Came here during happy hour and made reservations at 1030 pm, but had to wait an extra 15 minutes to be seated. We were sat in the corner and had a very unhappy waitress. The food came out very slowly, though it was somewhat busy, so it was understandable. Cooking the food was a hazard. Firstly, we could not see how done the food was done because the lighting was so dark. There were pools of fat and oil around the grill and would shoot at us. As we were flipping the meats, oil actually hit us multiple times. The options were limited and meats were ok. In the end we were charged the wrong price and had to ask the on duty manager to adjust it. Overall it was a bad experience and do not recommend this location.

#grateful Had an awesome experience eating with two awesome people. Our server was the man! If you can get a table in Jose’s section do it. He’s been there 3 years. The food was plentiful, and the ambience really cool. There’s all this super authentic graffiti covering the inside, and there are always parties and celebrations inside.

Food is delicious, but I feel like they've made the portions smaller and now charge for everything, including banchan. I do like that they're open pretty late and the line to get in usually moves quickly. They have great employees and they work really hard here. There is little parking around the back and side of the restaurant but I usually find street parking and then walk. The late night prices and all you can eat for $25 so we usually go after 1030pm. Also, when the place is packed and everyone is cooking, it can get a little uncomfortably warm inside.

Definitely worth it, even more so when it's cheaper before 3 pm. The quality of the meat was good and the side dishes were also tasty. We ordered the marinated kalbi, marinated brisket, and the bbq chicken. With tofu soup, french fries, and house salad as sides. This was my first all you can eat korean barbecue experience and it was fun. My family loved the fact that we could cook our own meat to our taste. Definitely would return if were ever back in Honolulu.

Disappointed. That is my word for this restaurant. It was so much better when it was called. “6-7-8” years ago. If you fell in love with that Korean BBQ you will be disappointed with the changes. It is now all you can eat and while the meat was fine, it has lost its allure. I would no longer recommend this restaurant. The all you can eat menu is now $27 per adult. Not sure why they offer Australian beer but they do, and graffiti in bathrooms is less than inviting.

First time we ever had Korean BBQ. It was an amazing experience. It was all you could eat. Our server was amazing. He recommended the spicy seafood soup and it was very tasty. My only suggestion would be for the shrimp to be peeled for you prior to cooking. Very busy place. Definitely make reservations ahead of time.

Great affordable KBBQ! Would recommend going earlier because the line gets huge later. We got there around 6PM and waited for 15 mins to be seated. We left around 7:45PM and there was a huge line outside.

I came here instead of GEN because I wanted a more local homey experience. This place was excellent. As a solo traveler, it's hard to find solo AYCE KBBQ mainland. This place charged me $33 which I found acceptable. The waitresses and staff were charming and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back whenever I come to town.

Super fun eating experience. This was our first time having Korean BBQ. You have 90 minutes to eat and it’s all you can eat too! Very affordable price as well. I think it was $28 or $30 per person. The employees were very attentive, friendly, and they have buttons as well in case you need something before they come back around. My favorite was the bulgogi, garlic shrimp, and the cheesy corn.

Value wise, this KKBQ place is pretty good. Made a reservation for 5:30pm as we were wrapping up some hiking and came famished. I was put off by the 3 meats/3 speciality items at a time (e.g., lettuce wraps are more of a side, why is that counting against me...?) But didn't run into any issues while ordering with the server. You arrive to the table with Mac n cheese and cheesy corn already in the grill - the server comes after and pours in the egg. All of these cook while you eat and capture the grease from your meats. If you don't eat these soon though, they tend to crisp up and can burn by the end. I appreciated the many sides and sauces you can order. I love love LOVE that they have pre-roasted garlic. Like I hate having to wait to cook raw ones and take up valuable real estate on the grill, so having it come already cooked and develop that roasted flavor is awesome. Pickled jalapeños were also good with good spice. What I didn't enjoy, however, was the mixed salad. It's essentially spring mix with their house dressing, but what's annoying is that half of it will be wilty or gross with the dead sludgy leaves. Like I had to pick them out, which ended up being like half the salad each time. The meat quality was pretty good with your standard picks of brisket, bulgogi, kalbi, steak, pork belly, etc. Shrimp come with shells on, which is kind of annoying to take off as you just wanna eat them but gotta wait for them to cool down. We also ordered the Terra beer, which instead of a pitcher came out in a big plastic bottle. Servers were attentive and frequently changed out the grills after they start to burn, especially after marinated meats. Someone mentioned this in another review, but there is indeed a hole at the bottom that spurts out hot grease - this happened multiple times where I felt a stinging sensation while eating....quite a PITA. Parking also seems to be a pain.

Really enjoy Sura! The AYCE menu is identical for lunch and dinner. But lunch is much cheaper! They have only so many meats but the standards of brisket and pork belly are available! My favorite thing is the ayce corn cheese with it!

I haven't been to sura since 2019 and it has changed A LOT. The all you can eat menu had changed so much that I was disappointed. I understand the price hike because of inflation and rising costs, but the options has dwindled so much that it's not enjoyable for me anymore. I loved their pork jowl and galbi before and now they don't even offer jowl and their galbi quality went down so much. You could hardly taste the difference between the galbi and the bulgogi. The service was really great though and very attentive. Everything came out really fast but I just feel like the quality in food went down that it doesn't justify the price sadly. There are a few parking stalls out front and back, but you can park at the edge of ala Moana (near Macy's) and just walk the five minutes there too.

This was a great fun eating experience. The meat was choice. The rice kept coming. The sauces were deliceous. The service was excellent, always checking on you and pro-active with replacing the grill-top. The atmosphere wasn't quiet, but not in a bad way; lots of laughter and people enjoying themselves. And if you want to leave your mark, sign something on the wall!

We bumped into this place after a 13-mile walk. We were looking for some AC and a cold beer. My wife and I eat a keto/carnivore diet often. This place hit the soft. Lisa was our server, and she was excellent. It was fun to cook our meat the way we liked it. The sauces were excellent. We chose the shaved brisket, spicy pork belly, and steak. It was all very good. That said. I wouldn't do the steak again. Mixing the sauces and then putting the rice in the sauce was a perfect way to carry the flavor into the lettuce wraps. A small bit of rice with the meat on top was delicious. Don't let the grungy appearance fool you. It was a very good place to eat and the staff were nice. We noticed a lot of locals eating lunch there. That is always a good sign.

Amazing AYCE Korean bbq. Make sure you book a reservation beforehand as it gets busy! Ryan, our sever gave top notch service! Definitely a keeper within the service industry! 🤙 You get limited time at your table, so it was like a game my partner and I had to conquer together. How much delicious food can you consume before you tap out, caveat, in 1.5 hours. All of the food and sides were so delicious! I’d have to say, the downside was peeling our cooked shrimp (it took us awhile as it was hot and the shell stuck to the skin). I believe this is what happens when the shrimp is super fresh then cooked immediately. Not a bad experience though! We love fresh food!

We had a really good experience here. It is way better than the overly hyped Gen B.B.Q. Price is reasonable, staff were friendly, and the food quality was as expected. The parking situation isn't so bad if you don't come at peak hours like we did. Overall, this is our new favorite spot for KBBQ. I will definitely bring and tell my friends about this place.

The huge shrimp were fresh and sweet, brisket and steak were good too. Service was extraordinary wait staff were attentive. Overall it beats our expectation in every way.

This is such a fun experience!! Each table has a grill in the middle where you cook your own meat. With delicious mac and cheese, corn and cheese and eggs cooking around the outside. Delicious! But don't sleep on the other items on the menu. The garlic shrimp bibimbap was so good!

This restaurant is AYCE and you’re able to eat until you’re stuffed for up to an hour and a half. There’s many sides and meat to pick out. For 2 people, we were only able to eat one round of food. If your don’t eat everything, there is a $10 leftover fee. I liked the restaurant when it wasn’t AYCE. I feel like the meat had more flavor then. A lot has changed from when we went often a few years ago. Be sure to book a reservation as the place gets crowded quickly!

No banchan. No banchan? No Banchan!!! Weird little grill that was preloaded with scrambled eggs, Mac and cheese, and corn and cheese, as an app of sorts... Dine in, is AYCE so it's baffling there is no banchan. Service was great, food better than okay, but to me KBBQ is all about the banchan...

The price for AYCE was reasonable, but food was actually just ok. . But the staff are awesome that I actually did not mind how mediocre the food was. I would come back again.

Reasonably priced, well worth it! Service couldn't have been any better, our waitress was incredible. Food was fantastic. Marinated Prime Beef and Kalbi were our favorites. We've been to other Sura's and many Korean BBQ restaurants in the past, this one definitely rates near the top!

Pretty good kbbq and decent pricing for late happy hour dinner (after 10:30pm). If you do come late, instead of putting yourself in their 30-1hr wait-list, go on OpenTable and book a reservation for the same day. It'll be faster. Trust me.
