😠 I would always come here as a kid & it was good. Now days, The receptionist people don’t answer phones but when they do, they end it or send it straight to voicemail. That isn’t right to treat your patients who are in need of help. Also when you make an appointment and you’re on time , they let you... People often mention appointment, time, phone, staff,

I would always come here as a kid & it was good. Now days, The receptionist people don’t answer phones but when they do, they end it or send it straight to voicemail. That isn’t right to treat your patients who are in need of help. Also when you make an appointment and you’re on time , they let you know an hour late that they moved your appointment and you’re sitting there waiting and waiting & the people at the front desk doesn’t do anything to help. It be really nice if they actually cared about their job meaning care to help people but they don’t , only when it’s beneficial. It’s really sad. I tried talking to one of the ladies at the desk for a pen and she sees me waving but looks the other way and I had to repeat myself 3 times. Who does that ? Very disrespectful. This place has changed big time & that’s just really sad. Hope they can improve but if not, I wouldn’t recommend anymore. They keep continuing to do this for a year. The nurses are nice though but the front desk needs more of practice & respect for the people of Hawaii . Big time .

ZERO STARS....The service is really bad. I went there to ask for help and all they did was turn me to another direction and out the door I went. They not what they suppose to be. I even talked to the head lady over there and all she gave me was excuses of why they couldn't help me. They should get new staff that are honest and not just making a paycheck. If they can not help me then where's all the money going then? Funny place. Get rid of these guys.

No one answers the phone or returns calls after leaving a voicemail. I tried multiple times in 3 weeks and finally someone picked up. Got an appointment scheduled, got there 10min before my appointment and was told they we’re gonna a cancel one out of the two. Half the time the front desk staff is clueless with what to do. Line up wasn’t too bad but service was extremely slow because no one knows what their doing. Doctor I saw was great though but the process to get seen was painful.

Would love to have made an appointment, but they simply will not answer. I've left multiple voicemails with no call back. I've only gotten to get through twice and both times they answered and hung up on me. Really is frustrating as I desperately need to make an appointment for myself and my son. Being from the mainland, I'm really starting to see a trend here in Hawaii. Seems like the only way to actually get anything done or even simply get an appointment is to go in person, but this is difficult with being pregnant, no vehicle, a toddler, and low income. Customer service is NOT a priority.

Doctor repeatedly lied and avoided responding to contact in order to deny my mother treatment. Do not, I repeat DO Not trust these hacks if you have any concern for your health. They will steal your personal information and ditch you with whatever flimsy excuses their "staff" think of. And regarding the staff, it seems to just be one person masquerading as a whole clinic to appear more legitimate.

Social worker Jermaima Bautista doesn’t show up to her appointments and just waste your time. She didn’t want show up to our appointment today at 4pm on 06/21/2023 because they made a mistake on their part by putting it in as an in person appointment when the lady over the phone from yesterday said she had asked and made sure it was approved for over the phone appointment. Don’t tell me how to speak over the phone when you’re the one who made the mistake. It doesn’t matter if it’s in person or over the phone, if it’s someone’s appointment and the patient showed up, you should follow through instead of ditching them because you want to go home early.

unprofessional and unreliable for urgent care. designated as a COVID-19 test-to-treat center but declines to treat based on federal guidelines. however, will string patient along and drag out the process through unanswered phones and not responding to messages until treatment window closes.

Never answers their phone or respond to voice-mail, called 7 times, left 7 messages. Then I decided to go there and the receptionist was very rude. Look, if you don't like your job then why make a career out of it? Then has the audacity to speak ill about me in her language to her coworkers (Samoan) not knowing I understand and speak it also.

Very bad customer service! Tried making an appointment and left messages many times and nobody returned my calls. Called again the next week repeatedly and got an answered from their operators and instead of saying can you call back because we are on lunch. She said do you know we’re on lunch with a very bad attitude and tone. Like yeah I know it’s lunch time but if and if anybody return my calls I wouldn’t have repeatedly ring their phone. The operator their sucks than the ones before long time ago. My family have been with Kalihi Palama for 21years but we are not going back there and will never recommend them!

Everyone here is amazing and so helpful. I instantly felt comfortable and like they really cared. People who come here have to understand that they are doing their absolute best with what they can (I’ve never had an issue but read some other reviews) Listen, pay attention to what they say and ask questions, they are here to help.

I have no doubt the doctors do a great job at the Center, the problem is Customer Service on the 2nd floor. I was there last week and there was a young Marshallese girl working at the window. I heard her spoke Marshallese to the older lady in front of me and she was very rude and unprofessional. She had the same attitude when I got to the window. She needs to get some training on how to deal with customers.

I am a single mother of 4 children. Im so grateful for the help of kalihi Palama Health Center and the housing program. The workers were so helpful and understanding. I felt the aloha. I've never had a problem until recently when Lisa Higa a new housing specialist, denied me the opportunity to talk to a supervisor. She is very condescending, and fails to listen. She's even lied to me about needing me to come to the office to sign something. I went down there. She joked, I only misled u because if you didn't have your rent, I was gonna have you sign a contract to make you pay. I feel like she uses my poverty against me and even made a joke about how her supervisor said I'm welcome to pay the full amount of rent, if I don't want to accommodate her. My rent is being raised next year, I need to find a new place ASAP. Lisa refuses to help me, she won't allow me to speak to anyone else. My babies have RSV and recently hospitalized I've been doing back to back breathing treatments she won't allow me to mail my rent check this month she said she wants it delivered. Or we can't discuss me moving, I feel bullied. I only want a hand up not a hand out. My family has enough obstacles being that I'm a single disabled parent on a fixed income.I'm trying my hardest to support all 5 of us by myself, I'm fearful that we may end up being homeless again if we can't find a place in time. I wish this lady would stop treating me like I'm doing something wrong, Im poor but I' deserve Aloha! I pay my portion of rent. I always do. I want to be treated with respect and dignity because that's what me and my kids deserve.!

Without asking, the telephone agents always guess my mother tongue and transfer it to an interpreter. Even it was not my language and interpreters never recieve. They need some training as operators.
