We found and rented this condo unit very last minute after our plans were changed for us by the Oh so Kind and Understanding folks of Kauai. Anthony turned our whole trip around in an instant. He picked us up from the airport personally and made sure we were comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about Anthony and his family! Amazing man, very kind and gracious, very accommodating and generous with his local knowledge. Seriously, he went above and beyond what was needed/required from a host. The building is centrally located for extremely easy walking access to several beaches, foodland grocery store, a large mall and Waikiki Beach and all the main brand businesses on the strip. The building has 24/7 security and requires a fab to gain access to the elevators. The 5th floor has a nice pool, two laundry facilities, two restrooms,a BBQ area with tables and a general area to relax outside. Each condo room has a small balcony and an AC unit. Our unit had a lovely small kitchenette, a large refrigerator, a large TV, and a nice bathroom. For the price, you can't beat it.

We have stayed here in the past and it's a great place to stay in Hawaii, however it depends on which unit you stay at. Last time we got a one bedroom and it did have its pros and cons.. But this time we got a studio and let me tell you it was teeny tiny. However the best part about this place is the location and the view. So I'm giving the stars for the room but for the view and location I would have to give it more stars!

Pros- very affordable if you’re in a budget, everything is in walking distance, main bus routes are less than a 10 min walk, has everything you need like mini kitchen but 10x better than a hotel for sure. The views outside your room are really beautiful. Cons - staff is rude, check in is really late exactly at 3pm nothing earlier, the hallway and the elevator look beat down, they have scheduled water shut downs. Overall I thinks it’s good for the price and area in which is located. Better than the $300/night at a regular hotel. I booked thru Expedia 2 months in advanced.

Family member arrived yesterday. Booked in September for 2 month vacation. Hair on floor in fridge and in the bed. Dirt and sand on floor and in the couch. Toilet not working. Public restrooms on 5th floor and only open 7 or 8 am - 5 pm Hope you don't have to go after that.

The livability at Inn on the Park is beyond reproach. Eminently resourceful Cable TV access (Spectrum Cable) will brilliantly afford everything going on in the world with ever reliable art and depth. The luscious 5th floor swimming pool (heatable) downstairs is forever available for intensive daily laps. The talented maintenence staff is impeccable - every Christmas a ferocious most thoughtfully decorated ten foot Christmas tree - the three elevators & ample washers and dryers always work surprisingly well. Even the guests are notably well behaved. Hilton Hawaiian Village is right accross Ala Moana Blvd to add a full bit of class. Indeed the Ala Moana Shopping Center itself with all its super destiational surrounding amenities (e.g., the Don Quixote store!) is just a ten minute hop. Super frequent #2 buses nearby ply South Beretania Street to downtown; the #4 line now serves the University of Hawaii directly; and the #23 route just out front rips to none less than Sandy Beach and Makapuu. These are studios so of course affordability always factors in.

Place is infested with roaches, they are literally everywhere. Maintenance does not like to fix the washers in the laundry room. Pretty much every washer doesn’t work properly, this is like the 5th different washer I’ve used where I have to ring my cloths out before I can put them in the dryer.

One of the shadier places to stay, but that's why we are here isn't it. Get to know the locals they're very loving, and lovely people. The local haunts, and hauntings alike. Inn on The Park is by far still authentic to Old school Waikiki, And one of the best decks no doubt.

Me and my family went up the ramp and this security with really bad attitude and she’s kinda big , told us with an attitude we can’t park here you have to get out now, without any warning or notice , no aloha spirit at all and never going to stay there , bad aloha spirt and bad attitude means no business , check yourself before you reck yourself. aloha spirt is always needed. Leave your job if you don’t like it

Great location, close to the beaches and the main Waikiki shopping district (which can get super busy so be warned!) The building is secure with 24/7 manned reception area. There is a small swimming pool on floor 5 and a large car park within the building. On floor 5 you will also find the laundry service with a lot of machines available. The complex was clean with recycling cupboards at the end of each floor by the lifts. On the ground floor there is a shop just outside (selling souvenirs) and an attraction booth for booking activities. The views, on either side of your apartment, are very good and the air con units provide relief from hot days and humid nights.

It's not bad if you're going to keep moving around in Hawaii. It can be cheaper to use a third party site than Airbnb.

Stayed here at an Airbnb for two weeks. The room itself and the view was great. But the building security was power tripping for no reason, they wouldn't let me park an electric motorcycle rental in my reserved spot, had to return the rental early. No reason given besides "this is how it is". Also the shared pool area is redone but not good. It's cold and always in the shade, only used it for like 1 min.

I love this building but “security” is really rude (mid fifties and grey hair). I’m staying with my friend who is a tenant here and apparently he’s been told about people “hanging around” like I was having a party in the lobby. I was using “his plug” to charge my dead phone so I wouldn’t be hanging around in “HIS lobby.” I am staying with my friend for a few days because everything I own was stolen, including my car keys. To tell I am so screwed right now is an understatement and I have nowhere to go or sleep. I was so quietly charging my phone he didn’t know I was there. Then he treated me like a junked out chronic and I was about to set camp in his lobby. Someone on here said it… if you hate your job so much get a new one. It costs nothing to be kind. You don’t know what someone is going through. I’ve been crying for days and everything I have worked so hard for is gone and it sucks really bad to be treated like I’m not even a person. Last thing is anytime I stayed here (and the thousands I’ve spent doing so) I have always been really nice to him. It’s become a theme… anyone in customer service will be really ugly to you no matter how nice you are to them.
