Perched
at
water's
edge
with
a
million-dollar
view
of
Diamond
Head
and
Waikiki’s
skyline,
53
by
the
Sea
has
the
perfecting
setting
to
a
one
of
the
best
fine
dining
experiences
in
Oahu.
As
you
enter,
you’re
swept
away
by
a
grand
staircase
and
marble
floors
that
lead
you
to
sweeping
views
of
the
Pacific’s
crystal
waters
until
you
get
swept
by
the
amazing
food
as
well.
Although
your
wallet
might
try
to
stop
you,
every
item
on
their
menu
is
worth
trying.
We
started
with
the
Lobster
Bisque
and
French
Onion
Soup,
both
of
which
were
some
of
the
best
of
their
kind
we
have
had.
Their
texture
was
perfect
and
the
ingredients
mixed
quite
tastefully.
I
then
moved
into
the
Pan
Roasted
New
Zealand
King
Salmon.
This
salmon
was
exquisite
as
well
with
a
great
combination
of
flavors
to
accompany
the
high-quality
salmon.
Last
but
not
least
for
the
savory
foods
was
the
Pan
Roasted
Filet
Mignon.
This
very
tasty
cut
of
steak
was
done
quite
well
too,
cooked
to
perfection
and
given
some
extra
taste
by
the
appropriate
accompanying
plate
offerings.
Last
but
not
least,
three
wonderful
desserts
that
were
all
wonderful
in
their
own
right
and
ended
a
night
of
great
food
quite
well.
The
last
highlight
of
the
evening
(but
not
the
least
important
one)
was
the
service.
It
was
wonderful
from
start
to
finish,
from
the
hostess
to
the
water
service.
Every
single
member
of
53’s
team
made
the
experience
unforgettable.
If
you
are
in
Honolulu
and
are
looking
for
a
place
(almost
a
palace
in
this
case)
to
celebrate
a
special
night,
53
by
the
Sea
is
the
right
place
to
be.
