The
Jasmine
Park
in
the
Al-Dablan
neighborhood
in
Homs
was
opened
this
evening
after
its
rehabilitation
in
cooperation
between
the
Homs
City
Council
and
the
Dandashi
Foundation.
The
rehabilitation
operations
included
planting
roses
and
trees,
restoring
green
areas,
rehabilitating
the
lake
in
the
park,
distributing
benches
and
trash
cans,
in
addition
to
lighting
the
park
by
providing
it
with
floodlights.
Youssef
Al-Dandashi
from
the
Al-Dandashi
Group,
which
contributed
to
rehabilitating
the
park,
stated
that
their
contribution
to
the
rehabilitation
process
came
with
the
aim
of
restoring
life
to
the
city
of
Homs
and
emphasizing
the
role
of
economic
activities
in
contributing
to
restoring
life
to
the
city,
noting
that
the
rehabilitation
operations
lasted
six
months.
Al-Dandashi
pointed
out
that
Al-Dablan
Park
was
chosen
due
to
its
symbolism
for
the
people
of
Homs
and
its
location
in
the
center
of
the
city,
stressing
that
the
group
will
contribute
to
more
rehabilitation
operations
in
the
future.
For
her
part,
engineer
Nadia
Ksibi,
President
of
the
Homs
City
Council,
indicated
that
the
rehabilitation
of
the
park
is
part
of
the
city
council’s
plan
to
rehabilitate
all
the
parks
in
the
city,
in
cooperation
with
economic
activities,
with
the
aim
of
restoring
the
beauty
and
splendor
of
the
city,
stressing
the
necessity
of
partnership
between
all
parties
in
order
to
advance
the
city
to
the
highest
levels.
For
his
part,
Engineer
Hassan
Al-Najjar,
Director
of
the
City
of
Homs,
stressed
that
after
the
rehabilitation
of
this
park,
other
parks
will
be
rehabilitated
that
will
contribute
to
restoring
life
to
Homs,
especially
with
the
advent
of
the
summer
season,
which
will
contribute
to
creating
a
space
for
the
city’s
people
to
gather
and
provide
an
outlet
for
them
and
their
children.
A
number
of
citizens
expressed
their
great
happiness
at
the
rehabilitation
of
the
park
due
to
the
beautiful
memories
it
represents
for
them.
Citizen
Samia
Al-Sibai
pointed
out
the
great
imprint
of
this
park
on
the
heart
of
all
the
people
of
the
city
of
Homs,
noting
that
its
rehabilitation
and
opening
today
will
reflect
positively
on
the
souls
of
all
the
people
of
Homs.
