😠 There are several reasons I don't recommend this place via a tourist guide, the first among them is food and second is customer service! 1. We were sold a package for the show with free food. There are several reasons I don't recommend this place via a tourist guide, the first among them is food and second is customer service! 1. We were sold a package for the show with free food. (Firstly the agent told us Veggie food is available). 2. When we arrived there, not only was there no veggie food, the quality of customer service was pathetic. 3. We paid a fortune for the experience of a proper dinner and a magic show! But the dinner experience was horrible. 4. The food was pre prepared and it was freaking served in a plastic bowl. (See pictures). Certainly the freaking "experience" was over sold. The show itself was good - but it's not the "experience". So - please do not book this show via tour agents as a part of pre planned package. And recommendation for the show - please have vegetarian food (there are far too many of us vegetarians). And please call out the food options upfront. And stop over selling the "experience" part. What is being done is a insult to the talent of Mr. Hirokawa! Overall, a case of over selling. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Best way i can describe it is a magic show combined with a luau. This was my first time going to magic show and i was truly dumbfounded. I have heard John Hirokawa was worth the price of admission and that is absolutely the truth!! We had us laughing the entire time as he did many tricks with audience members. The craziest trick was when he made a car disappear. Throughout the show they mix in hula from some of the different Polynesian islands. At the end of the show, there is even a amazing fire knife finale just like at many luaus. We did the Show Only with the free bento box dinner that included BBQ chicken and Kalua Pork w cabbage. Food was alright but i would recommend eating before or after the show. Great value as the tickets were about 35 bucks online!

Great show, very entertaining, its amazing to have a magical experience as an adult and see the wonder and amazement in my children's eyes. The dinner was nice, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is whimsical. My family thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

Created by Merlin Award-winning illusionist John Hirokawa, Magic of Polynesia invites you to experience an evening of professionally choreographed Polynesian entertainment, spellbinding magic, stunning illusions and dramatic special effects – all in a beautiful 7.5 million theater in the heart of Waikiki. Witness fascinating vanishing acts, incredible levitations, breathtaking fire-knife dances and much more.

My family and I absolutely loved the show. We have 4 kids, ages 2-9, and the employees were all so helpful and accommodating. Great family atmosphere and the entertainment was amazing. The magician was very skilled and entertaining. Food was excellent. Would highly recommend if your looking for activities in the Waikiki area!!

The surprise magic show is so exciting.

It's so not real. Plastic boats, structures that look plastic, inaccurate information about the cultures, junky food. And traditional luaus have alcohol! (I get it that it's run by a religious organization that doesn't allow alcohol, and that it's located in a town that is "dry".) The only things redeeming are the barefoot tree climber and the fire dance. I would say it's a tourist trap.

This show is worth the price of admission and then some. We did the basic package and they provided a bento Box dinner. It wasn't an Award-winning dinner but it was tasty. But the magician here is absolutely fantastic. I went to see David Copperfield 2 years ago and he is nowhere as good as this guy.

Better than expected. The magician was hilarious. If you don't want to be picked as a volunteer, try not to sit in the middle near the stage. Our kids loved the show and we were entertained throughout the show. Magic was good and the fire show was spectacular.

The show is spectacular – for first timer. I am a first timer so I enjoyed the show. The food is really really good but be ready to get messy especially if you order the sea food! Crablegs arethe best! They need more waiter though that goes around so easier to order additional food.

I enjoyed going to Magic of Polynesia. Our tickets also came with dinner, and drinks provided by employees. The servers there were also helpful and showed great customer service through selecting the food options. The theater itself was also wide and spacious to accommodate an audience both for a show and as a restaurant, surprisingly. The food was okay at best, but we didn't come here for that. The Magic of Polynesia was an amazing magic show that's great entertainment for the whole family to see!

So cool!! Essentially the same kind of structure as a luau, but more affordable and with a magician style twist to it.

A great magic show and dinner seem to be the best value for money.
