Stayed here 14 days after coming back from Korea (HK quarantine regulations for inbound travelers). Well I'm still here, day 13, almost done. Harbourview room, quite nice (pics attached). Plenty of light to work during the day, and nice view at night to chill. Space is not huge (at least in this room) but enough to move around, lay a yoga matt etc, I'm fine as I am staying alone. I feel is right size for the price (hkd1.2k a day inc 3 meals). Clean and tidy upon checkin. The hardware is standard but good quality and well maintained. Shower works great, proper water pressure, bed is really good, working desk is not huge but decent for a laptop, wifi works well (no problem streaming the F1 race), fridge is quiet. The sofa is probably the one thing I would throw away, that burgundy fabric colour... The food is ok too (the pack is 3 meals, you can choose between a few options that change every 5 days, you can choose delivery time too). The vegetables and fruit are fresh, the produce meat and fish are good quality (frankly one of the reasons I chose this place, aside from Bonvoy points, is that if i'm gona be stuck in a room 14 days, I want to be in the hands of a trusted, experienced, chain, Marriott works as they run a few hotels in HK so I assume they do have good infrastructure, including reliable source and processing of food, standarized processes, quality control, etc. For 1 or 2 nights stay, I'm cool to try boutique chains, but not for this current type of stay). Btw the pasta and rice are not great, so would give those options a pass, or you try. Anyway, plenty of delivery options too in Uber eats, deliveroo etc if you get bored (got my coffee from feather & bone next door each morning, and a few times dessert post dinner). One thing to improve is dehumidifier noise. It is a bit loud, imo. After two days I stopped noticing it anymore, but the first day I was a bit annoyed. For the rest, the room is quiet and peaceful. Staff was helpful and everything worked well (I got some deliveries, they also found me a wine opener, always ready to help, the usual hotel stuff, in unusual times, I felt in good hands). All in all, good experience (1 more day to go).

This Courtyard was a great deal, located not far from Central and many attractions with easy access and 5-6 minute walk to the subway lines. The executive lounge offers a good resting place as the rooms are pretty small in Hong Kong. There are dozens of eateries and restaurants within 10-15 minutes of walking distance, and you can even walk to Central along the bank of Victoria Harbor. Great option for our HK stay! โ˜๏ธโ˜๏ธ

New review: Stayed for a short 4 day stay. I opted the vegetarian food option while here, and each day not enough food was supplied by the hotel. Hotel did not honour my departure time the booked for me. Called the staff multiple times and no one could tell me when I could leave. Old review: Stayed here for a 7 day quarantine. The stay itself was comfortable. The rooms are small but the furniture can be moved to suit what you need. TV video quality is poor, but had an HDMI input you can use. The bed was comfortable. The food was pretty average considering I paid for the upgraded menu. When I contacted the staff about it they were apologetic and I noticed the quality improved after that.

I am on Day 8 of my 14-day quarantine at Courtyard, and the food served by them has been shockingly disappointing - not at all what I signed up for๐Ÿคฎ The food was of a poor quality, and seldom matched description in the menu sent to guests at the enquiry / booking stage. The rice is so wet it was closer to pudding, smelly tuna, the promised fried noodles became congee, missing fish cutlet, ham steak, fried eggs - only the carbs are left. The worst part is that quarantine + jetlag are already horrible, days kind of blend into nights. I was advised to chop up days by mealtimes, so for the first few days I would check the menu and look forward to the meal that was going to come. By Day 3, the meal service disappointed me so much that I no longer got excited about the food. It was not anything to look forward to. The hotel thinks that simply because they wrote "menu items are subjected to change", after the guest has booked and paid, they can get away with serving locked-up guests whatever they can get from a third party vendor at the lowest price. The menu sent at the enquiry stage had diversity and looked delicious. If I had known I would be served congee and oatmeal every morning, I would not have booked Courtyard. When I complained to the hotel, they said their menu changed after I booked (but I never received / agreed to a revised menu), and that their staff must have "forgotten" to provide me with an updated menu at check in. It was unprofessional and I honestly could not have expected this treatment from a Marriott hotel. They offered to upgrade me to a different menu, but made no compensation for the horrible meals served for the first week. I definitely chose to stay at Courtyard because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews I saw, so I hope that my input here can help people who are looking at different options make an informed decision, lest they have inflated expectations ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Decent value, nice rooms, great service. Rooms are nice, bed was maybe a little harder than I like. Everything worked well. Breakfast was decent. Gym had enough equipment and wasn't too busy. Service was very nice. Has a lounge, but was closed by the time I arrived. Views are nice looking to the bay side.

Nice hotel with nice view. However the room had an unpleasant strong smoke smell which gets 2 marks deducted as we would expect a Marriott brand to ensure rooms are smoke free. I complained and checked 3 different rooms and they all had a heavy smell. Please enforce the smoke free policy as this will deter new guests from staying at your hotel

This is actually a 4.5 star review. Iโ€™m a long stay guest. A decent Marriot group hotel with everything a 4 stars should offer. Storage shortage of the wardrobe is a pain for me. Bring your own hairdryer. Wake up for breakfast.

The hotel is up to Marriott Bonvoy standards. Staff are reasonably friendly, rooms are very clean and quiet. Our room was a bit humid though, as I found my clothes and documents were a bit damp at times. Standard rooms are relatively small. Breakfast is quite good with a good selection of local and more standard western options, however, selection is identical every day. Location is quite good and not too far from the B3 entrance at Sai Ying Pun MTR station.

The hotel is a bit far from the center of the island, you need to take the MTR and walk a bit. The staff was friendly and very professional. The room was pretty small I would say except the bathroom which was good. It was a bit dated and the TV was poor, no need to use that. Got a good view over the city which was nice so you could see the traffic. The AC was okay, a bit old and didn't get really cold. The breakfast was in-room dining which I didn't know, you had to call and order from a couple of set alternatives and they would bring it up within 20 minutes. A bit of shame that it wasn't a buffet breakfast which I thought.

Staff from front desk and housekeeping are nice and kind with passion of hospitality. Very pleasant staying here. Convenience stores and restaurants are around, easy to grab food and drink at anytime.

My family has stayed in courtyard for qurantine, good experience and comfortable rooms, the only improvement needed is in veg food option for the vegitarian people.

This Courtyard by Marriott is an excellent quarantine hotel. My 8th floor views are of the very commercial Western Wholesale Food Market across Connaught, and beyond it the views of the harbor with many ships at anchor, and beyond these the views of the Kowloon cityscape; these views might suffer for romance but make up for it in spectator action. Ships at anchor, many trucks in the market, morning gray clouds rumbling in...my huge windows give me a courtside seat. If it wasn't quarantine them I'd be out and about, but I'm stuck in my room for 7 days so what's better than this? I will get sick of the 3x/day limited food rotation but can order in from a wonderful variety of local restaurants. This isn't prison just because I can't leave my room. It's a week of solitary bliss where the trials and tribulations of the planet are untouchable and beyond the pale. Bliss.

Hahaha, graduated from the quarantine today! Appreciate the hotel staff's thoughtful arrangements and the seaview room. This is my 3rd and best experienced Covid quarantine. As for the food, they offer some selections. However, having three meals a day for 7 days, you will get tired. I ordered take out from time to time for a change. Overall, good hotel and great service!

Overall a good hotel. I would rate this a 4 star hotel based on their rooms and amenities. The rooms are decent size and are comfy. You can tell the hotel is a bit old but everything is well maintained. Of special note is their concierge service, which I would give 5 stars to. They are extremely helpful in every way. From booking taxis and giving directions, to literally waiting for the airport bus and telling you when to get on. Fantastic concierge that goes above and beyond their work.

Good hotel with an excellent view on the bay We chose room with a harbor view and it was very good decision - view is awesome! ROOMS: small size, very compact, big window. But surprisingly good size of the bathroom. There is a shower inside the bathroom. Comfortable bed with four pillows, sofa, safe, TV and fridge. Complimentary water is provided every day. LOCATION: 7min walking distance to the nearest metro station. There are many places to eat nearby - I recommend you to visit NOC especially for breakfast or brunch. FOOD: if breakfast doesnโ€™t include, it costs $HNK 115 if youโ€™re paying on the front deck. Breakfast in the hotel is a buffet with rather good variety of eggs, sausages, cheese, meat and veggies, fruits, toasts and desserts. To sum up, everything what youโ€™re expecting from the average hotel - nothing striking, but you can create a good breakfast for yourself. There are a restaurant on site and an executive lounge with a buffet. FACILITIES: good wi-fi, gym 24/7, business center working in business hours, shuttle buses to the metro station and to the airport STAFF: polite and friendly, speaks English well.

Special thanks to Eddie (bell man), Brian (at reception) and Wen/Wan (housekeeping) for making our 4 nights stay here pleasant. I was in this hotel for a business trip and Eddie helped me every morning to call for taxi and was very helpful and polite. Bryan offered us early check in since there are available rooms and coins exchanges (for our public transport rides). Wen kept our room tidy and was amazing to attend to our requests, giving new towels, restocking, etc. Hotel lounge is great, well maintained hotel. Definitely recommend to come here. Location wise may a bit further from main shopping malls but there are trams nearby (cheap as chips) to carry you to the central (around 15-20min) Pardon the photos these are taken when weโ€™re checking out!

They upgraded my room to seaview which is awesome looking at the harbour at night and in the morning. Looking at the highway infra and harbour tunnel entrance was really great. The room size isnโ€™t big but it is reasonable for two people. The room is clean in general. The glass wall has a blind to block 99% from seeing through the bathroom but still you have to consider when sharing room with family or friends. The location is around 10 mins away from MTR station or you may also consider to tak bus where it is very close to western harbour tunnel.

The hotel location is near to tram and MTR, very convenient. There are few Hong Kong cafes and supermarkets within walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially thanks to Max Mok. The hotel room is clean and we got a bedroom with magnificent harbour view.

This hotel is located in Hong Kong island. Depending on where you will do most of your activities in Hong Kong, for single business traveler, this hotel is located in good location. And this hotel offer enough facilities and amenities, e.g. travel adaptor which is useful to charge your devices Breakfast selection has standard selection. WiFi connection is also good

After staying in multiple hotels in Hong Kong, I feel like I have to give this hotel a review it deserves. The location was great for me, I took the tram most days and loved being close enough to walk to the waterfront. It's about 600 m, which is definitely a bucket full of sweat and Hong Kong summer, to the MTR and there are tons of bus stops right by the hotel. There are a lot of great restaurants and other amenities within a 5 to 10 minute walk. All of that said, a taxi ride to Wan Chai is still only about 10 minutes and $70 HKD. The room was a great size for Hong Kong standards (I was able to exercise in my room). It had one of the standard air filter ionizer things that was actually very quiet. Being on the 22nd floor there was no road noise to be heard of and I had a really nice view. The shower was a great size and there was an in-room refrigerator. None of the hotels I stayed at in Hong Kong had a dresser, but rather a couple of drawers available in the closet. Not a big deal if you're staying for a few days. Something to consider if you're staying for longer. I absolutely loved the breakfast! The pictures of the buffet do it justice, and the quality of food and service at the restaurant were top notch. There was an executive lounge and a gym on the second floor. The gym was a decent size, definitely fills up in the mornings, and also has a great view. There are a couple of cardio machines, some weight machines, some benches and some free weights. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing!!! ๐Ÿ˜ TL;DR Great option for the price, though a bucket of sweat of a walk (about 600m to the MTR), amazing breakfast (200 HKD) and friendly service!

Very nice hotel. Location was good as tram and mtr stations are fairly close. circle K & 7-11 nearby. Thereโ€™s also a nice Modern Cafe across where you can have breakfast. Checkin & checkout was efficient. Room was spacious and clean. Cable was out when we were there.

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Room was adequate but a bit on the small side. That said, the view from the room was great. Overall, the hotel was clean and easy to get to all things important. Would return if Iโ€™m the area again.

Stayed here multiple times already. Itโ€™s my default hotel by choice. Staff are friendly, price is reasonable, location is great. This property is a very well balanced hotel. Some rooms have really nice view also. Thank you to front desk agent Joycelyn Chiu for always taking good care of my stay. I will continue staying here for most of my HongKong trips. It does check all the necessary boxes for me.

Such a lovely hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We ate at the Christmas buffet and it was one of the best buffets. So many choices for meat, mains, salads and desserts. The quality of the food was top notch and we got excellent value for our money. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located quarantine hotel. Battalion suggestions: provide free yoga mat, more nutritious or yummy foods & drinks eg yogurt, Hong Kong milk tea, herbal teas to help wellbeing of guests ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง‹๐Ÿงƒ

I fondly like Courtyard by Marriott, as the rooms are spacious, the view is magnificent, the location is great. Close to the MTR, tram stop, bus stop, and accessible by taxi. Also close to Central.

An environmental disaster... stayed for a 3-day quarantine period. Absolutely everything is wrapped in single-use plastic. Each meal comes in a disposable container, with a disposable set of cutlery, all wrapped in a disposable bag. The fruit with lunch gets is own plastic bag. We were two people in the room - so two fruits - two more plastic bags. If you ask for more shampoo and soap - it comes wrapped in a plastic bag. Extra pillow? It also arrives in a massive bag. If you ask for plates, bowls and cutlery in the room, they tell you they can only provide extra disposable sets. The staff tell you this is a government requirement, but it is simply not true. I have stayed in 4 other quarantine hotels over the last year, and each one provided me with normal plates, glasses and cutlery to avoid waste, and a scrubby and soap to clean these items in the room. Overall, the amount of garbage we reluctantly placed outside the room at the end of the day was abominable. For the sake of the planet - please do not book here until the hotel changes it's ways. For the management of the hotel, I strongly encourage you to look into methods for reducing waste. I would expect much better from a large international chain such as Marriott. Other than that - and the only reason for the 2 starts instead of 1 - the room was an acceptable size, clean and comfortable. Wifi was strong and stable. TV channel selection was good. The staff were friendly and deliveries to the room were quick. The provided food (during the quarantine stay) was absolutely horrible - but that is nothing new for most quarantine hotels.

Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard for our 7 day quarantine. We had a high floor end unit so windows on both sides facing the harbour. From check in to departure the staff was amazing. The rooms are of decent size and the bedding very comfortable. They quickly responded to our needs. While it was a little unnerving not seeing a soul for 7 days the staffs responsiveness was great. The food came promptly and most was good for a Q hotel. I have stayed at this hotel quite often before Q and will stay there again. I would recommend this property for your Q needs or afterwards any travel needs you may have.
