I don't know why this restaurant is famous. The xiao long bao was cold and too salty. The staff was more focused on cleaning up the dishes than serving the guests. I won't go again. I paid HKD 291.50. pretty expensive.

I love this place! Perfect place to have Chinese food if you have small parties as food portions are small. My favorite dishes in the picture, egg whites with crab meat, eggplant and fried chicken. Everything is made without msg, ingredients are quite fresh, can eat clean here.

The foods are fantastic. I am really fond of this type of Chinese foods. The taste is definitely 4 stars, better than most Shanghai restaurants in the area. Gotta try out the signature Shanghai foods that they offer, I think you would be satisfied too. Their price is higher than other Shanghai restaurants in the area, but so is the taste. Average HKD $120 per person.

King's Lodge has been my old time favourite Chinese restaurant. Pleasing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Chinese cuisine has never been better. The restaurateur has maintained the quality of food for the last 20 years. Whenever I have visited this restaurant with friends and families they would always rave about the quality of food which was served. This is one restaurant where you rinse your clean crockery and cutlery once again with hot water to maintain hygiene standards. We ate fried rice which was delicious. Succulent dumplings, green bean noodles garnished with cold shredded chicken and thin strips of cucumber topped with peanut sauce and mouth watering Garlic prawns in Schezwan sauce. They do have a bar but I am not too sure how well stocked it is. If you have never visited King's Lodge, I suggest you book now.

Very good very reasonable and one of those places where you will find a dish made just as you like it and have you returning to enjoy it again and again. It's high end comfort food.

We were there at odd hours around 4pm so it wasn’t busy and doesn’t have to wait 40 mins for the Peking Duck. I was surprised the Peking Duck was very tasty though the pancake was a bit dry. The Xiao Long Pow are yummy and the skin of the dumplings doesn’t break easily like the one at Paradise Dynasty. So thumbs up to that. The staff are very friendly. Overall good food though it’s a bit pricey.

Delicious Peking duck (though it takes about 40 minutes) it is well worth ordering! Make sure to order some dim sum first! Automatic $12 HKD for the tea that comes while you are seated. Also they have service charge. However food is absolutely delicious.

Shanghai cuisine restaurant: relatively spacious compare with other restaurants. Good cleanliness and service is ok. With english menu which is good for tourists. Also the portions stated clearly for easy reference. Food a bit salty but some of the dishes need to wait for longer time. Overall speaking, food are tasty.

disgusting service. It was my birthday today and we decided to go to a highly rated restaurant for peking duck. when ordering food we ticket off peking duck, kung pao chicken and dim sum. we got the dim sum almost immediately and it tasted nice. however, we had waited for almost an hour and there was still no duck or chicken, mean while the staff walked aimlessly around the restaurant and unpacked packages that they received in front of us. When we asked where our food was they told us that they ‘didn’t see’ it when it was very clearly ticked off when ordering. This was extremely frustrating as it was 5:50pm and restaurants closed at 6pm due to covid. When the duck did arrive, both the pancakes and the duck were cold. we decided to take away the chicken, the restaurant staff demanded that we pay two dollars for a take away box and they insisted that we pay full price despite completely messing up our order

🫤 This was my usual place to get pineapple bun with butter and Hong Kong style milk tea. With the pandemic, this was the first time I returned to Hong Kong after 4 years.
