Visited here on 19.02.2022. One if the best places to experience authentic South Indian delicacies. Extremely well managed and has a great 'Indian' vibe to the restaurant located here in HK. This is exactly the kind of place to visit if you truly want to enjoy authentic South Indian food. Had a great time. Owner is one if the nicest guys around, very friendly and cooperative.

Great South indian food! Tried the medu vada and rawa masala dosa, had no complaints. Service was super fast. Staff is kind and friendly. Visited on a Saturday evening around 7pm (Nov 2021) and there was waiting list. Had to wait for around 10-15 minutes. The place was a bit noisy. However totally worth having tasty Indian food in a foreign land. Since I was visiting the first time, it was a bit tough for me to find the place using maps. However if one knows it's inside Wing on plaze (UG), it's very easy to locate.

This is one of the best Indian Vegetarian restaurant in Hong Kong. Weekends are very crowded. Food is amazing. If you visit Chennai, please visit their Brach. That’s more amazing. Try South Indian dishes.

Don't let the shabby mall deter you, the food here is incredible. Super flavorful and everything is made very well. Not very upscale environment, so it's nice just for friends to get lunch but I wouldn't bring a date here. Very well could be the best Indian food I've ever had.

Food was so amazing. Definitely order the South Indian food here. Dosas were unreal. Pakora was excellent. All of it... So good! Service was pretty fast and pleasant. They seemed very happy after my group mentioned enjoying the food. Restaurant isn't the prettiest, but who cares as long as the food is bomb! Highly recommended.

Sangeetha is my favourite Indian restaurant! If you don’t know what to pick from menu, South Indian Thali should be a great choice for you to try everything! Great service today. Manager knows what we need before we ask! Enjoy:)

Amazing food!! SO much flavour - especially loved the dosa and curries. Ambience and service was a bit lacking, but the food definitely makes up for it. Overall a good dining option, particularly if nearby Woodlands is busy.

Today I came to the fair. It was nicely arranged. Had my lunch at Sangeetha. Awesome taste but in service part nobody is there to take care of s except one guy who is without uniforms and with long moustache. He alone taking care of all customers , particularly his hospitality towards me and everyone was good. Expect the same hospitality from your whole Sangeetha team. All the best!!!

If you want authenticity in Indian fare, then visit Sangeetha. Delicious aromatic Indian food. Lots of variety to choose from. No booking. You will always find a place. Ambience is noisy but well lit. Excellent service always with a smile. I love it.

I love south Indian vegetarian cuisine and Sangeetha is definitely a must go in Hong Kong. I had the masala dosa and Chennai filtered coffee. It was really good, along with the curry and chutneys. I wished the masala filling a little more generous. At the end of it, I had to order an additional 2 pieces of vada to make it a filling meal ? Lastly, I loved the coffee. It was really good and I’d travel all the way to east TST just for it. ?

Most honest South Indian food place with a smile and heart. Unlimited chutney and sambar, no service charge and no arguments. Super yummy Dosas , idlies, vada, etc. You name it it's perfect. The portion of the Dosa is Huge and some is enough for 2-3 people sharing also. Thali is superb but a bit spicy true to the Indian taste. Cleanliness is spic n span with a nice harbor view. A must when in Hong Kong. Great location ?

There is not much variance of items here for girls. For men its really a nice stop to shop at a discounted price. Staff management is poor here there are lot of staff near clothing stations but at billing stations there is lack of staff, the same guy had to bill, remove tags and pack which results in a long queue and a handful of time is wasted.

Good location, spacious, huge variety & stocks. Most probably one of the best Brand Factory outlet. Very attaractive offers. Men's section is the best. Only one question is there and that is, what is the reason behind this huge discount (60%) of such world famous branded products through out the year... and it is a serious question from the transparency angle...

If you are looking for authentic South Indian food in HK then you must visit this place. Its very close to MTR. Just exit from P1 at Tsim Tsa Tsui and you will see wing on plaza. In the building Sangeetha Restaurant is at first floor.

  • 5/5 ssg 3 years ago on Google
I eat quite a lot of Indian food because it is one of my favourite Cuisines. Recently I have started exploring Vegetarian Indian food when I realized there are quite a few in TST. When I walked into Sangeetha, I was impressed to see that they make their own snacks because I normally buy these at Indian shops. The menu was impressive and there was so much to choose from. For Vadas, there was a good variety like Onion, pepper etc and the milkshake range too. Started with the hazelnut milkshake which was very sweet. It was really difficult making my mind up because every item was different and something I wanted to try. Started with the onion vada which was crispy with lots of onions in it. I was so glad I had this because most restaurants serve plain vada. Next was the Idiyappam which is similar to rice vermicelli with coconut chutney and curry. The pairing of these were great as it balanced the fieriness of the spices. Next was the Uttapam whichi is like a thick pancake with lots of peas in it. It was crisp on the surface with juicy sweet peas popping in your mouth. For carbs, I had the fried mushroom rice and Sichuan fried noodles. In my opinion, Indian fried rices and noodles are far less oily but then I am biased because I love long grain Indian rice which is fluffy and soft! I really liked the fried rice because there was crisp lettuce in it which gave it a refreshing mouthfeel. The Palak Mutter was spicy but great with the rice. Overall, this was the best experience because the staff were very patient and expat friendly so I will be coming back again.

Sangeetha is a southern Indian vegetarian restaurant located on the upper ground floor of the Wing On Plaza in TST East district of the Kowloon Peninsula. They are open daily from 10.30am to 3pm and 6pm to 9.30pm (weekdays) and 9.30am 4pm and to 6pm to 9.30pm (weekends). Seating is casual and menu features a range of expected dosi, uthappam, thali and typical southern Indian starters such as idly and vada. They also serve a handful of northern Indian dishes as well. Prices are very reasonable for South Asian restaurants here in Hong Kong. During a recent lunch, we had a dosi and Southern Indian thali served with a bowl of plain rice and everything tasted great. The dosi, chapatha and roti were good quality and the various thali dip servings were good representation of the six taste elements (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter and spicy) and each was flavourful, making for a balanced and delicious lunch. We also had sambar idly & vada which tasted fine, salty lassi was thick and quite good. Chennai style filter coffee was sweet and very good. Overall, very happy with our recent lunch at Sangeetha in TST East. This was a better Indian meal than we are used to in HK and a nice opportunity to enjoy some healthy vegetarian food as well. We look forward to dining here again in the future.

It's very difficult to find Indian veg restaurants in hongkong. Restaurant served good and tasty foods.its working inside a shopping mall, due to rush we were waited long time outside the restaurant. As all are aware that hongkong is really expensive place. tourist point of view - atleast needs 5000rs for a small family for one time food in veg restaurants. This hotel is near to TST. If u book hotel around TST it's a good option

I went to Hong Kong for 5 days! 3 of the 5 days I went here! Because it’s was soooooo good! I went and tried other restaurants as part of my trip! I regret it ! wish I went here everyday! They were sooo welcoming! Food was perfect every time! They were always busy with loads of Indian customers /families /business lunches and people of other backgrounds! I am not indian however I do love Indian food and tried many Indians world wide and have a lot of Indian friends! So trust me I know good indian food! Do not hesitate to try this place. I recommend the thali! I tried both north and south! Personally I preferred the northern one! As it has biryani rice! Which I love! The dosa was amazing too! The lassis were divine! Thank you!

I will return to try more dishes when I’m in the area. So far so good. The waitress who served me was very hospitable. May not be as suitable for a big group gathering, nor for a quiet get together given that it can get noisy with the close proximity, and large number of dining tables.

Found this gem by chance in Jan 2019 and we ended up eating here almost every night! The South Indian Thali is the best thing I’ve ever tasted outside of India. The Sizzling Paneer is right up there too along with their Masala Chai. Would fly back to Hong Kong in a heartbeat just to sample the food here again. The only problem is that I’ve been comparing everything to this place ever since 😭 The bar is set too high.

This place was highly recommended to try Indian Vegetarian food. The food is pretty average, the dosas and idly you can’t go wrong with. The rest was below average including drinks. The service is rubbish. Staff are least interested in their job, they’re out in public discussing their personal lives out loud. Some are blatantly rude to customers while the cashier (I don’t know if he’s the supervisor) is busy on his phone.

Went for Sunday dinner. Waiting was toooo long. The restaurant is running at overcapacity. Taking more waiting than they can handle. We asked for a table of 8 and after waiting for 40 mins when two of the kids in the group were impatiently running around in the mall cause no waiting on phone for Sunday, we got two tables of four. Requested for a table together the guy handling the tables was super rude and arrogant. Although the lady there was amazing and listened to what we asked and served us really good food. Ate in 20 mins. It was a fish market too crowded. Less staff. Overcapacity. Decent food for South Indian. Not at all for North Indian. Tried the chola bhatura and over fried frozen cutlets. No thumps up was a bummer.

Extremely unorganised staff and manager. Too many tables were cramped up in the small restaurant. No napkins, cutlery or water provided on tables. Dirty tables. Dirty floor. Smelly place. Staff took too long to respond to customers. Not enough staff to cover the full capacity of customers. The service is worse than cheap roadside stalls and prices of food items are at the level of a restaurant. We went to have a family dinner to celebrate but came out traumatized after the dinner. I would never go back, nor recommend anyone to visit this. There are many more vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong which have much better ambience and a quiet dining experience at the same price.

How come shezhwan rice is served with raita, not with shezhwan sauce... God knows.. I think it's my mistake that I ordered Chinese dish in South Indian restaurant.

🫤 This was my usual place to get pineapple bun with butter and Hong Kong style milk tea. With the pandemic, this was the first time I returned to Hong Kong after 4 years. The pineapple bun and milk tea are good, but I found several other restaurants (Sun Wah, Gold Garden) in Cheung Sha Wan that offer...
