Ordered from this place on Quick Cuisine because of the free delivery and I was honestly pretty impressed. My wife got the BBQ sample platter and I got the loaded fries with beef, which was absolutely delicious. I also got the chicken tacos and I was impressed. I'd definitely suggest getting a half order of fries if you're going to be the only person eating them because its a big portion!

First time here, WE WILL BE BACK! The food is delicious and I appreciate how they keep the place clean and tidy. Many ways to order: in person, online, or there is a QR code on the tables:) Food came pretty fast, we ate there and they brought the food to us with gloves on:) We ordered (from the special menu) chicken on brioche bun with pepper jack cheese and honey buttered cornbread and (from the regular menu) Mixed plate (chicken and pork)😋. We live on island but visit Wahiawa sometimes, so this place has made it to our "go to list"🤙Friendly staff.

You can't go wrong with the mix plate. 1/4 chicken, pork, rice and mac salad. I was definitely full and left happy. There's plenty of seating and my order was filled very quickly. It's a good spot for lunch if you're in or around Wahiawa.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile now but too much has been going on that it was delayed till yesterday. Decided to try here for lunch and was not disappointed. Got takeout so as soon as i opened the bag and took out the contents a Bible Scripture was stamped on each box. It was a very pleasant surprise - John 3:16 is a scripture i know by heart and before we indulge in anything, we bow our heads to take a moment to give thanks to the Blessings we have in life. Mahalo for the wonderful reminder ! The Rib plate was delicious. Smokey and meaty. Very generous amounts of sauce were provided in containers for you to add to your preference. The sauce was a thinner consistency and I believe i tasted hints of molasses flavoring. The plate came with a scoop of rice and a cup of their chili which was good. The honey grilled cornbread was absolutely delicious !! A MUST try. And the half order of sweet potato fries were very good as well. I highly recommend trying here and look forward to trying other things on the menu in the future. As Always, support your local businesses!

Hands down our Favorite BBQ Chicken! It's smoked in a barrel which makes it so juicy and tender! The whole family loves it, plus the Sampler has pulled pork and shredded beef.. and there's quesadillas and nuggets for kids.. Plus their French Fries were perfectly fried.. the Kids Favorite!

Amazing. The chicken in a barrel meal Comes with a 1/4 lb of chicken, rice, and chili, we swapped the chili for their island Mac which was phenomenal. The chicken was fall of the bone and absolutely delicious. They have amazing house bbq sauce that goes perfect with the chicken and the onion rings which we loved as well. Absolutely should hit this little hole in the wall on your way to the dole plantation. One plate was enough for both me and my wife!

My wife and I stopped by one evening on our way back from the north shore. At first I was not sure what we were getting into. The place was empty, just us and employees Brandon & Charles. We gave it a shot anyway and I must say that this may have been the best food during our stay on Oahu. We got the sampler platter to share with mac and cornbread. All of the meats were were excellent and tons of flavor, the mac was very good, now for the highlight of the meal, their honey butter cornbread. This was recommended by one of the employees (Brandon I think). This alone was worth stopping by. We talked about the meal many times and the cornbread was alway at the top of our conversation. If I remember right the meal was $21.xx plus drink & tax. Think about that. Where else are you going to feed 2 people for $22 on Oahu and make it so good that you feel you must write a review? There was enough to even bring some back to the resort for a late night snack. A great tasting meal at an affordable price is always enjoyable but when you add in the great customer service from Brandon & Charles, this place should be on everyone's list that visits the island. At a minimum, stop by to say hi and GET SOME CORNBREAD!!!

Stopped by here on our way around the island, so glad we did! Pros: soft, tender, delicious barbecue served up quick by super nice people. We shared the sampler with sweet potato fries. The sampler includes chicken, beef and pork. Which one was best? No idea! Thinking back it’s too close to call! They were all sooo good! Cons: nothing if you’re not vegetarian!😆

We where driving by on our way to North Shore and saw Chicken in a Barrel, i had to slam on the brakes pull a U-turn and go back. So glad we did the food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome! The music was not to loud but just perfect like the food and staff where. If your on your way to surf or anywhere we would highly recommend this place!!!!!

Awesome, generiously portioned meats and great price and friendly staff (even by Hawaiian standards). Stop by you wont regret it

This place is surprisingly good. The loaded fries are AMAZING ,the chicken is juicy and tender . The honey grilled cornbread is GODLY. The pulled pork is juicy and it has favor. The pulled pork AND the bbq sauce a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL the recommend the sampler plate if you are new or wanting to try everything.

Got the sampler plate. Great way to try most of the meats. The ribs and chicken were my favorite. Was surprised how much I enjoyed the rice and chili together. Would come again.

It was great. The staffs were nice. Chicken was soft and not dry. Beef is a tad salty. The bean a tad sweet.

The food was Incredible. Never had anything like it. Very economically priced. A bargain I’d say. What really took our experience over the top was Harley. What an Amazing lady. So warm, so kind and so welcoming. This gal is just in another level when it comes to making you feel welcome. I’ll never forget her. We games as a family of 4 from Houston. Thank you Harley. You’re beyond AWESOME. We loved the food and the real treat was meeting you.

Tried their pop up tent on Schofeild so can't speak for this specific location. Huli huli chicken tasted authentic and exactly what I was craving. Mac salad was too heavy on the mayo for me.

Probably one of the best meals I’ve had while in Hawaii! The chicken was perfectly smoked! Definitely order the grilled honey cornbread! OMG! And the loaded fries was so delicious! Shoutout to Brandon for being the best server!

Omg...don't know where to start!!! Everything was amazing. BBQ had the best flavor..cornbread was at least 3 inches thick 😋 We drove 12 miles to try it out. So glad we did!! This was our first time eating here...will not be our last!!
