I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this dive shop! First off, the people (Paul, Mo and Nikhil) are genuinely nice and very fun to talk to. Secondly, but most importantly, they are extremely experienced divers who make you feel comfortable and confident in yourself, which was very important to me since I was apprehensive about diving for the first time. The personal attention you get from them, and the experience they give you is worth every penny! I saw other dive shops with hoards of divers on their boats shuffling them in and out like cattle just to make as much money as possible in a day. I would've hated that! You'd be fighting over everyone else to see things, and it wouldn't feel special. Pro Dive Roatan is all about personal experience. We saw everything from eagle rays, green sea turtles, sting rays, a moray eel, barracudas and so many other fascinating things! And we didn't have to fight over anyone to see them. We sat for as long as we wanted to just watching or slowly following the sea creatures around peacefully. Had there been 15 other people there (like with all the other dive shops) we wouldn't have been able to do that. We hadn't even planned on doing any diving while in Roatan, and ended up diving 3 times in total. That's how incredible our diving experience was with Pro Dive Roatan! You'd be making a mistake to dive with anyone else!!! And after a wonderful dive experience you get the pleasure of relaxing on their beautiful deck overlooking the ocean and chatting while you sit in the hammock chairs watching the sun set. Perfect ending to a perfect day! Can't wait to go back and get myself and my 13 yr old daughter certified with them! I wouldn't trust anyone else more!

This is one of those experiences I don't want to tell people about just so that when I return, I can have the shop to myself. I did not have any advanced booking/reservations when I walked into the shop. I ended up doing around 30 dives, some private and some with 2 or 3 other divers, including 2 night dives which were some of my favorite. My experience in Roatan would have been totally different had I not wandered into Pro Dive. I dove for 3 weeks in November with Pro Dive, and I cannot say enough about the shop. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and attentive and will help even the most nervous divers feel at ease. He truly wants everyone to have a great time diving, and it's obvious that he really enjoys being underwater. I did a few specialities while there, and Paul is a great teacher - he loves to see divers improve and feel more confident and comfortable underwater. Paul does not just check the boxes when it comes to courses and makes sure everyone genuinely understands the material before he certifies. He is also happy to help with any questions you have not related to diving (i.e. where to eat, stay, etc.) Unlike other dive shops, Pro Dive does not follow a set time to go out every day, but rather is flexible for what works for their divers. They choose the site based on divers' interest and current direction to make for the optimal experience. The guide and captain will get your equipment ready, and you will only need to hop in the boat. After the dive, hot towels and fruit will be waiting for you to enjoy on your cruise back to the dock. Customer service shines at this shop (in and out of the water), and no detail is too little for Paul and Samario to take care of - down to your choice of music playing, and Samario making sure that your fins/mask are ready for you to roll off the boat. This is truly diving your way. When diving for the day is finished, Pro Dive has a hot showers, fluffy towels, and hammocks on their deck as well as the perfectly temped beer, wifi, and phone chargers and a gorgeous view of the sunset. Unfortunately, Nik was in the UK while I was there, but I look forward to a trip back to meet him and have a video of my dives. Thank you so much Paul and Samario!

I don't write too many reviews but after experiencing this dive shop I felt compelled to do so. I've been diving for over 30 years and it's by far the best operation I’ve seen. It was my second time in Roatan, I was referred to Pro Dive Roatan by a local so I decided to check them out, so glad I did. First the owner Paul is the nicest guy and quite the accomplished diver, the dive master and the captain go out of their way to make your dive as effortless as humanly possible. Initially, the dive master went through a series of questions in regards to your equipment and dive preferences and noted it on a board. Once that’s established you don’t need to worry about a thing, just focus on your dive with zero stress, step on the boat and everything is ready to go. After the dive you can take a shower and relax in a super comfortable area with the best view. Best of all, the maximum number of divers I saw at once was 5 typically 2 to 4. Truly a first-class operation, felt I was diving with old friends, can’t wait to get back there.

My wife and I spent two weeks and 34 dives with Pro Dive Roatan and it couldn't have been a better experience. Paul was a fantastic host, his operation is tailor made for people who truly love diving. Our guide, Sam, knew the reef like the back of his hand and he took us places that continued to thrill us. Our captain, Samario, was always there to pick us up with hot facecloths and fresh fruit. A truly world-class team! There is so much to see here: spectacular walls, flats teaming with sea life, and amazing swim-throughs and caves (Bear's Den with shafts of light streaming down to illuminate schooling fish in a pitch black cave was a true highlight). Beyond the diving, Paul gave us excellent recommendations on where to stay and a comprehensive list of restaurants to visit (all of which delighted us). And of course the ice-cold beers at the end of the day while swinging in the hammock chairs was a perfect way to wind down and talk about what we experienced and learn more about the creatures we saw. If you are looking for a relaxed, professional, bespoke diving experience look no further. Pro Dive Roatan will not disappoint.

The best diving experience I've ever had! Paul was amazing. He made us all feel so comfortable and even called and stayed with us until our taxi driver arrived at the end to ensure we made it back on our cruise in time. Thomas was an excellent dive instructor. He was calming and let us take our time on each dive. He even took great pictures of us underwater with the Sea life. Definitely will be returning to pro dive in roatan!

Pro Dive Roatan is a fabulous shop! The owner Paul is incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming. Our group of seven was brought on a total of 21 dives and had the best time. I was brand new, having just completed certification. Although the others were more experienced, our dive master Sam helped me join the group seamlessly. During your dive they provide hot towels on the boat once you exit the water, a fruit snack, and water. Having my own secured locker, made storing my belongings hassle-free, even overnight. The icing on the cake is their beautiful boat dock, right on the water. They have hot showers, dry towels, and delicious hot coffee. After an amazing day of diving, nothing beats having an ice cold beer in the best hammock chair I’ve ever sat in, while looking at the ocean on a private dock, and telling stories of the adventures we had just experienced. Whether you're an experienced diver or a beginner, Pro Dive is the place to go for an unforgettable, safe, and all-around incredible diving experience in Roatan. This was not my first time diving with them, and it certainly will not be my last. I highly recommend this dive shop to everyone seeking an exceptional diving experience!

Paul, sam and samario were great. Lovely warm showers w towels and shampoo/conditioner provided, were so refreshing after our dive, and clean bathroom!! All other dive shops were booked but I’m glad I stumbled upon this one for our last minute needs. I dove and my friend came with to snorkel, they were very accommodating for this. They did not pressure me at all when I decided to skip the second dive, instead gave me great lunch recommendations. Prices are higher than other shops but worth it for a small boutique diving experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent dive spots right off the island. The boys weren’t overcrowded and everybody on our private tour had a blast. The captain and our dive master were easygoing and were friendly the whole trip. Paul, who owns the shop, was an absolute pleasure to talk to when we were ashore. Phenomenal experience overall!

Dive shop is amazing especially if you do not know how to dive or what you want to dive go to these guys they are superfantastic!!! They all absolutely put safety and fun first. If you have no set plans try it out for a day you will be presently surprised I promise ❤️ 🤗

From start to finish, an amazing experience. Nothing short of spectacular, not only are they amazing at what they do its also a very personal adventure. Great equipment, clean and well-maintained boat with a very friendly local captain. Finish your day of diving with new hot water showers too.

Top notch dive shop that works on your time. Most dive shops have set schedules to go diving but Pro Dive goes out when you want to go out. My wife and I even got some SSI certifications through Pro Dive while we were there and Paul is an excellent instructor and makes sure you know the skill and understand it. There are super comfortable hammock swings to relax in on your surface interval. As soon as you get out of the water and back on the boat there is always fresh fruit and nice hot towel waiting for you. If that's not enough they have boat jackets for you to use if needed as well. Once back to the dive shop there is a nice hot shower waiting for you. Paul and Samario (the boat captain) are great to work with. They setup and take care of all of your gear and everything can be kept in a locker right at the dive shop. If there were more than 5 stars available they would get them all.

I recently had the opportunity to do some SSI training at Pro Dive Roatán. Paul was extremely accommodating and so friendly and kind! Pro Dive is an upscale dive center and everything from the gear, to the boat and even the property is in like new condition. It was clean, organized, and very well thought out. I can highly recommend diving with Paul at Pro Dive Center.

My husband and I spent two weeks in Roatan for our honeymoon in November 2021 and spent a lot of our time diving with Pro Dive Roatan. I've dove with quite a few dive operations over the years but few can live up to Pro Dive. The quality and personal touches for the comfort and accommodation went above and beyond. Paul did a great job of giving us the flexibility we were looking for - we never felt pressured to follow a schedule like most operators in the area follow. We were able to help choose the dive sites and did a couple of night dives. Pro Dive also had a very nice area to hang out for surface intervals with hammocks, wifi, phone chargers, water, and HOT showers. To me, the best thing about Pro Dive is that they treat you like family and like the shop is home while you're there. We were welcome to hang out when we wanted, it was safe to leave gear there over the course of your trip, and we got lots of great recommendations for yummy food and great activities in the area.

Best place for scuba diving in Roatan!!! Paul (the owner) is the absolute most welcoming person you can ever meet. Sam and the crew took great care of us on our dive, and made sure you felt completely safe. We were treated with royalty- fresh fruit for when we finished our dive and hot towels. I will be coming back here to do all of my diving!
