Had the best time getting my open water at UDC. My instructors Beck & Camilla were honestly the best. Everything was very easy to understand thanks to their clear explanation. They were very patient, fun and caring which made me feel relaxed and at peace underwater. Such an amazing new experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to discover the submarine life!

I have loved my time at UDC, and haven’t heard a bad word from anyone who has learned there. Great instructors and staff, five fast dive boats means there is always space to get to the best spots on the island, a fantastic school and great equipment - its the perfect place to learn to dive, or learn how to teach diving. Will be returning in September to do my instructors course and I can’t wait!

Before coming to Utila I was debating between a few dive centers (I only came for fun dives, not to do a course) and I'm so happy I went with UDC. Their guides (especially Duncan who I dived the majority of my dives) are extremely professional, attentive and most importantly nice 😊 Their equipment and boats are very good and there's just a really fun atmosphere when you are there.

Anton is the best instructor! I got my open water certificate with zero prior scuba experience, by the end of the course I felt confident in the water even going down 18 meters. I would recommend this diving school 100%!! #1 school for a reason!

I had a fantastic experience with Utila dive center, where I took my open water scuba certificate and the corresponding freediving certificate. The instructors were good teachers and while there was room for fun, they still paid a lot of attention to safety.

Great mix of professional and fun at the same time. I felt safe with this dive shop from beginning to end. You can tell that it is a great environment by how happy and enthusiastic the staff is. I will recommend this school and shop to all who ask.

I completed my PADI open water and advanced open water at UDC with Ruth and Duncan - it was fantastic and they were fantastic! They were both very professional, knowledgable, experienced and incredibly patient. I felt very safe during the course and had so much fun along the way. I would 100% recommend UDC and if you get any choice 1000% ask for Ruth and Duncan! Yay diving!
