Adding a lit of good luck? 😂 As a frequenter of the chain, I was left in utter shock when I opened the box of steamed pork buns yesterday. Must be luck at its apogee. Was curious what kind of bug that is. Glad that it does not look like a cockroach nor a fly. Jokes aside, please make sure to debug before packing the food, thanks.

An Michelin Guide awardee, Quality dim sum with fairly pricing, No additional 10% service charge, Only $5/person for tea. Interior layout similar with fast food stores, Simple and nite. Not much queuing at 11:00am on a weekday. Freshly made everyday!! Tasty “𝙃𝙖 𝙅𝙞𝙖𝙤” and “𝙎𝙞𝙪 𝙈𝙖𝙞”😋 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 (𝙃𝙖 𝙅𝙞𝙖𝙤) 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙥 𝙙𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 $36 (𝙎𝙞𝙪 𝙈𝙖𝙞) 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙠 & 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙥 𝙙𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 $36 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘽𝘽𝙌 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙠 $25 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙙 $23 𝙊𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙨 𝙟𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙜𝙤𝙟𝙞 𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 $13 🥺 𝘿𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙙 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙥 & 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙫𝙚 $36 𝘿𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙠 & 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙥 $28

Always super busy here and with long line ups. The signature dim sum of the BBQ pork bun is a must try - flavour and texture makes for the perfect combination. The reason for this one to be even busier than others is probably because it's located inside the station, making it very accessible without the need to step outside. I didn't think any of the food items were bad - all on average to slightly above based on size to flavour and quality. This is also a spot a lot of tours like to take their groups as well for a meal. Lots of seating available but gets packed quick.

This restaurant is in the mtr on L1, just FYI, took us forever to find it! Place was awesome! I don't know how to rate this place, I'm not a big fan of this style of food so I'm doing the review mostly off of what other people in my group said. My favorite was the pork bun thing, I don't remember the name. It did have a sweet bun which was fine but I wish it was more "hearty," the sweet almost outweighed the flavor of the pork. My group loved them so much more than me though! They ordered a third set! Everything else we got was supposedly really good as well! I think the funniest thing was requiring an order of tea from each person or pay $8hk. Which is fine just a little strange!

Barbecue bun not as good as before but their steamed dumplings still our favorites- Chiu Chow, Siumai, Shrimp dumplings! Chili Wonton is ok with lesser raw garlic is probably better. What’s not to miss? Waiting in queue and luggage-totting crowd..

In between type of place. Generally better and more expensive than a fast food place. Not the comfort and the time afforded for a proper Yum Cha you can find in decent Chinese restaurant.

Heard that the original main store in Sham Shui Po was good but never tried. Tried twice of the branch restaurant at IFC but was never impressed. Prices were relatively cheap for dim sum at such a prime Central location but if one can afford to travel a bit outside, many restaurants offer special priced dim sum at similar prices if not cheaper. Quality of dim sum was sub-par if not inferior. Rice of the minced pork on steamed rice was dry & hard & tasted very blank. Shrimp dumplings & steamed rice rolls with pig’s liver were ok & that’s it. Fast food style services & catering environment. Fairly disappointing.

First visit to this location after covid. Must admit that the quality of the food has improved significantly along with the service. We came after 2pm to avoid the lunch crowd and was able to eat at a leisurely pace. Their famous baked BBQ bun retains the same standard. The rice noodle roll was silky smooth and delicate. Happy to say we were not disappointed with any of the other dishes we ordered. Very satisfying meal and the price was reasonable.

After five years, is still amazing! Arrived a little early to avoid long queues at lunchtime. Everything is good especially rice wrapped in lotus leaf and the BBQ chicken feet 😋

The bbq pork bun is always their signature with nice taste. Worth to try. But the ambient is not really traditionally authentic like local stores.

back in 2017 i had tim ho wan in the original store, but it was inconvenient to queue up for it. this time i just went to this branch at central. no queue at all at dinner time, and the taste is just the same as i rememeber at the original branch. service is friendly and fast. price is slightly premium,. definitely would come back again in the future if im in hong kong.

Excellent food, super tasty and came really quickly. The space is cramped though, it’s not a place to stay overtime. There’s a big variety of options (of course the pork buns are a must) and the prices are reasonable. Also super convenient, since it’s located on an MTR station — you just eat and be on your way. Would love to visit again sometime

Today I arrived around 11 am , but there s already a long queue. The restaurant got basic interiors, the seatings are very very packed and tight. Nevertheless, the dim sum is cheap and tasty. Shrimp dumplings is quite good! The dumping wrapping is not too thick, and the shrimps are bouncy and tasty. The bbq bun is a must. It is crispy outside and soft inside. The bbq pork is lean and not too fatty, and the bbq sauce is sweet, simply delicious!

We have dinner at the hong kong metro station Branch. Likely the best dimsum restaurant chain in Hong Kong. The siumai, Har Jiao, the pork barbecue bun and the other dimsum we ordered are all very good. The service is fast. The place is a bit crowded.

Another pleasant suprise of simple dishes (dimsum, noodles and lotus chicken rice) served but they are savory! Don't have to be in fancy resto to try a Michellin star rating.. its a bang for your buck and taste buds!

This is the best dimsum resto I’ve tried so far in HK. I recommend the spring roll with shrimp & egg white ; also the one that has green sauce cause I forgot the name 🥲😭, those were theeee best. The price was little bit pricey for me and be careful with their staff for offering the tea (she offered the most expensive item for me). Avoid the lunch hour so you dont need to have long que, I came at 11 and directly seated.

Food tasted as expected. Staff seem overwhelmed, clueless, chaotic and disinterested. Maybe that adds a dash of old world charm. 🤪 The selection was limited. Understandably so, as it is more like a kiosk than a proper restaurant. The tea here had fanciful names and “fragrance”. The fragrance was very faint and hard to tell the difference.

Our usual spot before taking the AirPort Express. The line is usually really long during lunch but if you come before noon, you’ll get seats right away. We get a wide range of dim sum, but the favorites are the glutinous rice, siu mai, chicken feet, and the bbq pork buns. We tried the new item as well but that was so so, the fish ball with coriander. The place is so iconic but lately the things haven’t been the same. Not sure if it’s the ingredients it the way it’s prepped. The service is still 5/5, but the food has changed. But overall, worth a visit if you’re in the area!

My go to place for dimsum in HKG located on the first floor IFC building. Excellent quality and consistency. Known for their BBQ pork buns but I find them a little too sweet. Always freshly made dimsum, however limited seating resulting in long lines during peak lunch periods. Beef balls are a standout with a nice ratio of parsley and orange peel flavors. Abalone chicken feet are a little too firm for my preference but the abalone sauce gives them a nice Unami flavor profile. The liver in the rice rolls are fresh and tender for all the liver lovers out there, my mom would be proud as I hated liver when I was a kid. The fried mince meat balls were crispy with a soft mochi like shell complimented with the savory minced meat inside Staff were efficient and surly, rushing people to finish, watching and clearing your plates as soon as your finished, come on, let me enjoy my dimsum at my pace.. Go with friends and share as many dishes as possible, that's what dimsum is all about.

On May 9, 2023, my wife and I came here for lunch. Around 13:30, we barely had to wait. We shared a small table with a group of five and a young couple speaking Mandarin. While dim sum fully met our expectations, the service wasn’t.

Food quality just so-so, dim sum not hot enough when serving. Okay for a quick bite.

Acceptable dim sum taste. Reasonable price. Too compact a space to enjoy food. This is a eat and go place.

Always guaranteed quick and cheerful service and great dim sum. Har gau, siu mai and chilli wonton are delicious and the baked char siu bun is a must order!

Good place, a bit lost, hard to find, but definitely worth it, not expensive and really good, it's closing quite early tho. You should try the BBQ pork buns!

You can find this in IFC mall/Hongkong station, all the way down. My favorite are baked buns and Shrimp dumplings! The shrimps are big and you get double shrimps in one dumpling.

I loved the quality of the food. Every plate was excellent and well cooked. Michelin star quality at affordable prices. I would come back million times. I am sorry I dont remember every plate’s name. Every bite was excellent
