NO WONDER OBAMA CHOSE THIS BOAT TOUR THE DAY BEFORE US!! All I can say is WOW!! We have done several snorkeling tours over the years and this was by far, the best and most memorable. The crew was fantastic. So helpful, fun, and friendly. The 2 destinations we went for the snorkeling were gorgeous and there were fish and turtles everywhere. Probably the most amazing part of the day was when we were “mugged” by whales. A term we learned from the captain, meaning whales surrounding the boat, playing, and saying hi. A mama whale and her calf literally swam under the boat and came up to play and say hello a few yards from where we were. It was truly a magical experience our family will never forget. The slide also added extra fun for all of us and our 7 year old especially loved this. President Obama, Michelle, and his friends chartered this boat and crew the day before we went out and it is no surprise this is what they chose…it is the BEST!

Truly amazing trip, the staff is so friendly and helpful, we went for a snorkeling trip and saw whales, turtles and dolphins! The food was good, and the kids loved the water slide. Highly recommended.

The BEST tour to go snorkeling in Maui! The boat was perfect, the amount of people was just right!! The crew was spectacular! We loved being the first ones to hit the turtle spot which made it perfect. Excellent service from each one of the crew members and the slide was just cherry on top! Loved the tour, it’s well timed as it felt I had enough time in water at both Molokini and turtle town. The crew is very good and they really make sure you are well taken care of. This is also an excellent opportunity for whale spotting, I did a whale spotting tour as well and this one was better. The slide is awesome and everything is very family friendly.

Had an amazing time! Crew was super friendly and we really enjoyed! Appreciated the snacks and drinks and seeing all the whales! Unfortunately didn’t get to do turtle town because of weather but had fun nonetheless! Def recommend!!

Amazing!!! Amazingly wonderful time! If you have never been you should do it! Beginners feel at ease Sydney and Danny were calm and knowledgeable very helpful with our big group! We felt safe and it was one of the highlights of our Epic Maui experience! We saw turtles, fish and more! My four year old even snorkeled! Ages of our kids 2 years to 18years and they LOVED EVERY MINUTE! Thank you so much for having an awesome crew and serving us delicious sandwiches and drinks!

Best snorkeling experience ever! I can’t say enough good things about this tour and the fantastic crew members. For starters, The Captain is very knowledgeable and informative. Before we even boarded he came out to introduce himself and lay out the itinerary for the day. He was very engaging through the whole tour and really made it fun. The crew members were very hospitable and frequently checking in on all the guests. They made us feel safe and comfortable. The snorkeling itself was beautiful and we did not leave disappointed.

This trip was well worth every penny! The entire crew is amazing. Captain Spence was awesome at navigating the weather and itinerary for the ideal trip. He even let the kids on the boat drive since the weather was calm. I do not have children but appreciated this small detail! We didn’t see tooo many turtles at turtle town but the crater was an incredible experience. Highly recommend! The breakfast and lunch provided was also a nice touch!

Captin Spence, Kristin and Walker did a amazing job on our whale watching tour. We have an 18 year old, 13 year old and they loved it. For my teens to tell me "Good job picking this boat Mom". Perfect size boat, great food, great people ❤️ come to Maui and take this boat tour.

Captain Spence, Morgan, Sydney and Kirsten were AMAZING!!!! We had THE BEST morning tour to Molokini Crater and Coral Garden. We saw dolphins, a mother whale with a baby and LOTS of turtles, fish and coral. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the crew kept us fed with a yummy breakfast and lunch and kept us all safe and entertained. Couldn’t recommend this trip more highly!!!! Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

Booked our tour Dec 2023. Been to Maui about 5 times now and this was my first ever off shore snorkeling adventure for me and my first snorkel tour. I took my son to Maui so that’s why I booked it for him. He enjoyed every minute. On the way to molokini They provided breakfast (bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate) and also lunch (sandwiches, pasta salad, drinks) both were yummy in my opinion. The slide was fun, my son enjoyed himself and it was awesome that the captain let the kids (there were only 3 on the entire tour) each take a turn behind the seat and get that captain feeling for a few mins. Thank you for a great fun first time experience.

This trip was completely worth the cost! The experience from the moment the captain welcomed us to when we stepped back off the boat with homemade cookies as a parting gift was absolutely phenomenal! The crew was so friendly and helpful along with being playful balanced with a professionalism and expertise that are just unmatched. The music played throughout the voyage added so much fun to the already thrilling experience. I’ve been on another snorkeling trip doing the same route and it was more expensive and with so much less to offer. The slide put everything over the top! My son took no less than 15 runs down that thing! We will be back for sure!

Can't say enough good things about our amazing snorkeling trip! The captain (Chad) and crew (Emily and Dani) were friendly and helpful and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed every minute of the trip. All the gear we needed was provided to see tons of fish and turtles. My 9 year old son loved the snorkeling, inflatable slide, and all the food he could eat. It was the highlight of our trip to Maui. Thank you Maui Snorkeling! Note: I've been on quite a few snorkeling tours in Hawaii and the Caribbean. This was the most relaxed and enjoyable trip I've had hands down.

We had the best time today! We swam with turtles, baby sharks, and dolphins! The crew was a blast and took great care of us! They are knowledgeable and awesome humans. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing time on their 3 hour afternoon snorkel trip. We also decided to add on the snuba experience after boarding the boat, and it was definitely worth it! Gorgeous views of coral and schools of fish. The staff was friendly and super accommodating, a great value for the price. I would definitely book with them again.

Just got off the boat from our tour, we had an awesome trip, couldn't visit turtle town today as the water was murky at that location but they took the back side of the crater told us about the crater, then parked to let us all snorkel Molokini, then they let the slide out, yes the kid in me went down the slide several times, got out enjoyed a deli style lunch and headed back. Crew was awesome. Definitely enjoyed my trip.

It was an incredibly windy day to start our tour. We were not able to go to the coral gardens or molokini. The captain found a cove for us to snorkel at. It was a little sketchy and really not much to see, compared to what you expect at any of the other locations. It was a bit of a bummer but once the inflatable slide came out the young ones had a blast and enjoyed jumping off the boat. Time of their life! The food was nothing to write home about, would almost have preferred to pack my own lunch. Overall even though it wasn't the perfect snorkel adventure the crew was super friendly and fun, we all had a great time and we felt safe. I would recommend this tour and hope that you have better weather conditions!

We booked this tour just at the end of whale watching season (late April) and so were prepared for just a lovely 3 hour tour and maybe some snorkelling. I’m so glad we chose this boat over one of the larger ones we saw nearby when we stopped to snorkel. Around 20 people plus the 3 crew made it really pleasant and the crew was ultra attentive! They pulled us into a coral reef area and we had over an hour to swim and float around. The coral and the fish were gorgeous and a few in the group saw turtles! The lunch provided was really nice sandwiches and canned beverages and there was no lack of them. Plenty of sizes for masks, flippers and wet suits if you wanted to rent one. In a setting this small the crew could make or break an outing like this, but that was no worries at all! They were all smiling and organized and made sure everyone felt taken care of. Our little guy was a bit nervous (ok, ok…so were we all- it’s open ocean!! And our son isn’t a strong swimmer and hadn’t snorkelled before.) they were super patient and helped him get geared up and showed him how to use it all, let him take his time getting into the water and when we came out they were totally on board with us taking another dip! We ended up being some of the last back up on the boat and they were playing and laughing and smiling as we swam up at the end. I appreciated the little touch of them checking that everyone made it back up on the boat. This was not a party boat, but there was music (not loud-just right) and a great atmosphere. It kind of felt like you were on your friends boat for the afternoon 🥰. The cookie as we hopped off and a final “Mahalo” wrapped this little adventure up and we will recommend maui snorkelling to friends and family who visit Maui

We did the afternoon snorkel and it was perfect. The crew was great, we were in a quiet spot, we saw lots of great fish and a turtle. I felt safe the whole time- even with 2 young kids. The slide was amazing fun. My kids were hesitant about snorkeling but were sold on the slide, but had fun doing it all! They even provided gluten free sandwiches on request, which was awesome. Best experience. Loved snorkeling at the Coral Gardens where the sea turtles were more than the actual Molokini snorkeling area. I appreciate that captain Spence took us out there early too before the rest of the masses got there. The pool being out & ready for us to go down as soon as we were done seeing the turtles was great too. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always asking if they could bring us anything. The lunch was also pretty good even if it was just sandwiches. All in all great experience. Highly recommend.

We had sooo much fun on our tour! I'm glad we didn't end up spending way more money to basically have the same experiences. The captain and crew were knowledgeable and kind. The boat was clean. The water slide was super fun and of course the snorkeling was just amazing. We saw two octopus, one large eel, turtles and so many different types of fish. We spent plenty of time at both locations for exploring the reefs. The breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, fruit and coffee. Lunch was your choice of sandwich with a pasta salad and they had an assortment of beverages.

What a lovely day! We had the best time with Captain Spence and his crew. Nice comfortable boat and smooth ride even with wind. We switched ours stops and went to Turtle town first, my son had a blast in the slide. No slide in Molokini, it is a marine preserve so makes total sense. We saw whales, tons of fish and even a manta ray! The crew rents wetsuits, highly recommend since it is April and not super warm yet. Will definitely book again!

Absolutely best snorkeling adventure we've been on! We have a special needs daughter who is always reluctant to snorkel, she loves to swim but she's afraid of the ocean. After a few conversations and interactions with the crew on the boat ride out, some help with her gear, encouraging words while entering the water she took off like a fish! She spent the most time she ever has in the water swimming. She was so relaxed and comfortable she went off the slide (twice) and even braved some cannon balls off the side of the boat. While leaving the marina she told us, 'This was the most amazing day ever!" Thank you so much Maui Snorkeling, Capt Spencer and crew for such an amazing day and memories that will fill our family 's hearts forever!

Aloha! First thing's first: look no further for the best all inclusive snorkeling adventure in Maui. Maui Snorkeling on the Lani Kai II was superb! Now to the nitty gritty! We arrived bright and early to the port and, after a few short minutes and quick check in, were aboard and had set off for Molokini Crater! Luckily the weather was second to none and visibility was amazing. The whole crew was very welcoming and conversational giving us tips and tricks. Shortly after setting sail, we were enjoying the complimentary breakfast and the sites/sounds of the Maui coast! Arriving at Molokini Crater was something of a dream. Crystal clear waters and tons of tropical wildlife awaited us upon arrival. There was no shortage of triggerfish, yellow tangs, and urchin throughout the beautiful coral reef. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even spot an octopus or two! Unfortunately, our second stop to Turtle Town was not possible due to the turbid waters on shore. But don't let this hinder your bookings! The Molokini snorkeling and the blow up water slide were more than enough to keep us occupied. The locally supplied lunch was amazing as well! On our way back to the port, we talked to several of the crew about the local attractions and were given a TON of suggestions. We even met someone who relocated from right here in Maryland. The captain gave us all history facts for the surrounding islands and adjacent waters which was a bonus! So, again, look no further for an amazing snorkeling adventure on Maui. You get fed, you get amazing views, and you get memories for a lifetime! Mahalo to the crew and the captain of the Lani Kai for an amazing trip!

We had a great time! Crew was professional and fun. Captain Chad was funny and very helpful. The food was good, not anything special but what do you expect... you are out at sea. Only thing I would recommend is bringing chips so you could have with lunch. Other than that the snorkeling spots were amazing! Would definitely recommend booking with them.

This snorkeling excursion was so family friendly and enjoyable. The captain and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We got to see whales, dolphins and turtles. It was so surreal. We brought a family of 4 little ones and all the crew, including the captain, were helpful in assisting us getting into snorkel gear, life jackets and even boogie boards for my timid little guy. The food was great; fresh, plentiful and even had a gluten free option. The boat was clean and accommodating. We had an absolute amazing time!

Our trip was super windy, so they had to adjust locations and went to a backup site. I would like to have seen the crater location, but still, the trip was great. Crew is awesome. Kids loved the slide as well.

Captain and crew were awesome! Went to Molokini on a rare afternoon trip due to a change in the weather. We were the only ones in the crater!! Lunch and drinks included as well as the equipment. Only complaint…wish it was a longer trip🤷‍♂️

Such a magical time on our last day on the islands! So happy we chose this group for snorkeling!! Great humor, safety and laid back Hawaiian vibes. The giant slide was great fun for our family of 5. We saw beautiful coral and fish while snorkeling, and dozens of humpback whales on our journey there and back!! Highly recommend coming out on Maui Snorkeling!

Snorkeling with Maui Snorkeling was a highlight of our week in Maui. Capt. Spence, Dani, and Sydney went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best possible. We did the 7 am tour which included a lite breakfast and lunch. We learned about the islands and saw whales on our ride out to our first spot. Great boat, great trip. Seas were rough, they read the room, changed the trip, made it work. All in all a great deal, simple easy boat, not crowded, staff genuine, not over the top. A do able do.
