I personally have dined there several times and each time did not disappoint, the servers are friendly and the food is impeccable. After the massive whole club renovation, it is obvious that the club is now both chic and elegant, whilst still preserving the historic and culture aspect of its heritage.

Very good curry Prawns and nice view. However, worst service I have ever experienced at a Private Club. Manager was rude and put our wine away (2 bottles with 50% left) without seeking our consent and when I asked about the wine, was told rudely that because 2 of our friends were tipsy they will not serve us. I then commented that at least we couldn't been told nicely after which we would've gladly left, yet I got an even less polite response (along with a very rude look fr hum) that if we are unhappy we should just speak with the member (our friend left early for the night). Thank you for ruining our originally very enjoyable night.

For members only. We tried the Sala Leal Senado for lunch. Food is good and authentic. Must try the duck rice. Other dishes like roasted suckling pig, whole sole are also delicious. Price is very reasonable at HKD200 per head. Will definitely visit another time to try out other Portuguese dish on the menu.
