When it comes to take out food the okazu at Najima Market really get your mouth watering and your mind reeling at the diverse selection of products! Just broke da mouth! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff! Whether you looking for okazu or the many other quality products that they carry you will not be disappointed!

It's difficult to see from the street how many shops/services there are here. Most are underappreciated- like the Japanese grocery (accesible only from the rear of the building, through a hallway corridor that feels like a shabby office building), which I was surprised to see had a very large and varied inventory. There is a tutoring place, a little hair salon, h̶e̶a̶d̶ s̶h̶o̶p̶ "smoke store", and others around back and upstairs. The tea place on the street side is nice, the street facing restaurants seem pretty decent, and the Cricket store staff are friendly. But the crown gem of this place is a little family owned restaurant in the back, to the left as you pull into the parking lot. I wish I knew the name of it. The staff are all SUPER friendly and attentive, the food is amazing, the drinks delightful. They allowed me to have my dog sit with me, under the table, at the outdoor seating- an uncommon treat for my 100lb mutt. The buildings are old and could use a facelift, but house a variety of good little outlets.

Like Pucks Alley for Nijiya Market. I like their chirashis and other sea food. They also have other Japanese goods there. One of my favorite places for Asian food.

Parking has always sucked and it still does. Not sure why you need an parking attendant who is always confused. Automate so we don't have to deal with it.

Have someone informed Security at this parking garage NOT to PARK in the HANDICAP STALLS. This is very rude and inconsiderate of the disabled who NEEDS the space. This Security car had NO Placard or wheelchair on license plates. Next time should TOWING be called on car? Have pictures! It will be if continues. And where is elevator in this building? Thank you.

Fun spot for a few things like a smoke shop, head shop, health food store, Thai food. This little area has a few gems for sure.

All business there is very good EXCEPT parking is an arm and a leg. If you can find side street parking [which is nearly zilch because it's also parking for many Univ of Hawaii students and faculty] park there instead of their parking area. I haven't been to any store in that area that would validate parking (maybe there are restos and/or stores that would but I don't know)

Only the Head shop and the Japanese Grocery Store is worth mentioning and free parking if on moped or motorcycle+Bicycle. EVERYTIME I've gone there (around 5-7pm There wasn't any Parking Attendant in the Booth so I drove in from KING STREET ONTO 7-11 'S PARKING LOT AND BETWEEN THE BIG YELLOW POLES OVER 2 SPEED BUMPS, KEEP LOOKING AHEAD CAUSE THE HOMELESS IS GOING TO TRY TO BEG FOR CHANGE/CHANGE OR $1

The place is run down and houses hole in the wall places that you might find charming. If you can’t find parking in the street level lot, there’s usually plenty more up the ramp. Frequented by a lot of UH students, it’s still a quaint little shopping center with few choice options. Nijiya Market for a good bento or Greek Corner are my preferred places.
