I got passionfruit flavor, but I couldn't get other flavors at the moment since most of the flavors were out of stock, unfortunately. I want to stop by this place one more time to try different flavors. By the way, the ice cream was good, so I enjoyed it. The passionfruit flavor was sourer than I thought. However, it was worth trying this flavor of ice cream.

I don't like Waikiki because it's so touristy. Overpriced, difficult to drive and parking is so expensive so I hardly go there. However, had a chance to work in the area so I decided to treat myself with some sweet at an ice cream/coffee shop, which I had been interested in, at the end of the day. Staff members were polite and pleasant. They offered tasting on ice cream. In the end, I chose a shake for which you get to choose 2 flavours of ice cream. It was ok. Coffee and something with raspberry and I tasted both even though they were well mixed. But wow, 16oz of shake costs more $8 ! Is it norm in Waikiki?! I don't think I will go back. It was good but not worth it. Tried once and now I am satisfied.

I tried the mint chip and the love potion, which was very creative and delicious. The line was not too bad and moved quickly. I got 2 scoops with 2 different flavors of delicious ice cream with a regular waffle cone, which came to $9 or so. Since my husband and I shared it, it wasn’t too costly for us both. But a bit pricey if you don’t share. The quality was very good for the ice cream, but I personally didn’t like the waffle cone very much.

Be ready to make a line. Place is always packed. We tried the ice cream and it was really good. Next day we went for coffee but they were running out of many things. I ordered a regular latte and was good. Best thing is the waffle cones. The smell will drive you there

The line here is always long but it is worth the wait. The macadamia nut ice cream is one of their best sellers. It is really good. Not too sweet. The kona coffee and the ube haupia are also a must try. They also have excellent customer service.

We had ice cream multiple times at this location as well as coffee & breakfast pastries. Each time the staff worked as a well oiled machine and we loved every item we tried. We specifically loved the Carmel Coconut Macademia Ice Cream 🤤

Try their Maui Mango Madness! You will not regret it. Some of their flavors are seasonal and it changes. Usually a long queue in front of their shop but worth the wait.

Service could be faster. Waiting time was more since the service was slower. Not all items from the menu was not available. Staff didn’t let people know about the unavailability of certain items when people waited on line for more than 45 minutes. Dessert was alright.

For an hour wait, this place is really meh! Let’s start with the positives. The cinnamon roll was good, but the Macadamia Nut sticky bun was the show stopper! It was very good. The problem comes to their coffee, it’s not even mediocre. They have been out of white chocolate our entire stay. So I tried the mocha, hot. It resembled the coffee grounds left in the bottom of a coffee pot you forget to put a filter in. The Carmel mocha was slightly better, but still had that thicker, powder texture. The lemon bar was nothing more than flour and lemon, and wasn’t even that good.

How can you NOT indulge in a Hawaiian variation of breakfast yummy-ness?!? Pineapple coconut scones, muffins, macadamia nut cookies, blonde bars- the list goes on— so much variety that one has to adopt the Pokémon phrase of “gotta catch them all” and change it to “gotta taste them all”!! Lol! The staff was great- the lines is typically long- but with the flavors coming from being roasted within the beans it’s worth the wait (none of those sugary syrups here!!) They seem understaffed but they maintain smiles and the positive energy and flow that I’m seeing all over this beautiful island! Mahalo!

Always has a long line. Most ice creams flavors run out early. Employees try there best, but it seems that they are short staffed. Ice cream is good.

OH MY GOD! This may be the best coffee pastry shop I have ever gone to. I did not have any ice cream, so I can't comment on that. Looks like normal ice cream. BUT THE COFFEE!!! THE DANISH!!!! We were booked for a week at the Hilton Village. We hated the place! We changed our flight and left after one night. The morning we left, I waited in line about 1/2 hour at Lappert's. I watched as they brought out more and more heavenly smelling pastry. I could not decide so I got a croissant, a cranberry orange scone, and a coffee roll/danish with a 12 oz straight latte. It was one of the best coffee rolls, one of the best croissants, and one of the best cranberry orange scones I have ever had. They make the coffee with whole milk and the coffee was great! This will be my only lasting great memory of this horrible, overpriced, crowded resort that I will never go back to.

Love the ice cream. The staff is great, but the manager has an attitude. I was so surprised with the way she addressed me while I was already being helped by another staff member. I also bought a rootbeer, and 2 chocolate milks for my kids. I didn't realize until we were back at the beach, 5 min walk, they were room temperature. I tasted one, and it was rancid! Be careful if you buy out of their front cooler, and beware of manager! 😅

Very delicious icecream! There typically a line but if you're wanting quality icecream it's worth the wait. I got one scoop of Coconut, Mac nut, carmel icecream and my husband's was one scoop of oreo cookie crunch and a scoop of coffee. 🎉

Man can there be a wait here but it's definitely worth it. For the fruit flavors some of the best ice cream I've had period - since ingredients are locally sourced any of the fruit flavors (coconut, pineapple, raspberry etc.) really stand out. Not to mention the waffle cones make it even more convenient to eat! Highly recommend.

Use your Hilton dining credits here! It's a great spot to grab some ice cream in the evening or start your day with some coffee and pastries. We spent over $120 on a breakfast at a hotel restaurant, which was nice but way, way overpriced. This was a nice alternative.

Truly exceptional. Top 5 on my all time favorites out of 100. Brilliant flavors including a few innovative ones, great texture and flavor and very large portions. Their 5 mini scoops "can't decide" is essentially a pint in a waffle bowl for $9. Very strongly recommend. My favorite flavors were the Kona mud pie (perfect coffee taste), Nene's tracks (vanilla with chocolate nuts and fudge), lilikoi/passion fruit sorbet and the lychee sorbet. The ube haupia and mango sorbet were also quite good.

The best ice cream I have in some time! Homemade with care and imagination to create such delicious flavor combinations. No line we stopped in so able to sample couple which made it harder to choose from, however completely satisfied with the final combination. We recommend them all!

Went here two years ago and it was awesome. Came back this trip and it was not the same. The selection was less and the ice cream wasn’t the same anymore. It’s still good but not the “omg, I must come back every visit” kind of good

Line is always long, but the ice cream is so worth it. Also ordered the vanilla macadamia nut coffee and flavor was spot on.

Lapperts only in Hawaii. Several ice cream flavors, highly recommend the caramel coconut macadamia and Ube. The sundaes are big enough to share. Freshly made waffle cones/bowls. Service was friendly. Be prepared to wait in line.

Excellent home-made ice cream with so many unique flavors! If you want to try a bunch you can order five kinds in the can’t decide sundae.

  • 4/5 Alexander C. 2 years ago on Google
The ice cream and coffee here are pretty good, but it's definitely not worth the very high price and wait. The wait is always crazy (there's always 20+ people in line), and the place feels very tourist trappy in general. All that being said, it's still a nice place if you have a sweet tooth - Just be wary that there's nowhere to sit both inside and outside the place! Lastly, it's pretty cool that you're able to see them make waffle cones while you're in line. That's unique for sure!

There was a line out the door, but it moved pretty quickly. Tons of unique flavors and a variety of cones to pick from. The employees were very friendly, allowing us to sample flavors before picking an ice cream. The perfect treat after a long day in the sun.

Got the “Can’t Decide” advertised as 5 half scoops. Was overwhelmed (pleasantly) to be served 5 full scoops which was plenty for two people to share! Everything we ate was delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will return!
