Pros: good location, parking validation available, up-to-date equipment and technology, open early, late and weekends, 6am discount, adequate cleaning, professional staff, quick to get in touch with a real person via phone. Cons: frequently break tools in teeth during root canal, long wait to talk with billing, like pulling teeth to get direct information from billing, do not consider what your insurance covers when making suggestions on dental procedures (ex, will try to offer you the largest out of pocket cost instead of what your insurance will cover). They will provide you with a summary of what your dental procedure will likely cost, but they do not tell you that there are cheaper options or that your insurance will cover other options unless you specifically ask multiple times. Summary: Great for a basic cleaning at a time that in convenient for your busy life, but for any major procedure such as a root canal/ pulled wisdom tooth go to an expert endodontist (which the dentist can refer you too upon request). And when told you need anything beyond a cleaning, ask a lot of questions, consult a second opinion, and request upfront what different options are available, and what your insurance would actually cover because they will likely not offer this information unless asked directly.

Holy cow this was the best experience with a dental office I’ve ever had! I get my teeth cleaned regularly every six months and was looking for a new dentist because I recently moved here. I found this place on Google with great reviews and thought I’d give it a shot. Super glad I did! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and the whole process was quick and thorough. Will definitely be coming back!

Ala Moana dental care is great! I really love how the staff is treating their patients. There are a lot of doctors on the floor. I love the accommodation and flexibility of the working hours of this business, like how they’re open on Saturdays and late nights on the weekdays. I also love that the business looks like they take care of their staff, they are always many assistance and and techs on the floor, and the staff never look like they are super tired due to the long flexibility of the business.

I’m using my husbands email, but today I got 3 back teeth extracted. It was aching a few days ago & my cheek started swelling. Anyways, the insurance I have is not in network with Ala Moana Dental Care but they provide in house insurance & were able to give me a good price. If I was rich, I would’ve gotten so much more done here. Though I could’ve gone somewhere that took my insurance, I felt more comfortable getting it done there due to bad experiences in other places. Ala Moana Dental Care is the only place my husband & I will ever go to for dental care. From the front staff to the ones in the back, exceptional. Appreciate you all.

Can't say enough about this incredibly efficient, kind and professional office. We had a dental emergency on vacation. A live person answered the phone immediately; they said absolutely, come in this afternoon. Then staff were just terrific when we got there and the dentist came up with a great solution to hold us til our return home for a more permanent fix. Just the best!

Open until 8pm daily is quite convenient and always able to get appointment. Validated parking in covered attached parking garage in busy Ala Moana shopping center area. Staff is professional and polite offering individual attention despite large office size. Recommend for dental care needs.

Had a dental issue that had been causing me daily pain for quite a while. On a Friday night I was able to schedule a new patient appointment for the following Saturday morning, and they had me taken care of and on my way within about an hour of arrival. They ran my insurance, and I only ended up needing to pay the tax for the services (about $35). Will definitely recommend them to my friends. 👍

Went in for a simple extraction. Dr Mandich was working on five other patients at the same time as me. Alot of my gums were cut out, and now the tooth next to the work will need to come out. I can see my tooth roots and it's painful. Just rushed bad work. Very disappointed.
