All day greasy spoon with very extensive menu. Highlight for dinner from 6pm is the claypot rice.

The food was REALLY good! So was the quantity of it. They gave us an English menu so it wasn't hard for us to order. We ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork, Deep Fried Pepper Squid and Yang Chow Fried Rice. We are three people and it was good for 4. We found no flaw. Everything was hands down the best we ever had. Very affordable and good for its price! Even the staff was accommodating.

Good claypot rice here cooked fresh outside on the street; so hot and crispy with good toppings and overall flavour. Pricing is good and service okay. 2 levels so seating space and availability are good.

Haven’t been here a while and love their bread rolls & egg tart. The lady is really nice as all egg tart gone when I want to buy take away, she helps to check and we got 2 totally fresh one. Lucky us !!!! Taste is great as usual ❀️❀️

A localized Hong Kong style fast food restaurant hidden at Tung Choi Street, serving breakfast lunch and dinner with seating area. Fresh bake bun and pastry. An Authentic Traditional hk style restaurant.

It’s a NO for me. They don’t even bother my presence. I just noticed late at different tables that they are serving water to people upon ordering and I was like??? No English menu to offer and they just let me use the Chinese ones. They just let me sit with someone else as well (also common in Hong Kong). I went to the restaurant due to a recommendation from Tripadvisor and nearby my place where I’m staying...so not again. I order this curry pork chop and a pork floss rice where I can’t even taste the main ingredients itself. They have a pastry section outside.

Usually ox-tail it is either cooked in red-wine sauce or some braised style, but this restaurant offers ox tail curry so I tried it. The ox-tail was quite soft, and it was piping hot, especially served in a clay pot.

Fung Me Yuen is an ordinary cha chan teng in Hong Kong, you can get great food in here, in an affordable price. The decorations in the shop are simple, and there are enough seats for more than 6 people. For the food, the curry here is awesome, and the red bean cooler is good here too ( with 50/50 red bean and ice ) , I would recommend these food. The shop opens until midnight, so it's also suitable for late night owls to dine in when most of the shops are closed ( and special price meals are provided during late night). All in all, it is a great restaurant.

🫀 This was my usual place to get pineapple bun with butter and Hong Kong style milk tea. With the pandemic, this was the first time I returned to Hong Kong after 4 years. The pineapple bun and milk tea are good, but I found several other restaurants (Sun Wah, Gold Garden) in Cheung Sha Wan that offer...
