Waited two hours for my food at the drive through. That’s absolutely unacceptable in many ways. Get more staff if you’re going to leave the drive thru open. I’ve never encountered something like this. Not the employees fault. Greedy company can’t hire proper staff. Embarrassing

There is seating for about 25 people inside the building and I'm grateful that they're open. But because their drive-thru line is always so busy, the lobby is usually full and when I was there, had over 15 people waiting for their orders that they had ordered in the restaurant. Of course I'm not the owner and I understand complications to get things done faster when you're simply just busy, but it seems like there could have been more done to get things out quicker. We waited for 22 minutes to get our order. It is expensive there and I'm not going to complain about that because it's just Honolulu and that's just what they do, but I do wish things were more affordable like they are stateside. One actual legitimate issue in there is that the menu font on their screens I kid you not is like a size 18 font. And I had to use my camera to zoom in even being behind the register to see what the menu was saying and I do not need glasses. It's excessively small and unnecessary because the menu only has about half as many items as other Taco Bell State side so there's a lot of room to make your font bigger. The quality of the bean and cheese burritos and some of the cheaper menu items that we got was pretty poor and I've eaten at well over 50 Taco bells in my life and I would rate this the lowest quality. And I'm going to be a karen, but the young lady working the register on Sunday November 20th was probably the rudest person I've ever talked to in my entire life and wouldn't acknowledge me confirming my order and legit just wouldn't give me actual answers to the questions I was asking about the food because it was a lot different there than other places.

My son loves Taco Bell. We came all the way from Australia. I have to drive him 12mins to find a nearest store. He is a satisfying boy and there is not a lot of in Melbourne, Australia.

Super simple order: Beef Chalupa, No sour cream, No cheese. Total fail.

Seeing the lines going into the drive-thru makes me think that Taco Bell needs to open another branch in the area. You can wait over 30 minutes in line at the drive-thru after the dining room closes. Even when it’s open, the dining room seems too small to accommodate the number of customers who come in to eat. Seriously, they should have made this branch with a larger dining room. Hopefully, Taco Bell will see this review and consider opening another branch nearby. The staff is nice, but you can see them struggling when there is a large number of customers in the dining room and drive-thru.

It's Taco Bell. What do you expect? Got Mexican Pizza with jalapenos meal and it still hits the spot. With the return of the Mexican pizza and the overly dense food delivery options, the inside was very crowded. Parking was good, but if the line for the drive through starts wrapping around then it becomes a little more of a hazard. So be a smart driver folks.

The drive thru line was terrible!! I got the chicken power bowls. They were skimpy on the quacamole and sour cream. I know the employees are learning at this new location. Will try again and update review later

The hours say 24 hours but I went late at night and was not helped… saw people inside when i drove a lap around and waited for 10 minutes to get my order taken… maybe they were on break or something but at least leave a note if you are

Listen the reviews! The drive through line will take you 1 to 2 HOURS to even get to the speaker. That is not a joke nor an exaggeration. And no, not because they are swamped. They just move that slowly. There is absolutely no reason for it either. You could hand make tortillas and grow the lettuce from seed by the time you actually get through the line. Ive never seen a line take that long for what is honestly just a normal amount of cars. It’s not like the line is a mile long. 12-15 cars at most! Do the math. Even at 15 cars, and over an hour wait means over 4 minutes per car on average. Sure there might be a large order in there but I’m sure most of them are simple 1 or 2 combo meals. Honestly, it’s actually kind of shady…. Like what are the employees actually doing that it would take that long? Certainly not making food! I’ve been in longer lines at other Taco Bell’s on Oahu and those moved 5 times faster. Beretania Taco Bell is inefficient. At the pace of the line and dollars they’d bring in for that one hour wait, how are they even making a profit after labor, product, and utilities. What a joke. Won’t be returning to this location anymore.

Used the mobile app and went in to get my food. The lady at the counter took my name. 15 minutes later after everybody had come and gone she looks at me and asks “can I help you?” I told her she already did and repeated that I had a mobile order and I gave her my name. She walks to the screen, looks at it and told the line that I was there. Meanwhile my disabled son was sitting in the car with his caregiver. I got a text that my son needed the bathroom. I told them to come in and all three of us approached the counter and I asked the same woman for a bathroom key. She looks at the male caregiver and my obviously disabled son. She is glaring at me for some unknown reason and slowly hands me a key. The care giver takes him to the bathroom and tells me “she gave us a women’s bathroom key.” I told him to just use it when I saw that it didn’t have stalls. When they were done and the caregiver was walking my son out I handed her the key and she starts loudly berating me. She demanded to know why I asked for a women’s key. At that point I had had enough. I asked her if she knew what the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT was and she just started in on me. This wasn’t a kid. This was a 60 year old Indian woman that was acting like this. I demanded to speak to a manager and she just walked away. In this day and age, it amazes me to find someone so ignorant. I asked for the name of the manager and she just glared at me. This is inexcusable repugnant behavior.

This Taco Bell is pretty consistent with their food quality and speed. The tall, dark haired cashier is very kind and considerate to both diners, as well as the small handful of people that just stop in to get water and use the restroom. In return, the latter seem to be respectful in and around the restaurant, and I've even seen them cleaning up the parking lot at night. The "security guard" gives off a bit of a creepy vibe, and speaks loudly and disparagingly about customers. A few of the female workers are cranky, but others seem friendly if quiet. The interior, including bathrooms, is always very clean and well stocked. The drive thru is open 24hours, which is nice, and the food is always consistent there as well. Taco Bell has always been vegetarian -friendly, but is now stretching this to offer many vegan options as well, including a vegan nacho cheese dip that is pretty awesome!

Great food, great service, nice facility. You may want to add an additional menu board for the drive-thru line so that drivers can make up their mind sooner before placing their orders? to move the car line? Thanks!

I pick up take out here 10-20x per week as I work for a food delivery company, and the people working do not care about how the food and drinks are prepared nor do they care about the customer experience. They are also generally very rude if asked to provide information on their store hours, ordering procedures, etc. The line is usually around the building and out into the street from 9 PM until 2 AM, and they are usually eating and drinking themselves when you finally arrive to the window. Avoid this location at all costs in the evenings!

The absolute worst wait times out of any fast food chain on the island. I'm talking 30-45 minutes, after the dining area closes. Corporate should get involved and see why it's like this every night. It's supposed to be fast food.

  • 1/5 J. David R. 5 months ago on Google
They hide out of sight somewhere in the front and turn off their sign at night and in the morning If you ordered online you can bang on the window for 15 minutes and they will slink out and make food. My guess is drugs, sleeping, or both. I've gone through this process several times. It's not an anomaly. Hours online are 24 hours, the app takes orders 24 hours, there are people there, but they don't want to work at night or early morning. During the day you can order online but it will take you hours to get through the line as others have said. It's quicker to take a bus to one of the other locations and order there.

management is super rude. i placed a mobile order and went to pick up on my bike and expected to be able to bring bike into lobby like I always do but the manager said I could not come in with the bike when it has never been an issue before? i’m in and out in less than 5 minutes but this time it was an issue? he was rude and said “we have bike parking for a reason,” but again it’s never been an issue before. I always place my order on the app because it’s easier and less time consuming but he would not even let me in the building and blocked the entrance. he didn’t even let me explain or anything and when i tired he got loud with me. DO BETTER. i canceled my order and went to a different location. this location sucks.

Was in line for literally three and a half hours. They only had two people working, so I understand it’s stressful when understaffed. However, when I finally got to the front, I saw the two employees standing there doing nothing. I sat at the WINDOW for 40 MINUTES before I finally paid- for the WRONG meal. After I clarified it wasn’t my order, she took like 15 minutes to figure out how to refund me and charge me correctly, then argued with me about the fact that she didn’t give me a receipt. She was seriously on drugs. I am not even joking. Over 3 hours in a line we didn’t want to leave because we already pre-ordered thru the app and the inside was closed. Seriously the craziest experience I’ve ever had at any food service.

They have some great food for great price. Sometimes it can take sometime for the good to come out unless u order ahead

Computers failed immediately after I ordered. No food. No explanation to the waiting masses. I left after 40 minutes, as my lunch break was ending. A $10 investment but a good reminder not to visit again.

This was by far the busiest Taco Bell I've ever been to. The walk in part of the store was closed, but the drive thru was open. The line was down the street for the drive thru at 930pm. It took 10 minutes to drive into the parking lot and 15 more minutes before we got our food. Obviously i love Taco Bell thats why i stayed in line so long. But maybe they should look at a double ordering line or hire more people. I gave it one less star for the wait. Not the food. LOL!

Visited on a Wednesday night at 11. The drive thru line was moving really slow. Just to see how long it would take, I decided to wait it out. 35 minutes later I got my taco bell. There was a hiring sign on the door, so I assume this location is understaffed. Be prepared to wait.

We are tourists and this is our first time in Taco Bell . I chose the Kulau Pork Quesadilla. It was delicious. My family were also happy with their orders. We had some hiccups with the orders because of our language differences. Richard was extremely hospitable and patient in rectifying our mistakes with a sweet smile. We highly recommended this Taco Bell.

Kind, considerate Cathy, who I 1st met with Carmen at another Taco Bell, is also very perceptive. She knew & greeted me by name after years apart & my Straub reincarnation, swapping a fright wig for a Bad Santa beard. I'll miss Carmen & hope she enjoys her well-earned retirement, but Beretania Taco Bell is my new breakfast bff, because of Cathy. How do our Taco Bells get the best people?

Newly revamped and the workers are hard working and great. Open 24/7, but gets crowded now as the McCully location closed early last year. As long as the drive-thru line isn't into the street, is always worth my time.

1st day of the new Mexican pizza and the drive thru line was crazy so I ordered in the store and had to wait 47 minutes to receive my order with several parties ordering after yet receiving their food before me. The drive thru wait is less than 15 minutes. Ridiculous.

This Taco Bell is renovated. This spot is great for a quick bite however, there might be a wait during peak times. This is one of the few Taco Bell's in town after the shutdown of the Mc Cully site. The menu is the same as other locations and the service is above average since the renovation.

Ordered a veggie nacho bel grande because I don’t eat meat. I received a regular nacho bel grande with beef. We turned the car around and went back to ask for the veggie one. I went home expecting the right order and ended up with a nachos with only beans and tomato. They did not put any cheese, guacamole, or sour cream which are all supposed to come with the veggie nacho bel grande. I tried to call back to ask for a refund for it but the phone kept ringing. Please refund my order or make time the correct one, I am not satisfied I can’t even call it nachos with no cheese.

It's a Taco Bell. Sometimes you get good tacos and burritos or what ever, with a nice portions, sometimes you don't. Very hit and miss. No in door dining which is fine I just set out side! But it's close and it's tacos and I'm a gambler so I throw the dice! It's Taco Bell.

Honestly just sad... I ordered a beef burrito with no rice, add potatoes, no creamy jalapeño and add chipotle sauce. I already paid extra because you won’t swap rice for potatoes. So you charge me extra when I’m not even getting extra. I’m getting less because it’s an add in, (so there’s less to the volume than a regular burrito.) But then you mess up the order by putting no beef because your employee taking the order read it back to me but told me to pull forward before she put the order in. So when I got home I got no beef and a burrito with cheese, rice, potatoes and chipotle. It was absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even eat it and it’s sitting in the trash as I write this. Luckily the other part was correct or at least I hope. But I won’t hold my breath because I might be waiting a few years for this restaurant to fix the problem...
