😠 Used to go here since it was one of the only places on island to find a shawerma. No simple covid safety protocols in place, you can only imagine what else they are letting slide. Do not recommend. People often mention good, delicious, wraps, chicken,

The food was delicious and left me craving for more several hours later. The staff was very friendly and helpful in avoiding allergens pulling up ingredient lists as needed when unsure. Additionally the portion size for the amount of food was great! Will go again and highly recommend to others.

The food is good, but I can't believe the owner doesn't care about the public's health and not wearing a mask at all. I will not go back to this restaurant ever.

Pita plate has an overkill of pita but better too much than too little I guess. The Lamb and Beef is addicting.

Very outspoken on their antivax stance. I think they were on the news for that and also for getting a food card for health violations. As a nurse, it saddens me because I used to love coming here. Never will again.

I used to go there once a week, but recently I've noticed the one guy (who I think is the owner) refusing to wear a mask despite dealing directly with food. On top of that, they put up a sign that read "Seating is for UNvaccinated patrons only. Vaccinated patrons can only sit if they swear they have not persecuted our unvaccinated brethren in the past 72 hours." Everyone has the right to their opinion and the right to be unvaccinated, but when you run a business you cannot allow your personal politics to get in the way. Write to your City Councilperson, protest at the Capitol, do whatever you want, but leave politics at the door. Otherwise, you lose customers like me. It's a shame since the food was amazing.

This place was actually pretty tasty, I found it walking\waiting to get a cut from vintage barbers. I absolutely love Mediterranean food and this spot really came through. I had the rice plate with chicken and I inhaled it🤗.

Omg. I don't normally like writing positive reviews, but omg I haven't used this phrase in a long time. The food is "broke da mout" soooo delicious! Ordered through doordash, which is so easy, all the sides are listed to add or take away, they take special instructions as well. Basically they're willing to cater to the customer. I have to say that when you have a person who is super picky, and they actually loved the food, that's gotta speak volumes about how tasty it is. The food is SOO ONO! OMG! I think I'm a tiny biased torwards Mediterranean food, but it really is that good. The meat is moist and seasoned super good, and saffron rice, the pita bread, the sandowhich, the cilantro sauce, spicy sauce, everything was Soo good. If you have hankering for mediterranean food, MAKE THE DRIVE! P.S. Prices don't break the bank!

The food here is always on point! Favorite spot downtown for sure! They cut the rice plate in half and kept the price the same but honestly I’m still coming back lol. We come here at least 1-2x a week!

Great food! The lunch rush is crazy....if you can get through via telephone that would be best. The food is worth it, just give yourself some time.

Best one on island. I used to live in Berlin for about 7 years total, this place is legit. I agree with the Turkish commenter that the meat is good, but probably the way they keep prices low is to give a little less meat than they should for an authentic Berlin Döner. So what you gotta do is pay extra for extra meat, then it's perfect. I also appreciate their option to add avocado, which I've never seen in Berlin. Viel Spaß damit!

Best Mediterranean food I’ve had on the island. I’m Greek so I can tell when it’s good quality. Sauce on point salad was fresh and both the chicken and lamb were well seasoned. Lived here 3 years and just found this place but glad I did. Gonna keep coming back

The food was wonderful. I have lived here 6 months now and about 500 feet from this place but didn't know it was here. I had a chicken sandwich and a side of fries. Sandwich looked delicious and tasted as good as it looked. I usually don't like big thick fries but these were delicious. Must be whatever they cook them in. Staff was very friendly. I recommend giving this place a try of you like delicious sandwiches and wraps. Will be back!

A fantastic hidden treasure located just off Fort Street Mall. In an area full of good lunch spots, it takes alot to stand out, and Döner Shack does just that. The wrap I enjoyed was fantastic. This diamond has turned me into a repeat customer. Fantastic Mediterranean Cuisine!!!

Love these guys! They accept everyone here. Teller was extremely kind. Food was delicious. They have pita bread, but it's the thick kind that isn't used for wraps. For wraps, they use tortillas. It was delicious; I'd have preferred pita bread for the wrap, but it was sufficient. I'll probably get the plate next time since my family members liked those too. This resturant deserves your support. They are one of the last few restaurants with Aloha where EVERYONE is treated with dignity and respect. Thank you!

A refreshing return to normalcy when I walked in and was greeted by a kind face rather than someone hounding for my medical vaccination status. Staff was was very friendly and the servings were huge. The food is absolutely fantastic, my friends and I enjoyed every bite. Will definitely be coming back again, and I absolutely love how this business values the comfort of its guests over unconstitutional mandates.

Excellent customer service! It’s obvious that all employees here are extra hard working. Food is incredible!! I love me the chicken doner wrap and shack salad (:

Amazing lunch spot. They care about the safety of their food, not silly mandates that don't actually make anyone safer. Keep on rocking.

This place never misses!! Their plates are large servings at a great price. Great customer services as well. Parking may be hard to find , but you will be glad you did once you visit.

Falafel are best I've had on island but wraps come in tortillas as apposed to traditional donors. Disappointed at lack of authenticity but flavor was spot on

Haven't had a Döner in about 8 years, and these are just as good as in Europe! Well definitely be back to try their wraps and shwarmas.

There is a reason this place is out the door during lunch. Food is tasty, and service is good. Location at intersection of Fort Street and Pauahi, so it is in downtown Honolulu. It is convenient if you work downtown but not so much if you don't. Menu has plates and wraps based on the meats served (beef/lamb kabob and chicken shwarma). Canned drinks are available in the fridge and seem to vary. I lucked out and saw some orange Jarritos. I prefer the wraps, but my coworkers always seem to get the plates. I'd say it was 75%/25% wraps to plates the day I went. Lamb/beef wrap for $12.50 is not bad and green sauce since it was less spicy than the red. Get there before 11AM most days, and you are good. 12 Noon is a killer line, but it comes and goes in waves. sondont be afraid to wait a little. If there is a line 20 deep, I would come another day. Some people like me were ordering for the whole office so it can be deceptive with the line. Seating is limited, and most people take out their food. Will be back again.
