Simple rooms but it's really all you need. It's literally right on the water so that really makes it nice. It's at the end of the base so fairly quiet, unless osprey ops are going on. TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, couch, dresser, night stands. Quite cozy. One of the downsides are the bathrooms are separated, like a dorm, but there is a sink in the room for washing up and whatnot. Check-in was a breeze, the staff was very nice and the price is right. This is our second stay and we'll come back again for sure. 4 stars only due to detached bathrooms. I'd recommend it to anyone.

For $80 a night it was clean and adequate. Our room had a king bed and a trundle for the pre pre teens. It had a sink, microwave, mini fridge freezer, two cups, one spoon and a small coffee maker with coffee provided. There were toiletries too and they were good. The common bathroom and shower room is basic and clean and the shower was hot and hard, no lack of water pressure for sure. It was super quiet for us, no air drills, but it is also very dark outside if you want to walk the beach, moonlight only. Tip: Only go to your room after you have gone to the market etc., it's definitely off the beaten path.

I always enjoy staying at the Cabanas. Communal bathrooms/showers and BBQ. Rooms are simple with a/c, 2 queen beds, sink, cable TV, towels. If you don't mind that this is a great place on the oceanfront.

If your'e willing to be a bit out of the way, experience a few bugs, maybe bites, other guest noise or aircraft/helo/training noise, it's a decent value for the area and nice main base/reservation desk staff. We too had bites, before any beach going etc, definitely looked like bed bug bites (trail, etc.) No daily cleaning, gaps in room doors & decrepid or no window screens. Mold in AC. Drop ceilings, seemed to hear some critters roaming up there at night, and fairly thin walls (converted old barracks). You have to cross and are near an active runway, so be prepared for possible delays coming/going and possible very late night manuever noise. The single community shower/toilet for multiple bldgs could be a little walk from your room. Nasty shower curtains and not the cleanest, but Good pressure and shower heads. This is a bay it is a bit rocky, suggest water shoes. Across base are a few nice beaches but w/zero shade.

Location to the water is great. Wish the bathrooms would be closer, but can't beat the location & price!

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice enough and it right on the beach which is nice! not as clean as I would have liked it to be. sheets are dingy and there was drink in my fridge someone had left so that tells me that it was not cleaned at all. No bathrooms in the rooms. shared restrooms that needs remodeling badly. But for $78 00 its good.

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days while waiting to be placed in housing. We booked with the inns at their main location, which is where we believed to be staying. Upon check in we were told we would be staying in the cabanas and handed a map, no other information was given to us about this location. Upon arrival we were disappointed about staying in a tin shack, once we entered the room we realized we had to use communal bathrooms, which were NEVER clean during my stay. The a/c was pretty strong, views were pretty but there were bugs in the room. There was a roach on my bed the first night and woke up with bite’s every morning. By the end of my stay my husband and I were covered in bug bites, though not sure what was biting us. Overall, I would avoid this location at all costs.

If there was the option of negative stars, I would have it. This is a hoax, I felt cheated. My husband and I made an online reservation at "Inns of the Corps" in the reservation they showed a room like a hotel, two queen beds, bathroom and even a stove we made the reservation and after a day at the beach with two tired children we went to check-in when we got there they left with that they were at capacity and that they would send us to "Cabins" they do not tell you anything at all, they just give you a map and the keys, imagining that it was something similar without knowing what we would find, to all this With the courage that how is it possible that it is at capacity and when you make the reservation they do not communicate or tell you that it is due to availability. We arrived at the place and it already looked terrible, we entered and we were surprised that it was a 10x10 room, there are no queen beds, there are no private bathrooms or showers, but rather it is a communal bathroom with communal showers and communal toilets. I can swear that both my husband and I felt that we went back to basics that there was no way to look at it on the positive side, it really was a nightmare. We proceed to call customer service to claim what they had done to us and no one could give an explanation of why we had run out of the reservation that we had made, much less a solution, according to them everything was full and that was what there was, practically if you want it take it otherwise get out, obviously I asked for my money back and we decided to leave because there was no way I was going to allow my children to spend a night there. For my husband and I it was an insult honestly.

The old barracks rooms are great little places to stay but they could be sealed up a little better, we had several lizards in our room at night 😳. Other than that, it’s a cute little place! Does get pretty warm cause the air conditioners are weak but we spent all day in the beach 15 feet away so it wasn’t a big deal.
