This is a very small but rather populated beach on the other side of the aquarium from Queens beach. It is in between to the Waikiki Natatorium War memorial and the Waikiki Outrigger Canoe club. This is a treasured piece of water for locals and visitors who happen to venture this far off from the beaten path. Amazingly peaceful in the early morning turns congested and anything but in the later hours of the day. Protected by a wide reef, the near shore bottom is shallow, sandy, and free of strong currents. Open ocean swimmers and kayakers flock to take advantage of all it has to offer before the hurd of visitors and locals alike show up for their urban oasis. Really convenient location with plenty of parking, toilette facilities and picnic tables makes this a highly sought after gem.

This is a great bit of beach if you're looking to get away from the crowded part further north. There were certainly other people here, but there was plenty of space for individuals or groups to lay down a blankets or set up chairs. It also wasn't too noisy, so it's a nice spot to get some beach reading done. The views are beautiful from here. The pigeons were a little annoying, but they didn't actually bother anyone; they just walked around the sand.

Very pretty beach! Not really a swimming beach due to the rocks but definitely cool to check out or just lay on the beach!

Kinda lots of stones, also looks like water is all over the beach (maybe not always). We were said that it's good place for snorkeling, but didn't even manage to successfully enter the water =) seems like it is marine protection area nevertheless Views are great tho, great place for sunset, etc etc

The water is pretty close to the retaining wall even at low tide, so expect to get wet on some parts of the beach. There were smiles and friendly people all over the place. What a beautiful place to watch a sunset.

Definitely the spot to go for beaching & swimming. Very few tourists, & never crowded.

A wide swath of sand, less noisy than nearby Waikiki, close to the aquarium. Swimming, wading, picnicking, shade, perfect sunset watching. Locals love it. Directions in Oahu Trailblazer

Reminds me of Ole Hawaii. With the statues on the Natatorium. Pretty cool.

We walked the beaches while waiting to go to the airport. Fun to see the sailboats and people learning how to surf. Very crowed in my opinion.

This is the part of Waikiki that defines the Hawaiian way of life for me. Whenever I am in Honolulu, I walk on this sidewalk along Sans Souci Beach (which means "Without a Care Beach", by the way), sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. It's great to meander along this stretch of the beach at anytime of day since the temperature, lighting from the sun, and human activity is different, depending on the time of day.

Nice beach to swim at for the most part, but lately to much tourists been showing up taking up space. We locals need our space too, even if it's in waikiki.
