted to try the biscuit with all the toppings). The Eggs Benedict was delicious and filling. The side biscuit half was good plain AND the other with butter and peach jam was even better. The OJ is fresh squeezed and you can 100% tell the difference.

This was my first time visiting BBB, and it was very enjoyable. We were set upstairs, and our waitress came over within a few minutes to take our order. I ordered the steak and eggs with a biscuit and grits. My mother ordered the BLT and added cheese and a fried egg. My wife ordered the Big Bad Breakfast. The food was good and our waitress was super nice. Overall, it was a great experience! We will definitely give BBB another try the next time we are in Hoover.

We have eaten here twice now and this place is top notch! The service has been excellent... Very attentive. The FOOD is amazing! My husband has the Breakfast Crumble w/fried eggs and it was incredible. My daughter had the Huevos Rancheros Grit Bowl with a few subtractions/substitutions. I had KeKe's Breakfast Wrap. The food is well seasoned and has wonderful ingredients. Every dish came to the table hot and delicious. This is definitely a place you want to make sure you visit! We will be back!!!

The food and the service were both great. I visited this restaurant in the past and at that time the food for new was just OK. But wow, I don't know what happened, but this time around, the food was a 10/10! I had the Fried Oyster Scramble, substituting the Oyster for Fried Shrimp. #yummy

I have been to the Big Bad Breakfast restaurant on 280 but hadn’t had an opportunity to dine at the Homewood location until now. The restaurant is not well marked. If you don’t pay attention, you could literally pass it by. Unlike 280, there is no outside seating. However, there is seating upstairs with a view of the Vulcan. The menu is the same, and the creole omelet has been excellent each time I’ve ordered it. You can choose different side items, and some are an upcharge. You can have an alcoholic beverage if you prefer that over coffee. There is a limited selection of beer. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They even provided me with a cup of coffee to go!

We were lucky to find this place on our way out of Birmingham. The food was very good, well balanced and tasty. The service was friendly though not very detail oriented. Would definitely go back.
