The food is good, roaches also love it. The boss says roaches are a normal phenomenon, only Americans would mind and call the police. The waiter only gave us a new pair of chopsticks and let us continue eating, without any disinfection. I am Asian but I also feel disgusted.

The owner is dishonest and it is such a scam. Do NOT bring your own ingredients to this place and ask them to cook. We wanted to bring in raw spotted prawns and called this place to ask about the processing cost. The business owner told us firmly there will be no charge. After we came in with raw prawns and done eating, the owner charged us 20 bucks per pound for processing the ingredients(by just boiling the prawns and not even some fancy way to cook). And keep saying there is no “free service”. Of course we know that, but can you please keep your own words? It is such a fraud. Don’t believe what the owner promises, especially when you want to ask them to process your own ingredients

The crab curry was terrific loved every bit of it. The fried rice smelled so good but the portion is too much for two people so be careful. We ordered the garlic shrimp oh my god. Heaven. Uncle was very friendly and have a mango too. It's a must visit if are in Honolulu.

Went with some friends for the first time in a long time. Food was better than I remembered. My favorite Vietnamese Street food by far is banh cuon, and this is the only place that I know that has it. We also had papaya salad with shrimp, crab curry, garlic shrimp, and greens. Everything was delicious and I will be returning soon. If you like Vietnamese food, you should go. If you like food but don't know if you like Vietnamese food, you too should go.

We ordered the crab curry. They didn’t inform us the price which is $78, and the dish was for 4-6 ppl but we only have two ppl. And we didn’t order Baguette but they served it without informing. Two small pieces are $7. I’m good with the price but I need transparency. Otherwise I feel cheated.

I can't rave enough about this place. Their food is amazing! Nice big portions and full of flavor. The owners were so nice and helpful, it felt like walking into my moms house for dinner. Highly recommend, you won't regret it!

The only reason I rate this place five star is because of the “life-changing” Crab Curry. It will change the way you eat curry forever. You would want this crab curry to take out, have fun with loved one or family, and friends at home in a rainy day. The toasted hot baguette dip in the savory curry sauce with aromatic crab meat cracking is heaven. Don’t forget your beer. And order extra baguettes. There are a thousand ways of curry, I know. But this is one of it you would never want to miss. Rainy day- take out- with hot baguette. Otherwise, they have good bathrooms to wash your hands in the restaurant.

Wow great Vietnamese food! That crab (market price) curry and bread was good! The shrimp soup with noodles was good too! The eggroll wrapped in lettuce yummy. She asked us if she wanted us to wrap each piece so she did. Good last vacation meal. Definitely will eat here again if I have a trip here the next time! After having a disappointment with the Korean food the night before..

Hands down best curry crab and best Vietnamese food in the city. Been coming here for 9 years now and they never fail to disappoint. Mr. Yu is the best. HE THE GOAT.

Crab curry is $78 and the bread is $7. A vegetable dish is $17 which I think it is too pricey. But the summer rolls are good.

Amazing service, incredible food! The people here are so incredibly sweet and caring. We felt like we were guests in someone’s home. Will def be back. And the crab curry was unbelievable.
