This is definitely an unexpected experience. I ate there with a friend of mine this evening and did not know what to expect other than food. Much to my surprise it is extremely clean. The manager Rika took my order. Very kind very patient and gave answers to every question I had. The service was excellent. The time to prepare my order was short. Delivered to the table where I was sitting. Everything was prepared with the utmost care. Honestly from the outside it was unassuming unpretentious. But clearly once inside you realize that all your expectations will be met. I highly recommend this as a place to eat. There is somewhat limited seating but for our visit it did not pose an issue. If you're looking for some out of the way but a wonderful place to eat... I recommend this location Dale's kitchen and bakery. It is so refreshing to go to a restaurant and eat and be appreciated for being a customer. What a novel idea!!!!!

Plate lunches with a Japanese twist, plus a terrific bakery and a Japanese inspired pasta outlet to boot. I really like the nori chicken (pictured) , the miso salmon, and fried rice. The pasta entrees are also delish. I like Dell’s because the food is always prepared to order, taste great, and there is a variety of options. A few weeks ago, I saw a couple eating a fruit sando at Kūhiō beach and asked them where they got it. They mentioned the Dell’s, like a computer Manufacturer. (They didn’t mention dells kitchens like Hell’s Kitchen 🤣) We have been trying at least one new restaurant every week - so when I saw a 15% off coupon … I had to try it. I was impressed. They take pride on making sure all five colors and five tastes are represented in one plate! They have fresh salad and pickled (sour) veggies on every plates 五味・五色・五感・五法 The first time I visited, the cashier was not friendly but the food was great. Today, cashier was friendly and informative- and was able to use the coupon finally!!! There are many bread and sando choices for Keiki / Children. Perfect Bento box before you head out to a hike. Remember … they make every dish fresh. Expect the wait 15 min or so .. for onolicious.

I got the loco moco plate and was pleasantly surprised. The portion was a good size and the gravy and rice were great. The burger was more artisanal compared to the standard patty. There are also a bunch of seats outside for you to eat with ur homies!

The food here is more for the healthy. The pork kimchee does not use MSG which I'm sensitive to. I chose to have salad instead of rice and the mashed potato salad was light and tasty

Order ahead, usual 20 minutes wait and no chairs near area where food comes out. Tonkatsu was good but average portion.

We loved everything in our plates! The food was very tasty and of great quality. You could taste it in every bite. Unfortunately, we came later in the day and so there was not much displayed in the bakery showcase. I called in our orders and it was ready for pick up right after we parked, about 20 minutes later. Parking was easy and right out front. Already looking forward to coming back. 🙂

I had their bento with Miso Eggplant and it was delicious, great portion and good price. And beautiful presentation, look at this plate!!!

So many good choices to make here! Delightful place for Japanese Dishes done in the Plate Lunch style. Personal favorite is the Karaage Chicken, tied with the Tonkatsu Curry. Super friendly staff serves up wonderfully done dishes! Don't miss out on the Bakery Counter for lots of yummy treats and breads to take home!

Had a meal at Dell's Kitchen and Bakery recently and, wow, talk about getting more bang for your buck! They got our food out super quick, and I've got to give a shoutout to that Chicken Katsu – totally on point. And if you're there, don't even think about leaving without trying their pumpkin custard pastry. Game changer. I Can't wait to go back!

Came in for the bakery. I was surprised at how good the entrees and savory foods looked! We settled on an apple turnover muffin, a chocolate pan, and a spicy curry pan. All very tasty. Very kind service and good atmosphere with tables to sit at. Would love to try their entrees next time.

Love this little Japanese rest stop inspired eatery! The miso salmon plate was so nourishing and filling, and I loved the variety of veggies and pickles - the salmon portion was agreeable too. The rainbow dango set is super fun to try with folks, and is available every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Favorite of those flavors was the matcha and Pina colada :)

I'll make it 5 star if they stop serving food in plastic take-out boxes! (Especially for dine-in!) Please also serve us a glass of water.... $16 lunch and I was thirsty lol

Beautiful white bread loaf, baguette & ciabatta. Since they can make good bread, Just wish that this place do sandwiches, soups & salad. this Island have too many plate lunches.

Favorite breakfast place on the strip. Amazing grits I come here almost every time I am on the strip just for the grits. Very busy place but work very fast to get you seated quickly every time I have been here several times and never once had a bad experience. Love it and love the staff!

I got Hayashi rice plate, but it was disgusting and I stopped eating with the first bite because the sauce was too sour no umami, and onions in it weren't cooked enough and too crispy, they have to be melted and soft texture when you make Hayashi rice. The chef doesn't even know what hayashi rice is exactly.

This place is amazing! Vast selections of plates including vegetarian choices. Food tastes great. Bakery is also worth trying.
