Ordered a tacos grande and a Cali burrito. Bill was over $30. Ended up with one taco lol. Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s good but the one taco for about $15 is not really worth it. I did get beans and rice but canโ€™t be that much ah? Check out the pic.

We ordered online. My husband went to pick up. After spending over $40, husband gets home and realizes we are missing the salsa (which we paid $1 for) and he didn't receive his horchata. Then open up the fries and there is a hair in the food. Now we dont have an appetite for any of it.

Pretty tasty food here for okay prices. Not a sit down, more casual vibes. I enjoyed the torta and meat options here! Salsa bar was pretty nice too.

Not the best Mexican spot. It's mediocre at its best. The bread taco taste weird, the drink sucks for sure except for the purple haze. The customer service was good tho and they did have good music. Other then that, I would not go back ๐Ÿ˜’

Decent Mexican food considering we are in Hawaii. Doesn't charge extra for all the additives and get you full. Not to mention you get a free bag of chips and salsa with food purchase.. I say it's a win. update: been pretty disappointed in this location the last couple times. I ordered nachos and got a bunch of tortilla chip crumbs. I ordered birra tacos with consome. The tacos was extremely small and so was the consome.

We ordered 15 tacos (Al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas) carne asada terrible & chewy, carnitas was tough and dry. Al pastor was sweet and actually good. Ordered a side rice and it was the size of the Dixie cups the dentist give you to rinse your mouth. Paid $65 for everything totally not worth it. Wonโ€™t return.

I ordered quesadillas, they were shaped like burritos, and the cheese inside was burnt. I can only assume they cooked the meat and cheese on the grill then wrapped it in a tortilla. ๐Ÿ˜’

I'm originally a Texas guy. I'm let down by Mexican food constantly that doesn't compare, but today that was not the case. Fantastic food, drinks, service, and environment. I'll definitely be back.

Great Little Mexican Spot here in Wahiawa. A friend first brought me here many years back for lunch and it was so good, that I have been coming here ever since. Last week I planned a Taco ๐ŸŒฎ Tuesday at my home. February 14 is Our Anniversary, so I needed to pick up a few desserts and some Jarritos drinks for the whole family. This was my first time getting desserts here and they did not disappoint. The Churros (Mexican Doughnut) were just made, hot, sweet & absolutely delicious !!! The Pan Dulce (Mexican Sweet Bread) was soft and yummy and my mom just loved the Flan ๐Ÿฎ (Mexican Caramel Custard) here. Of course, no Taco Tuesday is complete without the Jarritos. We had the Lime, Mexican Cola, Strawberry, Guava, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Watermelon & Fruit Punch. They sell Jarritos at stores but here they got just about all 12 flavors (Mango, Tamarind, Mandarin & Passionfruit are the ones we still need to try!!!) Nice and Clean, with nice employees too. If u enjoy good Mexican Food, come support this great local spot!

Great taste, small portions. I got the shrimp burrito here. I thought it tasted great. Everything was fresh and the sauce inside was nice and creamy. There was also a great shrimp to rice and bean ratio. The biggest downside for me was the portion size. I typically get a burrito because itโ€™s usually the most filling item on the menu. I walked away hungry and the burrito was just too small for $14.

Solid Mexican joint on Oahu! A little bit of a roast trip for us coming from Honolulu but we'll worth it. Go to cantina side for bar service and additional seating. We've been here twice now and will continue to make the trek as long as we're here. Birria tacos delicious, California burrito scrumptious, chile relleno off the charts! Just go you won't be disappointed.

I must say this place is a go to spot! We always come here for their taco Tuesday specials and the fajitas on other nights. The service is ehh but with the amount of business this place has I expect it. It does feel like a sauna in there but what what do you expect when the grill is right in front of you behind a glass wall for all to see! The only downfall is that the food is a bit over salted and sometimes can be too salty all together. If your just stopping by this is a go to spot in Central Oahu!

I tried nachos, birria and chicken tacos. Oh boy! none of them disappointed me. They have great collection of Frescas. I highly recommend it if youโ€™re to try their spicy sauces. ***Be Careful of that yellow sauce, itโ€™s extremely spicy***

I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas and the grande burrito!! I had no idea the Elote would be so spicy. We called and placed an order and it was ready right when we got there. This is my new go to Mexican restaurant!

If you're looking for a spicy hole in the wall Mexican cantina with excellent food and great service, look no further than El Ranchero. This hidden gem in a side street strip mall of Wahiawa offers up some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine I've ever had. The pork nachos are a must-try. The tortilla chips are piled high with perfectly cooked pork carnitas, melted authentic cheese, and all the fixings. The nachos are served with a side of salsa, which is made in house and is packed with flavor. I also highly recommend the tacos. The tortillas are soft and chewy, and the fillings are flavorful and generous. I tried the al pastor and the carne asada tacos, and both were amazing. The al pastor was juicy and flavorful, and the carne asada was tender and perfectly seasoned. The service at is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere is also great - it's casual and relaxed, and it's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican dining experience, be sure to check this spot out. You won't be disappointed! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Bonus: The 7, yes I said 7 salsas at are super flavorful and 5 are VERY hot, so be prepared! If you're not a fan of spicy food, you can ask for a milder/SWEET salsa. But if you love spicy food, be sure to try one of their signature salsas. Sweat on the brow is almost a guarantee ๐Ÿฅต๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

Nice little place. The food was great. I had the enchiladas with green sauce which was delicious. The seating was a little cramped but it was useable. The music was a little loud too but it wasnโ€™t too disruptive to conversation so thatโ€™s fine. All in all a great time and would recommend!

Food is good but they most often times forget food items and arenโ€™t willing to do anything about it, even the manager herself, which is highly disappointing

Great authentic Mexican food. The different types of salsa are all excellent. And they have some that are actually hot and spicy. Most other places only have mild and medium spice level salsa. Must stop every time in on Oahu.

Staff is great, even when shorthanded. We typically sit on the Cantina side. Food is always good. Not always easy to find good Mexican food on island, but you can here. We enjoy it often.

I was never one who would eat Mexican food typically but to expand my tastes, I dove right in and never looked back. Taqueria El Ranchero has some of the most flavorful Mexican food I've had on the island, safe bets would be the burritos but if you're more adventurous, try some of their specials. They also serve a side of nacho chips and provide more than just the red and green sauces. Definitely will come back again!

I was a little bit skeptical of Mexican food all the way out here, but it was pretty decent. They even had some fresh tortillas. My favorite thing was the Agua Fresca. Lots of options. They also had a nice selection of desserts. My fish taco was pretty tasty. The salsas actually had some spice. The black beans needed a little more love.

I definitely prefer the one in kapolei but I thought that the food quality was the same. This one is more like a dive bar style and the one in kapolei is more like a restaurant family style. I love the California fries with chorizo. Especially if you get them on happy hour for $5

Absolutely best Mexican food in island. Coming from a California native who has lived in Mexico and Texas. Only downside is their hours are never accurate. They close 2-3 hour early

Food is good. Workers are fast, they have it all set up for orders to be filled and out the door fast. So it sucks when you have all the other numbers called and you have to wait still. But I do recommend the place if you want to catch COVID. But the food is good.

We came here today for a late lunch. It was a little pack but our waiter was quite accommodating to us despite the crowd. Our food was delicious, plenty of portions offered, and the parking in the area where the restaurant is located had plenty of stalls to park. Worth to trip to visit here for lunch or dinner.

Gotten take out from here a few times now. The carne asada have been fantastic, as well as the birria. They have a variety of good sauces on the side available, as well as meat and menu options.

Nachos are BOMB exceeded my nacho expectations, Bf and I both agree probably 1 of the best nachos weโ€™ve ever eaten and weโ€™ve eaten a lot of nachos and for the price. So good. Staff were also the cutest just an awesome vibe all around.
