We’ve been searching for our favorite pizza spot and we’ve stumbled upon Big Kahuna’s near the airport. They are very friendly, gave us a few free samples and military discount. The pizza style is similar to panned pizza mixed with Chicago pizza. The toppings were abundant, and the crust crispy. So glad we ordered the larger size for our lunch tomorrow. They also sell sandwiches and ice cream. There is a small dine in area too. Such a good experience. ❤️ Tip: get the cheese balls 😍😍😍 Definitely our favorite and we will be back often!

Wonderful Pizza Place. Lovely staff and great vibes. The place is kinda small but cozy, nice for small groups (4 or less) or a casual dinner with friends or a date. Good pizza pick up place as well. Great portion sizes. Staff was very attentive and helpful with my queries. Funnily enough, this was first place and last place I had food during my holiday in Hawaii. Enjoyed the food and ambience both times! Thanks Big Kahuna's Pizza!

An oasis within walking distance from the airport (~10 minutes on the lower level). Got a large veggie pizza made vegan, was allowed to add extra toppings for free and no vegan surcharge. Delicious cheese and pizza. Better than many well-known spots in other cities despite the storefront being unassuming. Vegan garlic cheese balls were great and original. The serving staff was so helpful and announced “vegan” with the pizza and balls, making us not need to worry about any mix-ups. At the end, they even offered some sorbet samples and specified it was vegan, which no other restaurant does proactively. Lovely decor and ambiance too. Loved our time here. Overall, wonderful people, delicious food, and fast and attentive service. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience here. The pizza was delicious and the staff was friendly and interactive with us. We ended up getting a great deal on the food as well. The garlic cheese balls are amazing. The marinara sauce was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. They also have an amazing brownie dessert that you have to try if you go. You may have to wait a bit longer than you’d like if you are ordering when you get there so if you are going to dine in make and don’t want to wait make sure that you order ahead of time.

Their famous garlic cheese balls are definitely worth it, and they offer the perfect sized pizza for one person. They also offer larger pizzas for a group. A range of options and toppings are available, which will keep you coming back for more. Great local spot to try out, and it's right near the airport. 10/10

Friendly service. Easy ordering and pick up. Haven’t been here in a while, but the BBQ chicken pizza was really good. Nicely seasoned and crunchy crust. The meat lover’s pizza was okay. Definitely a lot of meat, but was lacking tomato sauce to balance out the proteins.

Idk if it was the long plane ride in…but the kanaka pizza was incredible. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. We also got the garlic bread balls and a bbq pizza. Be aware that you will need them to validate your parking before you leave. Highly recommend.

Quick lunch stop on arrival back home. We had fond memories of visiting this Hawaiian restaurant every time we had visitors or were on our way off the island. The food is plentiful buy no longer as flavorful as we remembered. Not sure if there is a shortage of certain items but this time the whole process was disappointing. Proof of vaccination must be provided if sitting inside, but no need if sitting outside. Sitting outside for me is an ideal solution whether vaccinated or not, it is safer than sitting inside with inadequate air circulation. Lots of plastic for serving food which is creating excessive waste. And there was a 25 minute wait to receive our food. That said we will probably visit again but not as regularly as we used to.

I love their pizza and sandwiches! I also love their garlic cheesy balls! It's a cozy little pizza restaurant that has a Hawai'i vibe with local celebrity photos and autographs framed on their wall. Cute decor. Nice staff.

Pretty good pizza. Not exactly what I was expecting - not super flavourful but still good and worth stopping by. For example: on the spicy pork pizza, I'd suggest that the jalapenos be pickled rather than just raw for a bit of flavour boost and reduction in spice level. Garlic cheese balls were great.

I never caught the cashier’s name but her customer service was a 10/10. She’s so genuine and asked us where we were from/welcomed us to the city. She was patient whilst I was going through the menu and gave suggestions. We ordered the New Yorker sandwich and the sumo special pizza. It tasted great and the pizza wasn’t overly oily like I thought a pan pizza would be. They served complimentary cheese rolls and gave out ice cream samples! Really made our last meal in Oahu worthwhile. So glad my partner suggested this spot. No wonder why they’re so highly rated. Their tip jar also goes towards college funds!

Great family business doing amazing things. We were tired and hungry and this place was not only fast and friendly, their food was amazing. We had the Kanaka (Kahlua pork) pizza and garlic cheesey balls. I regret nothing. I will definitely come back here if I'm ever in Honolulu again. Mahalo!

Love their food! The wait time today crazy. I ordered at 3:02pm. Was told 20-25 min. Had a small pepperoni pizza and small sandwich. I just got my food at 3:50 after arriving past the 20/25. If you are coming on you work break or in a rush DONT . The pickup time is not accurate. I’m still going to eat here just adding about 30 minutes tome they tell me on the phone.

Both pizzas we ordered were spongy and lacking (BBQ Chicken and Haole). Really wanted to like them, but unfortunately the bottom was just not coked well. I’m thinking either the oven wasn’t hot enough, or they pulled them out too early. I just can’t believe how bad the quality was. I have been wanting to try this place for a whole year. Finally chose this place when family came to visit. I hope this was a one-off experience and not related to the recent management change. It was disappointing to a point where I’m not sure we’ll be coming back. Do not recommend.

After having several brisket sandwiches over the past week I decided to give this one a shot. I went with the large size after the cashier pointed at the french bread sizes behind him. When I received my food the bread was different (their homemade round bread) and thought it was the wrong order. Come to find out it was their "highly desirable" bun at the other location. The sandwich was good NOT great and WAY TOO much bread AND not enough brisket. There was a clear imbalance of bread to protein and the brisket sandwich definitely needed more BBQ sauce. It was overall dry with the excess bread and lack of sauce. I wish I had them remake it on the french bread... I think I would have enjoyed it more.

Our family loved eating here. It was a super convenient last dinner before our flight home located right next to the airport and a gas station for the rental car. The staff were super friendly, made some great recommendations. The location was fun and everything we tried was delicious! Highly recommend.

Amazing customer service, nice ambiance, great tasting pizza, and received cheese balls on the house! It took just about as long as you'd expect for a pizza to be made. Parking can be validated when you purchase.

I love Big Kahuna's Pizza! It's Oahu's take on my favorite food of all time! Their pies are so ono. You must try it at least once. I bet you'll come back for more.

First time trying this place. They have a variety of specialty pizzas with a plethora of choices! The pizzas were a little spendy but you can’t beat that authentic homemade pizza crust. Pizzas were not greasy and made extremely fresh. Place was clean and chill plus suppppper close to my home. I believe take out only but well worth it for the amazing quality and flavor.

Pizza was quite good and the dessert was even better. I don't recall the name of the dessert; started with a bottom later of shortbread, then chocolate pudding topped with whipped cream and macadamia nuts. Yummy!

I absolutely love this place! The food is extra delish! Best pizza, sandwiches, and desserts available anywhere on Oahu! They make their own bread for the sandwiches and garlic balls too and it is just the best tasting bread around! Gotta get some of those garlic balls for sure! Kelly, the owner, is one of the nicest and most gracious people I've ever met! All the young people she has working there are very nice and engaging! My own son worked there almost 30 years ago and she still remembers him!

Great food, amazing service. Looking through some of the reviews, it looked like most of the lower ones were from longer wait times. I didn't see abnormally long wait times for a pizza when we were here, but it may have also just been timing. The turkey bacon club was really good, and the staff was very friendly.
