We went here rather than the Polynesian center because it is not far from Waikiki… boy are we glad we did!!! It’s smaller and more intimate than the center. Gorgeous location, watched the water and sunset while we ate. There were several tables with little activities, manned by the dancers, so we interacted 1:1. The show was engaging, and felt authentic. John John and Cousin Kelani were so funny and entertaining. The food was good, drinks were reasonably priced, music was nice. Great experience!

We had such a fun night here. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Best to get here a bit earlier before they start to serve dinner as there are some cultural activities to participate in. Dinner was buffet style and was delicious. The performance told a story of all of the pacific islands and their cultures and dancing styles. The dancers were so talented and the host was a blast. Definitely would recommend if you are staying in Waikiki

Really enjoyed the luau! Definitely think the celebrity seats are worth the price since you’re already paying $100+ anyway. Cultural activities: Definitely come earlier so you can enjoy all of them and chat with the performers. They are all so nice!! If you come right on time, you will miss some of the pre show. Activities include: making your own cofounder leaf headband, making your own lei bracelet, playing with some of the musical instruments that the band will use, and getting temporary tattoos. Dinner: In celebrity seating, dinner gets brought to you so you don’t need to wait on line. The “two drinks per person” is only if you get basic (not signature) drinks. It’s basically a voucher for $16. Basic drinks are $8 each and signature drinks are $18. That price does not include tax and tip. But the complementary mai tai is nice. Performances: Very fun, entertaining, and talented group! I’m so impressed that there were 8 main dancers throughout the whole show- doing costume and makeup changes between acts. MC was great. Fire performances occur near the end. Snack bag and souvenir gift: The snack bag is a bag of Hawaiian chips and chocolate. The souvenir is a pin. All in all- the celebrity seating is worth the price because of the closer view to the performers. If you’re there for the food and the vibes more than a closer look at the show, then I think the basic package is fine. The shell lei was cuter than I expected when I saw others wearing them.

Had a great time watching the show. The entertainers were fabulous. They kept the show running in a fun and thoughtful atmosphere. The seating was not optimized but alright. Lines tended to be long and signage needs to be better. Altogether a lovely experience.

Touristy? Yes. Legitimately talented performers? Yes AF. The food was typical conference fare and the drinks like all other fruity drinks in tourists spots. You pay for the show here, and it’s worth it. We paid a bit more for the “celebrity” seating (table service, in close seating), but got them via Groupon, so total price was inline with base retail tickets. The performers were top notch, while I haven’t a clue about the cultural authenticity of their numbers, their routines obviously required serious dance training. Very impressive. The show mixed in a nice mix of light education (about Polynesian geography and history) with great dancing and solid humor/crowdwork. “Cousin Apu” is a rock star. He was funny, a talented dancer, and could fly up a coconut tree to boot. He can definitely carry his own show. We were worried our 8 and 14 year olds wouldn’t enjoy, but between the activities and the show (the food was not for a child’s palate), the enjoyed it as much as we did. Temper your expectations about the food and enjoy the show! Definitely recommend.

I'm pretty sure this was the best luau in Honolulu. I loved the food, atmosphere, the dancers and cocktails. My only complaint is that the lines for activities and drinks were long-ish, but I do think they handled all of us as efficiently as possible. I had a fantastic time and I hope to be back again someday. Mahalo!!

Great food and service, friendly staff, and a very organized event. The food is so delicious and flavorful. Fabulous emcee, talented band and drummers, beautiful dancers, and skilled fire knife dancers. Such an amazing experience! Highly recommend

Awesome show. Not only entertaining but also informative. The staff, the performers are all amazing! The food was a buffet style. It was not great but we were there for the entertainment not food. This is one of those, you gotta experience at least once while in Honolulu.
