Had a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was on point! Rey and Ali did a great job keeping us entertained all night. I would definitely bring my family back here. Highly recommended! Rey cooked all of our food to perfection and in a timely matter taking care of all our allergies needs along the way, all while keeping us laughing! Didn't ask about the bartender but I should have. Drinks were perfect! Thanks to the whole crew! P.S. Waygu was delicious!

This was my 1st time to eat at an authentic Japanese restaurant. What a delight to watch our chef prepare our neal before us, he was definitely experienced with those knives! Our food was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The soup was very tasteful, and the salad dressing was different and good! I had a glass of plume wine it was sweet but not sugary, it went well with the lobster and shrimp. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our night out!

Attentive, professional service; classic teppanyaki ambiance; fantastic chef who was fun and humorous; a bit disappointed the original Benihana menu replaced with new combos not quite as robust and a bit more pricey when paired; the shrimp and steak perfect, but the chicken not so much - and a different kind then original Benihana’s. Drinks always great; expensive but worth a visit when staying at the Hilton Hawaiaan Village.

This was a great experience, even as a lone guest they still did all the tricks and fun stuff with me. As far as teppanyaki/hibachi goes, this is definitely one of the best I've had the pleasure of experiencing. This is the only one I've been to that had Wagyu beef, which was superb to say the least. I thought dipping it in the mustard sauce might ruin this fine cut of beef, but it actually prepared my taste buds to fully engage the flavor of the meat. I enjoyed every bite to the fullest. The onion soup was top notch. A bit of beef in the broth, and an excellent flavor overall. The salad was average, and it's ginger dressing was a bit bitter. To end the meal, I had the Sherbet. It was orange and a bit above average in flavor and texture. This is definitely a must for anyone looking for this style cuisine.

This was my first time visiting since it was Benihana. I loved the experience. We had the best chef - a local boy from Maui. He was very entertaining, outgoing, and just plain amazing. The others seemed dull in comparison. The food was great - way better than Tanaka of Tokyo.

Stopped by this little gem...got seated promptly, place is very lean and organized. Ordered up some drinks and they were great. Very colorful and flavorful butvif that's not your thing, big list of alcohol to choose from. Ordered the filet mignon with veggies and fried rice and some prawns. Fantastic! Jun was our chef and he was excellent! Top notch guy fur sure who's got a great personality and skill. I highly recommend this place.

Great environment, super friendly staff, we had a great time and enjoyed every second of it! Food was great, drink was spectacular. Our chef had a good sense of humour. The prices looked high at the beginning but at the end of the day we came up with the idea that it is reasonable compared to the food and service you get! Really recommended.

This restaurant was definitely worth the experience! The little 'performance' the chef put on was amazing. The food and drinks were great! I definitely recommend coming here with friends or family!

Worst place ever. The chef didn’t know what he is doing. Too much salt too much soy sauce. We ordered steak and chicken fried rice. He did over cook the steak and put way too much salt. And the chicken fried rice tastes was horrible. He didn’t even made chicken fried rice. He cooked separately (rice and chicken) then put the chicken on top of the rice bowl. And He massed up all the table. I think he didn’t even practice the performance neither. He dropped two eggs on the customers table. All cracked. He used his hand to picked up the cracked egg and put them on the pan to cook for us. It was kind of comedy show. Very expensive horrible taste comedy show. I paid it for $250.00 for all of my family. Don’t go this place. Don’t waste your money. Just go to ABC mart to by Musubi (around $3). Way better than this unnecessary expensive restaurant.

The Whisky Hole Bar was wonderful! Top-notch service. The food was perfect, Wagyu Fried Rice and the Striploin steak were great. The Pork Gyoza as an appetizer was to die for. Mix drinks and a flight of whiskey to round out the night. Great spot to people watch and have a great meal after a day on the beach.

Honestly, a very nice experience with the chef. I think most customers were having a good time with their chef! The staff is attentive and sometimes this comes off a little pushy. Almost like they want us out ASAP so they can seat more people. I get it. Unfortunately, most of the staff is hard to understand and given they are wearing at least one if not two masks it is almost impossible. This was a little frustrating. Food was great! If you come here, bring your patience

What a fun evening! We were randomly seated with another couple from the PNW. Made for some great conversation. We enjoyed the chef's presentation, very entertaining, and the food was prepared well. Loved the shrimp! Servers were by frequently, it made for a nice unique evening out. Reservations are a good idea and prices fall in the higher category, but worth it.

Arrived in Waikiki late and was hungry Aoki was still open and there was no wait but still lots of diners. I was promptly seated, provided a menu and a glass of water. I ordered the salmon steak. It comes with a host of other small sides of veggies, steamed rice and shrimp. The food is cooked at your table. The chef is skilled and does tricks with the utensils, fun stuff. The quality of the food was well worth the price. Everything was really fresh and delicious! The host and chef were friendly.

We had an enjoyable family dinner here. Our Chef (John, I believe?) was very engaging and fun. Being that our 3 kids had been traveling all day, it helped keep them happy and awake enough to eat even though they were exhausted. The food was delicious, although we really didn't eat the plethora of onions. The kim chi fried rice was well done. I split the fillet and lobster and jumbo shrimp plates with my son. It was a lot of food and we did have to take some home, but everything was delicious and he was very happy. We also had a few other steaks, including the Japanese Wagyu. My husband enjoyed it, but I'm not sure it was worth the high price tag as his cut did have a very pronounced tough piece running through the middle of the steak. My youngest had a kid's meal, and it was nice that it had corn instead of the zucchini and onions as a side. My middle child loved the strawberry banana smoothie and still says it was his favorite drink he's had in a long time. Aside from the price we really enjoyed our meal here. We were staying at the Hale Koa Hotel, so it was an easy walk over.

Great for big party, if you have at least 6 in your group you get the table to yourself. Extremely fast with service and food, friendly family environment and they can accommodate food allergies.

The food—EXCELLENT. Our waiter, Jack, and chef, Rey, were attentive and entertaining, respectively. And being right near the beach for the Friday night weekly fireworks at the nearby Hilton was perfect. If you are a group of 4 or more, you definitely need reservations, but since there were only two of us, we snuck in to fill a table that had a family of five already at it. We did not have to wait at the prime time of 6:30pm on a Friday night. I was disappointed that we were not served the initial clear onion soup like traditional hibachi restaurants; however, pleasantly surprised that we were given an ice scream dessert choice at the end. So it all balances out! We would go again. Very good food and big servings!

This restaurant is a bit pricey, but worth every penny! Our waitress never let a glass get empty, the cook was very talented and entertaining and the atmosphere is great. Food was amazing. I don’t normally give 5 stars, so definitely stop and eat here. You won’t be disappointed. * you do need to make a reservation to ensure you get a table.

The parking for the restaurant could be a challenge. There is no immediate parking. The decor is interesting. The service was very good and helpful. It is suggested to make reservation for the dinner time hours. The yeppanyaki was good. I suggest the wagyu. They do not serve sushi.

Overall great experience even though it took awhile to get started and the plate were dirty but they’re taken away and replaced by new ones once brought up to our servers attention. Food was delicious and the chef was funny which made dinner even more enjoyable.

Great experience today, as always. My family and I went at about 4 p.m. and there was no wait to be seated. Our cook was awesome and our server was outstanding and very attentive. I have been here on many occasions and they never disappoint, even when they are busy. Everything is always cooked to perfection, and everyone is always so friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. It will always be one of my favorites.

We had a great time! I mean when is Hibachi not ever a great time. Our chef was hilarious and made the meal very enjoyable! The employees were so kind. I may have missed it on the menu, but I was shocked they didn’t have sushi?!

Fun and nice! Especially if you are staying Hilton, it’s good to visit!! When they have many people you might need to wait for long time to be cooked.

We had dinner at Rocky last night and it was much better than Benihana and Shogun. The meal came with soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, veggies, and rice. Everything was delicious! Recommend 100%
