Unlike many similarly named restaurants, this one does well at the sweeter tastes from Zhejiang rather than only the Shanghainese basics (which are also very good). Pepper pastries, sweetened smoked fish and spicy preserved eggs were standouts. Salty pork ribs were a bit dry.

Excellent Smoked fish, perfect Siu loong Bau dumplings, and braised pork. Very traditional Shanghai cuisine, probably the best in Hong Kong. The staff are very helpful with ordering; highly recommended!

Delicate Zhejiang cuisine, upscale business lunch. Starting with nearest done eggs were impressive, the texture was excellent. Radish, warm and freshly made smoked fish, just ok river fired shrimps, interesting crispy rice scone, the smashed fish was a nice try like fish noodle or fish ball .. steamed dumpling is a must, finally the Chinese ham with honey sauce wrapped with bun and bean cracker were fun to try too. All in all, something new something nice that even never try in Shanghai and Zhejiang.

Finally try this one at my husband’s mum birthday, my friend always goes there for dinner so I wanted to try for so long. Overall, their food are nice. His mum was so surprised with the big birthday bun that we pre-ordered lol. Glad that they all like this restaurant. Can definitely come back again. P.S. they have two slots, better book the later slot if u want more time with ur family.

There are a number of famous Jiangsu/Zhejiang and Shanghainese cuisines in town, and Zhe Jiang Heen is one helmed with a #michelinstar since 2013. The 5-course lunch set was so sumptuous with a few notable signature dishes. 紅燒獅子頭 - the traditional minced pork dumpling, so succulent and love the cabbages and mushroom that absorbed the sauce. 古法燻魚 was another WOW factor, a bit crunchy and fluffy smoked fish while retaining its freshness. 小籠包 was a demo of how exactly it should be like, thin skin, yummy pork filling with a boiling broth. Been a while since I had 高力豆沙, paired with yellow sugar instead, it’s so airy and somehow “cosy” having bites in my mouth - amazing! With such a reasonable price having classic Chinese dishes for lunch, what more can I ask for?

The entrance of this resturant is not very obvious and it was a little secretly hidden. Not a reaturant that would be easily searched for comment on the openrice app for example. There are three floors and we were on the second as it is the floor for suites/ private rooms. I was told the first floor was open like the usual Chinese restaurant. I haven't been there. We were served in the suite becos one of my friend knew the staff there. Their service was excellent but again this could be biased becos we tipped them beforehand quite a good amount. The food I have to say is of good quality. The smoked eggs you can taste a strong smoked flavour. Ingredients are fresh and dishes well seasoned. I've more expectations for the duck as they said it's their recommended dish. I wasn't impressed at all. They did dumplings (both steamed n pan fried) way better than their ducks. I could recommend this restaurant as it is like a hidden gem but perhaps order something other than the ducks. All other dishes were amazing.

One of the best Shanghainese restaurants in Hong Kong in our opinion. The deco and setting was not fancy nor spacious. But the price was reasonable and food was excellent.

This is the best Zhiangjiang restaurant that I have been in town. The dishes were all prepared with the finest details. Wonton chicken soup was with a strong taste of cured Chinese ham and the meat in the wonton tasted unusally fresh. The sweet and sour fish was crispy and meaty. Not like some with only the skin and skeleton. The pork knuckle was silky and tender and the fat part was especially irresistiblely fused with red sauce. Pan fried wohtip has always been my favorite and it was so good that the taste memory is still haunting me.

Decent dinner place for Shanghainese cuisine with the Chinese interior design style. Food-wise i enjoyed the drunken pigeon in shaoxing wine, sliced eel’s back with garlic, double-boiled conch meat with aweto flower soup, tofu skin with Zhejiang vegetables! Awesome services. You need to make reservations and pre-order several popular dishes!

Appetisers are nice. Quality was pretty standard. The dragon beard steamed fish was fresh and nice. The dried ham with steamed bun was ok but the presentation was so so.

Great food. Great service and Great ambience. Hairy crab seasonal dish was great. Pastries can be better but already quite decent. Preserved ham and chicken soup was really tasty. Don't worry, you have a choice to Not order it with shark's fin and I also didn't. Don't miss out the starters. Sorry no photos, Crispy eel, Fried stinky tofu, Chopped leaves with bean curd and sesame oil, Preserved radish, etc. Fried pot stickers are perfect as well.

This place is always full so make sure you make reservations, and some food require pre-ordered. My family and I love the smoked egg, the pigeon marinated in Shao xing wine and the crispy fried chicken. The fried thick noodle is good too but it is a bit oily for me. I have tried the wontons with chicken soup in the crocked pot before, and I think it is highly recommended if there are more people to share with. Btw, I prefer a more crispier crust for the red bean crepe, so the one they served has a thicker texture. I think it is quite an authentic Shanghainese restaurant for families.
