We had an excellent experience diving at octopus! My daughters did the open water certification and absolutely loved it. Bryce was a very thorough instructor and everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. The discover dive was perfect for me, best thing I've done on the island. Highly recommend!

My family and I went to Roatan with the intention to dive since it is well known for its large and beautiful reef. We asked around all the shops in west end. We luckily found octopus dive school which was closer to our Airbnb in Sandy Bay, but more hidden. When we walked into the shop we felt instantly welcomed by Nuria and the others that were there. The shop was really well set up/organized and it had a homey feeling. We ended up getting our open water certification with them and our instructor Virna was super informative and patient with us. My little brother was not old enough to get the certification but they were super nice to him, let him learn with us, and let him snorkel while we dove. He did a bubble maker dive with them which made him nervous at first, but Virna was really flexible and thoroughly talked him through it until he was confident and ready. He loved it! They offer really reasonable prices, are highly flexible, and we left with only positive things to say about them.

We were open water certified a week before our dive in Roatan. To say I was nervous is an understatement. I wanted to make sure that my husband and I dove with people that understood we were new, this was our first dive, and needed a bit of reassurance. I'm so very very thankful we chose Octopus Dive School. Bryce took us out on the first dive and was very patient and didn't rush me as I worked on descent and equalizing. The next day, we went with Nuria and WOW, this was an even better experience. You feel as if you are diving with family. Nuria takes safety very seriously and provided a very thorough pre-dive session. I struggled a bit with descending and remaining neutrally buoyant and she was there every step of the way, very calming and intuitively knew what I needed to become comfortable and enjoy my 2nd ever dive. My husband and I enjoyed the experience so much, we have booked our advance open water training with Nuria and Octopus Dive School. Can't really say enough good things about this school. If you are thinking of booking training, a dive, or snorkel - book with them. You will never regret it :)

This was our first time trying to scuba dive. It wasn't as easy for me as it was for my husband. I panicked more than once but our dive master Arantza is the best. She was so patient and did not give up on me or us. After three amazing days we got our open water scuba diver certification. Thanks Octobus Dive School! You guys are the best! That whole team is amazing!

My first Google review with pictures for the BEST dive shop!!! (In Roatan and in the world!) I can’t recommend this place more! My friend and I both had bad diving experiences before, injured my knee and his ear. However, these days here completely changed our idea of diving! We loved it! Everything is perfect. Big shout out to Nuria, Bryce, Martin and Captain Quinn!! Love you all and wish I’ll come back soon!

Great dive shop! Nuria was very easy to communicate with through WhatsApp and was very accommodating when our trip to Roaton was delayed due to flight cancellations. We did a family discovery dive and Bea was a great instructor and quickly helped us feel comfortable under the water. Captain Quinn had a great personality and put us on a great dive spot. My kids had a great first dive experience that they will not forget, thank you!

Octopus Dice School is amazing! The owner Nuria, instructor Alex and dive master Juan, were all so friendly and knowledgeable. The vibe here is awesome. Our girls got certified over the course of 3 days and they loved the full experience. Every location we dove was only about a 5 minute boat ride from their school and probably the best diving we’ve ever experienced. We’ll be back here again for sure!

We came with a guided tour and went through octopus dive shop. We did 13 dives, including two new certifications, a night dive, wreck dive deep dive and so much more. The owner was there the entire time, making sure everything was going well. The dive masters were absolutely amazing. Verna and Sayba were patient, and attentive. We saw a lion, fish, octopus, flamingo, tongues, lots of crab, turtles, eels, Rays, drum fish, just about everything we wanted to see.
