P&J has relocated to the Ala Moana Hotel on the same floor and location as their Starbucks. Park at the mall for free parking as they don’t validate and aren’t part of the hotel. All our favorites have returned. I love the fried pickles but i think the winner is their seasoned fries. There is an extensive drink menu with Dave still there. The fish was crispy and flaky. Shrimp bruschetta tasty, crispy and delish. Their speakeasy Harry’s opens next month and unbeknownst to them shhhhh…i saw it behind one of their beautiful displays of whisky. They only have 2 bathrm stalls and they are unisex with the sink being outside. That would probably be the only downfall as I had to wait a bit before some exited and a line formed behind me.

I came here mainly for drinks. I got two old fashioneds. It was technically brunch time when I ordered the first one, so it came with a shot of orange juice, which I thought was a little odd, but it tasted surprisingly good with the whiskey. I also ended up ordering some barbecue fries, and they legitimately might have been the best fries I've ever eaten! I didn't even need to dip them in any sauce. Service was a little slow, especially considering the place wasn't that busy at all, but the food and drinks were tasty, and I liked the vibe of the place - it seemed like a nice mix of locals and tourists. Also, this place is very easy to miss, especially if you're driving. It's in an area where you wouldn't expect a cool bar to be. But trust your map - it's there.

My favorite on the island. Great food, with the largest whiskey/bourbon menu i have ever seen. The owner has specialty whiskeys that you can’t get elsewhere. Atmosphere and service were fantastic.

This is NOT your typical hotel bar... probably because it used to be located elsewhere & just happened to find new, bigger quarters at the Ala Moana hotel. The scotch selection alone with make any connoisseur's heart beat faster (kinda wanna be locked in there for a week and try them alllll), the cocktail menu is eclectic & fun, and the bar staff friendly & knowledgeable. The beer leans heavily towards IPAs and pale ales, both of which I despise, but their "The Floor is Guava" sour was so good I got two :-) The food looked pretty great all around, and the seafood cakes with tobiko vinaigrette and caper sauce were fantastic: crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. The scotch egg comes highly recommended, so that'll be the next thing to try. Opening hours are also longer than most hotel bars I've been to. Really excellent.

Good food, friendly atmosphere, delicious drinks, and timely service. This place is famous for the best cocktails in Hawaii, along with the other big players, but there will always be respect for Dave Newman. Hats off for another great recreation of what he had at the precious location. 👏

What a great place! Loved the ambience and cozy feeling. The bartenders and owner were all very personable and made us amazing drinks. We had the shrimp bruschetta and Scottish eggs, both were scrumptious.

I stayed in the hotel attached on a business trip. I showed up on a busy weeknight and almost couldn't get a spot, even for one, at the bar. Fortunately I snuck into a corner. The bourbon and burger were both incredible. Beautiful location too!

The world food travelers stopped off at Pint & Jigger in the Ala Moana Hotel. It took a while to find the place … the male half of the duo doesn’t ask for directions and the better half was given erroneous information. It’s in the Kona Tower of the hotel on the ground floor. We were seated at the left end of the main room, just before an area that can be curtained off for private parties, on a bar seating. The drink menu (the larger of the two) is in various fonts and it took us a while to find suitable cocktails. We prefer a bottle of red but there weren’t any on the menu and I didn’t ask. So, a Moscow Mule for the lady and a Hendricks gin & tonic for me. We ordered the Brandy and Bacon Strawberries, Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts and the Marrow of Bone (2 bones) to start. The strawberry dish arrived first … It looked like dessert. Pieces of strawberries and bacon in a brandy sauce with a dollop of strawberry mascarpone. The bacon was delicious! The pan roasted Brussel sprouts arrived next and they were sweet and well charred. The sauce from the strawberry dish was great on the Brussel sprouts. The bones were petite; we’ve had larger at other places for less money. They were accompanied by eight pieces of toasted baguette with shredded pecorino cheese atop. This dish was fine but not special. Another drink was followed by the Whiskey Flambéed Mushrooms and the Mesquite BBQ flavored Waffle Fries. The mushrooms tasted like escargot; we liked this dish! The fries tasted exactly like BBQ potato chips. I never use ketchup but the Mesquite BBQ powder on the fries made the ketchup taste like BBQ sauce. We topped off our meal with the Chocolate Stout Bread Pudding. It came with pieces of candied bacon and some kind of clotted cream on top. I don’t like bread pudding but I loved this one. Final thoughts … I wish we had a larger table to make it easier to place our food and drinks. The food is interesting in a good way. My least favorite dish was the bone marrow; mainly because there wasn’t enough marrow in the petite bones. (I only needed one piece of toast.) And, I wish there were a greater selection of wines. Yes, the name should have told me what kind of drinks they offer.

Great place to have a drink and food. We got there right when they opened because the reservations were all booked up when we were trying to book a same-day table. They were able to seat us right away. They have a great selection of cocktails and whiskey. My wife had a spicy margarita with fresh jalapeños that was delicious. We had their waffle fries with spicy Sriracha sauce and those were perfect to munch on while eating. 10/10 will come again.

Finally made it to a table. Reaervation issues are still a thing. My server Mathew was super friendly and knowledgeable. Aside from chosing an amazing whiskey, provided perfect suggestions for the food! The bone marrow is so soft and buttery. And the Scotch egg, perfectly cooked. I will say the cucumber that came with it seemed a weird extra. But it did well to clean the pallet. Overall wow! I will bring friends next time.

First time that we stopped for the weekend brunch. They have a good selection on the food & drinks menu. The food we ordered was really good. This is the place where we will definitely be back.

Such a great place. Staff and drinks = on point. Will not disappoint. Definitely recommended. I tried a few bourbon but can't wait to come back for some food. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday looks delish.

Best meal I’ve had in memory! Was a bit apprehensive, as a New York City based foodie who had seen the gastropub scene 10-15 years ago and felt like food might be dated. But boy was I wrong. Scotched egg was perfect with a kahlua pork Hawaiian twist. Bone marrow was an amazing reminder of why the bone marrow craze got so big back then. Drinks were balanced and creative and perfect. Good smoky manhattans, complex modern flavors. Oh other highlight was vegan beet poke!!

This is a really nice find that we didn't expect as we were waiting for our reservations at another place. The fried pickles are awesome and the drinks delicious. I had two different drinks but I definitely recommend the lilikoi drink. Our server, Preston, was awesome and recommended both my drinks. Honestly, his service is what took this place from a 3/4 to a certain 5.

Went here for some cocktails and they were so good had to visit a second time. The cocktails are all great concepts and of s much better quality than you'll find in the bars of waikiki. The staff were super friendly and help gove recommendations of other great places to eat and drink. The beer and cider is also too notch and try the frickles if you can!

Pint and Jigger moved into this location recently and it’s very well appointed and designed. Located in the hotel, it is a great little spot. The drinks and food are all amazing. It’s pricier but the staff, food, and drinks are very good. I got fish and chips and bone morrow! Bone morrow was very delicious. For drinks I got both of the old fashions and the espresso martini!

I was introduced to this place when it was still on King St. I love the set up ambiance and set up of the restaurant and love their menu choices. The service is very welcoming, friendly and super helpful. Great place to take a date or a night out with a group of friends.

If you are a resident of Hawaii, it's best to avoid this place entirely as you would often find obnoxious drunk tourists that management will cater more towards to. Save yourself the trouble and find a nice local bar.

Cool interior. Friendly staff. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food is average at best for the price. Nothing special. They do NOT validate parking and ended up paying $18.

This place is absolutely on my top 3 places to eat on Oahu. I've waited patiently for the new location to open at least 6 months. But gooood lawd let me say they truly delivered the goods when I had my first visit. I was greeted by a beautiful friendly hostes who welcomed me and seated me quickly as I mentioned how hungry I was. I do not drink alcohol but if I did I would be in hog heaven with all the different types of spirits that they had displayed. I was in need of some real comfort food so I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the fish and chips. I've gotta say it was a southern boys heaven. The biscuits were cut in half and toasted to perfection with plenty of bacon gravy to have just enough left over to complete the last bite. The fish and chips were absolutely perfect not greasy and fresh fish like they just brought it in from the fish market. The coleslaw was very tasty and fresh and to top it off the French fries tasted like they cut them themselves. Oh almost forgot to mention Fernandez and Matt were right there at the bar making sure I had plenty of refills on my Arnold Palmer made from fresh lemonade and tea. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for an awesome experience

(I wasn’t able to ever visit the old location so I can’t compare it to that.) Good experience here! Server was kind, efficient, and VERY knowledgeable. All drinks were very tasty and well balanced. The Venti coffee drink and Espresso Martini were two very smooth coffee drinks that were probably the favorite of the group. Fried pickles were a lot better than I had anticipated! I like the shuffleboard situation as well- nice + unique touch.

I definitely recommend this place! Excellent drinks! Open till late even Monday’s and Tuesday’s! Food is good! I’ve been here several times, and always love to come back! Prices are good, $10 for a hand crafted cocktail is super good for hawaii! And the quality is really amazing! Best burger in town! The pork was reaaaaally good! And the simmer skillet is a must!

Brunch menu is fantastic. High quality coffee. Nice long picnic table seating, booths, tables, cocktail tables, and ample bar seating. Shuffleboard table. Working on their Ocean Friendly Restaurant status.

It was the first time going to this place, and the whole point was I was looking for some sort of Burger and Fry joint. So, my friend recommended this place and so we went. As it turns out from reviews this is quite popular, and rightfully so. While there was a wait for a table, it wasn't too long. They have a legit shuffle board as well as a variety of beer to choose. So we drank and played; good fun and before we knew it we were seated. As busy as it was drinks kept coming and the staff were quite proficient at seating. The food was superb, and while the ambience was loud it was the right fit for the place; casual with a touch of class. All around it's a great place outside of Waikiki to hang, eat and drink.

Up In Smoke dinner... No words how amazing that experience was... Okay okay the chef did something I didn't expect which was pair smoked beer with smoked courses... I'm still trying to wrap my head and pallette... And I'm trying to find out if I could experience this dinner again asap or if it's a "one and done" type of feature.... I'm so amazed... The pork belly... I had to treat it like freakin' creme brulee where I tapped the skin with my fork and it cracked like the candied top layer of the dessert... The beer pairings were on point. I want to experience this again

Super chill gastropub. Solid drinks - had a smoked manhattan. Sister had a grilled fish with mango salads and spinach salad with fried onions and almond slivers. I had blackened fish sliders and bone marrow with chimichurri. Good service, friendly bartenders. Parking lot outside.

Always an enjoyable experience, food, wide range of beers and spirits. Except of course like any place else when it gets crowded. Then it's just the crowd that makes it bleh. Wait staff has always been great and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable about the beverages, almost like chemists. Been here several times, at different times, and is definitely a favorite. Chill serve and enjoy.
