The base of all outdoor sports for HKU. But sad to tell that it bounds itself like a prision and now become a very alumni unfriendly venue.

Spacious sports centre with various facilities including swimming pool, pitches for lacrosse/hockey/baseball, basketball court, running track, football field, gym, etc. Most facilities are well-maintained. Average staff attitude. Next to it is a wonderful waterfront promenade, one of the best places in HK Island for sunset and a stroll. Accessibility is the worst thing of the place. Minibus route 58 is the only available public transport. It can be taken from Kennedy Town MTR Station or Aberdeen. Another choice is HKU shuttle bus, which is infamous for its inconvenience. Otherwise you could only go there with a taxi or by driving. Parking rate definitely hostile to visitors and students ($30/half hour), despite an abundance of empty parking lots. An alley right opposite to the entrance and a part of Sandy Bay Drive are sometimes “seen” with illegal parking vehicles, with low to moderate chance to get fined.

Clean stadium with lots of seating areas and spacious bathrooms; showers, toilets and lockers. Small canteen on site and paid parking.

great place to play sports but the parking is SUPER expensive ! 30$/hr

I will review the gym: Newer equipment than at Flora Ho but smaller, generally less people since it is far away. Only one bench press and two separe benches but enough equipment for a good workout.

very spacious. I like sitting here while waiting for the kids to finish to thier sports. You can watch the beautiful sunset,big cargo ship passing by.

Quite spacious, well maintained, but inconvenient to get here. Taking bus 58 or 10 seems to be the only option aside from HKU shuttle bus.

Love this sports centre, so big and equipped, with swimming pool, gym, table tennis, tennis court, athletic area, football court etc Not to mention, with a sea view... Love teaching yoga here every Monday Tuesday and Thursday in the morning.

Staffs good attitude. Clean pool and changing room.

Gem of a place.. Perfect place to spend your weekend engaged in any sports
