Great place. Amazing selection and generous portions. Yes yes and yes to it all

The food is normally good but today was a HUGE disappointment and will not return. The cashier was in his feelins first off based off of interaction doing my order. Then get the food and EVERYTHING was not seasoned at all! Even the brisk that was mentioned sweet, was watered down extremely. I literally just threw out my meal halfway because I just couldn't enjoy any of it. Plus the tables and floors are completely dirty without maintenance and the fries recooked and hard. Cooks need to understand that the food needs season. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Tinley Park location. They are EXCELLENT!

A Long standing member of the Homewood Flossmoor community - Pops is a delicious place for lunch or dinner with an extensive menu & friendly atmosphere. The prices are budget friendly and the food is fresh & filling! I highly recommend coming here! <3

Missing a star.. On our order to go, both my daughter's and son-in-laws meat ball sandwiches were cold. The cheese wasn't even melted. and my family lives less than a quarter of a mile away from Pop's. Me and my wife's food was hot and very good. Customer service was very good. Overall the place was very clean, including the restrooms.

My requested char-grilled chicken sandwich was cold, and loaded with too much mayo. Not off the grill. 3 cooks behind the grill. My requested char-grilled polish was barely even steamed, and loaded with too much relish. Not a grill mark in sight...I was disappointed, this time, for Pops usually gets it right every time. I will return soon.

Second time visiting this restaurant for their gyros and the first time the food was really good. Second time, I went on a Friday evening, 30 min before closing to pick up an order. Two gyros plates that were placed sideways in a paper bag, in which all the juices from the condiments leaked out but fortunately, the food was placed in an additional plastic bag. Then too add to an eventful dinner, there were no fries in either plates.😫 I usually check my order before leaving but I knew they were closing and I relied on my previous experiance, which was pleasant. Lesson learned. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Make sure you check your order before leaving the restaurant, any restaurant.

Great italian beef sandwiches!

I love going to this place it's clean it has I saw like nine different suits at this one it was very nice they had their lunch specials I got like two soups the rice soup and the cheddar the cheddar soup Monday special. The only thing I would say is I would like somebody that's putting my food in the bag to have on gloves cuz we're still going over to understand people wash their hands but a lot of stuff still hide so the food is good. And props also have a lot of them but this one I went to I have been the three pop so far the original one I've been to was on Kedzie in the city and that's why I fell in love with their food but all of them handling the food and everything is not the same like the city they got less to no one's got more soup.

After hearing good things about this place I finally decided to try them. I ordered a double cheeseburger, it was burned bad. No thank you!

They are extremely pricey for just a sandwich, burger and salad place. I here they don’t pay their workers well which doesn’t explain why their food is so expensive. They are not really friendly either. The food is always good at least. The atmosphere of this place is always cold and uncomfortable in my opinion. It’s too open and the layout is kind of awkward. There parking lot sucks too. I think they need to rethink the layout and add some nice decorations.

I moved to Homewood in May 2022. I've gone here faithfully. I normally like the food and the service, but the last two times I ordered beef sandwich, it was dipped, even though I specified I wanted it dry. Two weeks ago, it happened again. I called immediately to complain as the sandwich was falling apart. I asked for a manager and a woman got on. I explained the situation (no apology given) she said I can comeback for a remake or for a refund. I said I did not have time because I grabbed something fast because I needed to pick my nephew up from Midway. She said, no problem. Just be sure to BRING THE SANDWICH BACK WHEN YOU RETURN. I'm like excuse me, I just told you I can't make it back today, so you want me to hold on to the sandwich? Yes! She said. I told her that was ridiculous and I wanted to speak to someone else. She put me on hold for a long time and I hung up. I did a complaint online and someone emailed me back and said they will contact the owner to have them contact me. Well, that was 2 weeks ago. There are too many other places to go to--I will not deal with terrible customer service and an owner who clearly doesn't give a damn about loyal customers. They lost me. I won't be back and will tell my friends and family to avoid this place.

Great Customer Service and the staff was very friendly. They also have a wide variety of soup to choose from. The daily specials shouldn't be over looked. Pop's also have a catering menu for any event you plan on having.

I had family coming in out of town because we have a sick person in the family and we ordered a big order 10 sandwiches and fries or onion rings peppers red sauce I'll do everything and it was perfect everything was perfect sandwiches were fantastic lot of people from out of town so this is the best beef sandwiches they've had so you made your choice but I always will come here

On this day the Italian beef meat tasted like it sat in water or something too long so that good taste was not there. I would return because it could have just been an issue that day. The cashier didn't seem enthused about taking my order for some reason. Maybe he was having a bad day. This was my first time at this location so when I'm back in town, I'll try again.

Place is filthy in the kitchen. Even the crew was very dirty and poorly groomed. First time I ever got poor quality food from a Pop’s. Floor is very slippery.. Other locations are far better.

I really love this place. It’s reasonably priced, the food actually taste good and is always fresh. It’s not my favorite, but it is my go to place for fast food in my area.

Beef was great but whoever was working the fryer around 1:30pm today, shouldn't be. I've never had fries so cold and hard. I literally couldn't eat them. Tasted exactly like if you left them on the counter overnight. Seriously that's just pure laziness. Fries must've sat there for hours. Not exaggerating when I say this...the WORST french fries I've ever had. Thanks.

Polishes are small. Tastes like hotdogs and some of the food is overcooked. French fries are good but could use more seasoning. Weekday price specials are good. Sometimes the food not so much. Service is fast but could be more courteous.

For a place with Italian Beef in its name you are expecting a phenomenal sandwich. But nah it wasn't great at all tbh like bottom-shelf meat being served here. I got the Italian Beef Combo and the sandwich itself was a decent size ngl. I asked for sweet and hot peppers and dipped... I opened it up to my surprise. I got the hot peppers but guessing these jalapeño peppers and idk what the other peppers were but they definitely weren't sweet. Either way, they didn't add anything to the sandwich to me. Even with it being dipped the beef was still hella dry. All together probably ranked towards the bottom of the worst Italian Beef ever had. 6.3.

This place is a gem. If you don't know this restaurant, you need to. The food was excellent and presented well. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

I like this restaurant BUT they always leave a requested special item off your food. Today my Chgo. hot dog was overdone in mustard and huge hot peppers n no celery salt. But I got the double pickles. The upside to the Pop's Italian Beef Rest. is they offer some good daily specials at a reasonable price. And we need those types of budgeting deals during this Pandemic and the stay at home urging by our State n USA government.

The sandwich looks cra cra. But I can't lie it taste great. Sweet!

We like this Pops, always reliable. Pro tip: keep the special requests to a minimum and always check your bag. They forget stuff, but are cool about fixing it quick.

From the first moment you step in that place the stuff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly waiters, it is a friendly restaurant to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. heavenly food, qualified chef de cuisine, modest cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Food use to be really good, now its just ok. They always forget to put items on your food that you asked for.

I've always liked pops. Good food. Only downside, I reported one of their staff was not wearing his mask to which I still haven't received any feedback about it. Other than that, really good sandwiches.
