Just had Koala Moa again for the first time in about 5 years. I used to go to the old location on Nimitz at least once a week. It was always the best huli chicken on the island. This last time at the new location was actually really disappointing. The chicken was not really hot and was pretty dry. First time I've ever had an issue so I'm hoping it was one-off and next time will be like the old days.

It was the best chicken we EVER ate! It was so juicy and tasty. The rice was perfectly cooked 🤤 we found Koala Moa as a food truck on the road near Waimānalo Beach 🏝

Was driving down Waimanalo side one day on the way to Sherwoods. Turned in, saw the food trucks, nice. Slammed the brakes and did a 180 when I saw the Koala Moa truck. Hard workers ( I used to work with one of them ), simple setup, and fantabulous onolicious chicken. I forgot how much it was but we got the quarters which I remember were priced pretty cheap. Moist and tasty as always. If you come across them, don't get into an accident getting there. 🤙✌

We tried everything — the rib plate, the combo plate, the full salad, and the sides. Everything was really tasty and delicious. The service was excellent as well.

Great grilled chicken and pork ribs. Both are very well seasoned even inside and we didn't need sauce(they don't serve sauce anyway) but for some people, they might be a bit too salty. Especially chicken was very juicy inside and nicely crispy outside. Very friendly staff members. You can eat in and they have outside seating area too.

Smaller area to sit down. Chicken was amazing. Be great to get and take to the beach ⛱️

Craig K. This as the best chicken I've had in a long time. Deliciousness in every bite. So juicy. I bought a whole chicken but could only eat half. I had the other half for dinner the next day. Go try your tummy will be happy you did.

We always want to eat hulihuli but it’s hard to find to eat. (It’s hard to know when and where the hulihuli truck is). We ordered jumbo plate (whole chicken with 3 choices). It was good amount for two person.

Chicken always tasty. I had the double combo which included the ribs. Portion just too small for the price. Barely fed the two of us. I think better stick to the full cjicken combo.

Excellent Huli Huli Chicken. Been coming here since i was a kid every Sunday in front of bellows air force base. Friendly Staff and always on point 🙌🏽

Usually I go to their Sunday food truck out at the bellows Air Force Base and get their chicken at that location. It's delicious and I try to go once a month. Then I found out they were close to work and I could go there for lunch on a weekday. The chicken did not seem quite as fresh. Still lovely and tasty, but not quite as moist as I remember the chicken being out at bellows Air Force Base food Farmers market. I think I'll reserve the Sundays at bellows Air Force Base for my purchase of their absolutely delicious huli huli style chicken. But I highly recommend either location

I lived in kahaluu and waited for Sundays for them in waimanalo ,now I'm in kalihi and they're avalible all week ,best chicken on planet earth.

Always come through when we want the best chicken. Especially for large orders and they taste the same Always mmm good👍
